Very poor service today. I've come here several times and not had any problems but today was different. I arrived and there were two people ahead of me at 2:55 PM. They were rather indecisive ordering and didn't finish ordering until 3:03 PM the woman refused to process my lunch combo order since it ended at 3 PM. This is just a small place in a plaza. They do a great job on their food. We got the general sao chicken that was a good portion even for 2 people. Rice was good . Our fried dumplings were good with the sauce. Egg roll was average. This is a good place off the interstate to stop by. read more

Beware. This place doesn't know the difference between chow main and low main dishes. My wife ordered shrimp chow main, and what she got was a bowl full of soggy vegetables with a small handful of maybe 5 shrimp and no chow main noodles. I ordered hot and sour soup that was hot buy not sour. My Daughter ordered the honey chicken. The honey chicken came with a few tablespoons of honey at the bottom of a bowl and dry breaded chicken on top. Don't eat here. There are better pet food stores near by that I'm sure have better taster food than Kings Wok. This place has tasty rice noodles!! Okay, so maybe you knew that, OR maybe you just found out (& that's okay too, you're welcome ;-) Call your order in unless you want to wait about 10-20 minutes. The rice soup, egg drop soup, and wonton soup are all great choices when you have a cold and don't want to cook and want a tasty soup other than home made ramen. I feel like sometimes I've not gotten a soda when I probably should have with my meal, but that's okay bc I don't drink it anyway and they are usually really busy. The food is always hot. It will be nice when we can go inside to order again instead of the intercom machine. I have tinnitus and my hearing is horrible, the intercom isn't always clear enough for me. Five stars to boost, would normal be a 4 star for me, but the people dragging down the ratings are either upset because of personal coordination issues or wait time. Bottom line, sometimes places are busy, they are ALWAYS busting their hump to get orders out the door when I go in. It's solid, fresh Americanized Chinese food. Have the right expectations when going to a strip takeout place, and it exceeds them for me. Only reason I would say 4 stars normally is because it always seems to be so expensive somehow. read more

Busy place on a Friday at 7:30pm. Not really an "eat in" place, you can, but it is more of a "take out" hole in the wall. I'd suggest calling in your order since they cook it to order. I'm giving it four stars, not because it is great Chinese food, but because they are a hardworking family, who serve cooked to order and fresh Chinese food. We have lived here, in the area for 3 years now. Honestly, we go to King's Wok for the same reason we go to the other restaurants in the immediate area, convenience. Most American/New York style Chinese restaurants are very similar, some better than others. This one is good just like many others. I like someone else saw no reason for them to have only 3.5 stars. It tastes good and I haven't ever gotten sick from their food. Thats 5 stars in my book. Plus it is a real nice family, as most are, that own the restaurant and seem to work everyday open to close. Don't waste your time calling your order in. They don't give you a number or ask your name. When you get there they ask you what you ordered. I have no idea, my wife called the order in. So now I have to call home and ask her to call the order in again! Then you wait 30 mins for your food. Now, on the rare occasion that we decide to go there, we write down our order and order there. It takes the same amount of time. The food is not worth the aggravation. read more

Not many places to eat in this area and this is a place you should not even consider. No customer service skills at all. Their food is greasy...very greasy. Bit into the egg roll and grease oozed out all over me. Food had no flavor that even remotely tasted like Chinese food. General tsos chicken tasted like sweet n sour chicken warmed up.
