We brought in our Rolls-Royce Wraith Aris Edition--one of only 10 in existence--and they performed a miracle. Other high-end shops told us the only option was replacing the entire front end just to fix the bumper, with 6-8 week timelines and no guarantee the aftermarket parts would even fit. But not Texas Collision Center. They matched the custom paint perfectly and restored the bumper to factory-new condition--in just one week. They saved a rare luxury vehicle that no one else could confidently touch. Their professionalism, precision, and turnaround time were absolutely unmatched. I even had to pay additional $$ for a new windshield. the 'service' manager then ghosted me, and blamed the UAW strike. luckily, my car was totaled and I now don't have to worry about trading in a car with an incorrectly installed windshield GEICO doesn't consider them an approved collision center, now I know why. read more

Had a collision on our Ford car. Took several months to get our car returned to us. Picked up the car then had to return it to them because they put on the wipers backwards. Still waiting in the lobby for them to fix it. Also, if you're dropping off your car make sure they have the parts before you drop your car off otherwise your insurance company will not cover your rental. Had to go through many calls to get an answer. Lots of turnover is an issue here as well. Lastly, the front desk usually doesn't know what is actually going on. read more

Company rep tried to extort me $350 for a written estimate after telling me the estimate verbally after a 5 minute inspection of my vehicle. You think I would get my vehicle repaired with your company after that scumbag behavior? Might want to try another sales tactic. Maybe he was just lazy and didn't want the work? Edit: Brandon T. - I won't hold my breath waiting for you guys to contact me. I notice you don't refute or take exception to anything I said, which leads me to believe that the $350 charge for estimates is your standard company policy. Your potential customers should be aware of this before they spend time traveling to your business for an estimate. My requests from the website to make contact with a company rep. to book an appointment for repair estimate went unreturned, leading me to believe the site is non-functional or not monitored by anyone. The website has multiple instances of text saying you should make an appointment for best service. There was no mention of this $350 charge from the receptionist who also would not allow me to book an appointment for an estimate, instead telling me to just stop by and the estimate would be done in 10-15 minutes. Wasted my time and gas for this treatment and I want to help make sure no one else does the same. read more

My car was damaged in the wind storm in early June and I needed to get it fixed. It wasn't anything major, but it was something that needed to be fixed. As a Subaru owner, I went looking for a Subaru certified collision center and Bob Tomes is the only one in North Texas. I didn't do much research after that because my concern was finding somewhere that I knew my Subaru would be fixed correctly (parts, paint, etc). I was blown away from start to finish with their process. That was probably the easiest process I've ever been through and I never had to worry. Regardless of what kind of car you have, I would highly recommend them. I drove 30 miles one way to them and don't regret it. They keep you in the loop the whole time via email/text updates (my favorite), everyone I spoke with was very friendly and helpful, and they do awesome work! read more

Gave me the worst headache after getting my car back. Took 3-4 weeks to get my car back. When I got my car back my HID headlights were not working and they person who was looking over my vehicle said he couldn't do anything to help me. So I had to hassle with them to bring my car back to fix my headlights. Wasted another 1-2hrs to fix something that should've be already fixed. Then month later found out my fan that kept my radiator cool from the summer was unplugged. Had to take it to my Hyundai dealership to find out the problem with my car. Shitty service after getting my car back. Not coming back. Can't believe they took $10,000 from the insurance and still can't fix my car. read more

My son bought a new Mustang that had warranty problems with the bumper clips. While we initially had communication problems with one of the technicians, eventually Matt became involved. He was honest and accommodating and his involvement turned a potentially frustrating situation into one that was extremely satisfying. These guys are really good. My advisor was Trent. My teenage son had a small accident where he rear ended another vehicle. My insurance suggested a couple of body shops, which were chain style shops. I'd asked the insurance company if I could use Bob Tomes collision instead, and they said yes, but they couldn't guarantee their limited life time parts. Not sure what that meant, but wanted to give my business back to the place I bought my truck. These guys were amazing! The installation was perfect. I really like these guys, and they even honored my military service and gave me a discount of $100. How nice!! Hopefully I don't have to see these guys again, but if for some reason I have another mishap, my I'll be going back to them. read more

This review is not for sales - that went fairly smoothly when I went in to purchase my 2018 Shelby GT350. However; the hood did not line up and I took my car over to the Collision Center and that is where everything went downhill. I had to deal with an extremely rude guy by the name of Matt Burkley - Collision Center Director. All I can say to Bob Tomes is if he is the best you can do for a Collision Center Director then you all need to rethink your Customer Service. Matt acted like he didn't want to deal with me when I brought my car to see if they could fix the hood issue. Had an attitude but I thought maybe he was having a bad day. Found a dent on my fender that needed to be repaired. He said he didn't know if Ford would approve the fix - even though it either happened at the dealership or in transit to the dealership. He got it approved and set me up to "repair" it - said they would need to repair and repaint and blend with the hood (Lead Foot Grey) - after telling him that I wanted it fixed right to where you could not tell it had been repainted - his reply was "we will do the best we can with the tools we have" - what sort of "Director" would tell a customer that and set the repair up to the customer to already be a failure. The perfect response for good customer service would have been "we will take care of you - no problem - you will be proud when you get it back". To make the matter even worse was he wanted to give me a dirty Focus to drive until they got my $70,000.00 car repaired that I bought from them 3 weeks ago. I had family members and neighbors tell me not to buy from Bob Tomes because of bad experiences that they have had there and I can tell you all that no matter what I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER CAR FROM BOB TOMES. The customer service is extremely poor and they don't seem to care about the customer at all. Beware folks - and please ask to speak to anyone but Matt if you have a repair to be made. You will definitely leave there with a really bad taste in your mouth after having to deal with an employee who treats customers they way he does. read more

I have been very disappointed in my experience so far. The "collision advisor", in my opinion, is slow walking the claim. I have called to check on progress only to be told that he is not in the office. On EVERY interaction he is out of the office, outside somewhere. My claim cannot proceed until he submits a request for additional authorization from my insurance. Thinking it over, no wonder the claim is not progressing because he is never in his office to work on submitting "paperwork". The car is sitting out in their repair lot with numerous other cars blocking access to it. I receive NO information. When I called today the admin could not find me in their system and could not find the advisor. I had to drive there and go in to get an update which was "I am really busy, you are one of 20 cars I am working on, I will get to you, your car could be ready in 4 days or several weeks." read more
