I said "fine" and he left to put in the order. BBJ shows back up with this giant lifted truck that ran over 2 basketball goals, 5 bicycles and a cat which had my tiny RAV 4 window in it. BBJ tells me he got it handled and it will be a few minutes while simultaneously killing my grass with his tobacco spitting. After he was done, the job looked good and while I'm trying to avoid drowning in a giant pool of tobacco spit, he hands me the bill. I give it to my wife to pay as I have to go to work. I assumed it's handled. Months go by and I get a call from this circus. Apparently, the bill wasn't paid. According to my wife, she gave a check to Sling Blade. I relayed this info to them and left it at that. Years past, and I am living in Japan. I get a call at 2am JST as I was getting ready to go to bed after studying Japanese for hours on end. Lord and behold, I got this chick from Hee Haw. She starts going on and on and on in whatever hillbilly language she speaks. My language translation app basically decided it had enough and proceeded to go into a coma. I finally was able to piece together the dialect and she was wanting payment for a bill we already paid. After informing her that I moved and I won't be back in the states for a while, she hung up. A few months later, I get yet another call. At this point, my wife can't find the bill as everything is in storage. Dolly Parton wannabee is now threatening me that her boss, Gomer Eugene Rockefeller Earnhart. was wanting to have me arrested by the AN-US-A, EF-BEE-EYE, and the ever famous....SEE-EYE-A! I told them I am in Japan and I cannot find any history of payment owed and that our records are in storage in the United States. Dolly Parton wannabee has a sidekick who apparently uses way too much blonde coloring when dyeing her hair because she wanted to know why I was using a Ja Pan when a perfectly good skillet from Walmart (God bless the USA!) would do while her boss could be heard quoting the lines from the greatest movie to ever represent the south: Deliverance. While this redneck hick was screeching out the lines "Now you just drop dem draws and squeal like a pig!", he overheard me mention Japan, he then yelled across the trailer park wondering if Japan was the country that helped Germany bomb Pearl Harbor and that I was an anti-American for helping Japan sink American Battleships in the Port of Havana. Something about the USS Maine... Realizing what I was up against, the combined intellect of this company barely beat out the temperature of an ice cube in an igloo during a blizzard in Alaska, I asked to setup a payment plan in a small dollar amount that would give me time to get back to the States and check the archive boxes. Needless to say, they didn't honor it and just ransacked an account and helped themselves to whatever was in it. I called and asked why and was told that Gomer Eugene Rockefeller Earnhart didn't like the fact I helped Japan get Germany to bomb Pearl Harbor and that Beni Hana was in fact a secret communist spy network and that he was ordering up a ton of baby oil because P-Diddy told him to during one his prison calls. Moral of the story: Never let hillbillies touch your stuff, keep all records readily available and learn history because Germany never bombed Pearl Harbor. Japan did. Peace out.

Buyer beware! They will do a less than adequate install and when trim pieces and gaskets come off…read moreafter their install you are out of luck. They did a shoddy install on an explorer windshield, trim pieces flew off, gaskets were all cut. They won't even cover a dime of the repairs needed because of their "workmanship". Thankfully Rockwall Ford is at least covering 50% of the repairs. If Yelp would allow zero stars, this would be the first business I'd ever give that rating. My fellow car owners, you've been warned.

Not only did they replace my windshield for exactly the quoted price, I had a front bumper that was loose on one end after I caught it on something when backing up. They used a little of the windshield adhesive to stick it back in place! You can't even tell it was ever loose! I could not recommend them more highly!

After just shy of $10k, 8 trips back to the store, and a month of listening to systems with…read moreissues.... We will NOT be back. I had 2 sound systems installed in 2 brand new vehicles. When i picked up the Bronco, Joel Joseph had "misunderstood" me and did an additional $600 worth of sound deadening. Then I paid for Alpine S69c speakers, and they installed Alpine E series speakers, causing the amp to fry them. Then They broke clips in one of the speaker grills (they replaced after they realized i knew) . They did not install one of the covers that go over the speaker, and caused vibrations. Then they installed another amp incorrectly, and caused another set of speakers to blow. Then I keep finding little nicks and scratches on the trim. Then they charged me for a specific subwoofer, and then its on back order, so they put a cheaper subwoofer in, and charged me full price for more expensive subwoofer. After install, the chime was twice as loud, and when opening the doors, the ding is way too loud. I asked them to fix, but they said they didnt turn it up and it wasnt their fault, even though it wasnt that loud before. I asked for a full refund, and to return the cars to stock, they refused to give a refund. So here now im here to warn folks to be careful when dealing with them.... Check your stuff. Im sure Joseph will respond to this saying they do good work and they guarantee their stuff, and if i had an issue i should go up there etc etc.... Well Joel.... i did. 8 times. Im done giving you chances to get stuff right that should have been done right the 1st time. 10k should have gotten me 2 AMAZING sounding systems.... instead i got 2 systems that sound like they came from Buckner.

I wrote up a list of what I wanted and sent it to the car stereo installers that had the best reviews on Yelp, including one I had used in the past. I must have sent this to 5 of the top-rated car stereo installers in Dallas. And guess what? None of them could respond intelligently to the requirements that I put together except for Joseph's Auto Toy Store. My challenge was that Joseph's did not have a 4 or 5 star rating on Yelp--although the shop does on Facebook and Google. So, I kept trying to get the other car stereo installers to respond to me via email and Facebook Messenger and Yelp messenger. I even tried calling a couple of times and got 'voicemail box is full.' (That is a huge pet peeve of mine--clear your voicemail boxes people!) And after 3 weeks of this, I replied to Joseph's via a Yelp message and explained my dilemma. Joel, the owner, replied back that they've been in business 36 years and have great customer and supplier relationships. He replied to my messages via Yelp so fast. So, I figured I'd give him a try. Yesterday, I stopped by and got my stereo installed. There were some complications that I think other car stereo shops would've taken longer to fix -- like a part was missing and it was raining. Joel called in a favor and had someone drive the part to us in the rain, even with all the Dallas traffic. Once installed, there was an issue with the steering wheel controls, and they caught the issue on their own --without me having to notice it--and used a hardwiring work around because there were no manufactured connectors available to match the unique configuration of the stereo and my vehicle. This did take longer than I expected, but I know that with any of the other shops I called -- who couldn't put two sentences together over text or email -- that I wouldn't have received my car back yesterday and that I'd still be waiting. My overall assessment of this Joseph's Auto Toy Store is that this place is run by professionals who know what they're doing and can communicate clearly. Unfortunately, no other shop I called--including Best Buy--gave me this impression. If you're a buyer that appreciates workmanship and communication, this is the place for you.

I was in need of getting my old tint removed and new tint applied. I looked around and some places…read morecharge so much. I looked on Craigslist and found an ad for tint $69. I figured yeah right. I called and got a deal to strip and tint my car for $100. Any shade I wanted. I went with 5% on the back and rear. And 20% on the front driver and passenger windows. Everything was done in about 1 1/2 hours. The office is easily located right off Shiloh rd by the train tracks. The lobby has movies and samples of tint shades they have. Even offer complimentary water. I waited to see how the tint would look after a few days before leaving a review. Everything is awesome. Bubbles went away after a few days. Can finally roll my windows down lol. I would recommend this place to friends. Thanks guys
