It's a medium sized Asian buffet restaurant with fair amounts of food choices including a hibachi area where you assemble your ingredients and they cook to order. In the weekends, they have snow crab legs and oysters. Services were good and the server was attentive and friendly.

The first time I came here for dinner, the food was alright. They have a variety of food selections such as sushi, fried foods, Chinese food, desserts, fruits, etc., just like all other Chinese buffet restaurants. The waiter was in a hurry when he brought out the bill and was not professional.

I saw Kioku Supreme Buffett while my wife and I were shopping next door. I wandered in and the price was reasonable and they looked fairly respectable. While having a beer one day at one of the local breweries, we ran into a few other customers who just raved about the food at Kioku. Well, we figured that we ought to try them out. We took our fourteen year old granddaughter who loves sushi and seafood this past Friday evening and we all had a really good time. Now, this is a Buffett so were not expecting four star food but the food here was really very good. They have a very wide selection of Chinese (Fried Rice, Beef and Broccoli, Orange Chicken, ect.) Sushi, Sashimi and Rolls, Cajun Crawfish, Shrimp, King Crab, Mussels, Oysters, Catfish and Salmon to choose from. We tried a little bit of everything, things we liked, things we didn't get or have often and new things we have never tried before. Everything we ate was really, really delicious. We were not expecting this quality of food even if the outside appeared to be a bit questionable. Between the quality/taste of the food and the large selection, Kioku Supreme Buffett was definitely a bargain for the price and well worth trying if this type of food is appealing to you.

The place is really nice, the food was good until I tried the mongolian beef which was cold, but other than that everything else was hot. The wonton soup was delicious! The server was really nice and attentive.

It was a good Chinese buffet. They have soups, appetizers, sushi, Mongolian stir fry in the back and desserts. Come hungry and drink water.

I'm not going to add a bunch of pics because there are already enough. The staff is friendly, the place is pretty clean and the way they have the buffet set up is excellent. It's in a large circle with plenty of room for others to move around. Lots of variety so you can find something you like. The food is average to most Chinese buffets. Sunday lunch was 18.00. It has plenty of seafood for me. The crab legs are served cold instead of hot. I would recommend this place.

Food is hot and fresh. Excellent variety. Great value at $8.99 for lunch. Possibly one of the best Chinese buffets I have been to.

We like Kioku a lot! They have nontraditional and transitional dishes and most everything is always fresh. I come for the sesame balls!

IYKYK - this is probably the best Peking Duck I've had in Houston in a long time. I've done Peking…read moreCuisine for years and shifted to Arco for my duck cravings, but if you're willing to drive out to Humble (pretty much anytime you're in the IAH area), you gotta check out Bamboo House for the best Peking duck. And their other menu items are fire as well! We went on a Sunday late evening. We had a 9 pm airport pickup at IAH so it was a perfect opportunity to grab a spectacular dinner and make the 30+ minute drive out to IAH totally worth it. Parking lot wasn't too full so that wasn't an issue. While the neighborhood ain't River Oaks luxury, it ain't too scary either. We kept it simple - ordered a whole duck and Bamboo House Special Noodle with Beef. This place ain't cheap but the food is worth every penny. It was very busy that evening so it's not a well-kept secret but also proves that eventually, Houstonians will figure out where the good food is. The duck was near perfect. They serve the duck with the pancakes (as opposed to the buns like at Arco) which is my preference. The soup that comes with it was also extremely flavorful. And the house special noodles with beef - oh my. I swear it's just one really long noodle so you may be frustrated trying to divvy up the family style bowl, but the labor is worth it. So good... Can't wait for my next airport run so I can sneak in a lunch or dinner at this place. So many other menu items I want to try!

I had previously visited the now closed Bamboo House on Westheimer and I remember being impressed by the food. I had to make an airport run and decided that it would be perfect timing to stop by this location. I highly recommend ordering the duck ahead of time, but we were lucky enough to snag one of the last ducks when we arrived around 7 pm on a Sunday evening. The waitress was super friendly and upbeat and the restaurant is older but well maintained. You can see where the food is being prepared/cooked and you can see ducks being cooked/warmed behind a glass window. The duck was absolutely spectacular with the perfect seasoned and tender meat accompanied by well rendered crispy skin. I love how the pancakes are paper thin and pair well with the scrumptious duck and other toppings. They also provide sugar and plum sauce as additional toppings which I thought was interesting but not my cup of tea. The duck soup was extremely flavorful and full bodied and went well with the duck. The noodles were also amazing with likely hand pulled noodles served with an abundance of tender beef and vegetables with a little Sichuan kick. I was intrigued by a strawberry chicken dish that I saw on the menu and I plan to try it the time. My diagnosis: hands down the best Peking duck in the greater Houston area!

UPDATE - lowering this to one star because both my wife and I got sick last night on this stuff!…read more So I walked into the restaurant thinking I'm going to get som amazing Asian food....as I entered the heat of the inside hit me - it was easily 78 degrees. That should've been my first sign when I walked in. It was hotter inside than it was outside. I picked up the menu looked at it for a hot second and then thought well. I'll just order something. So naturally, I said pad Thai, standard Asian meal. Not at this place they didn't have it and she looked at me strange. So I proceeded to look at the menu and found some random dish that looked decent and ordered. Then I ordered drinks and she told us after we had paid the soda had no carbonation in the machine so we could get the drinks out of the fridge. So we went and got the drinks out of the fridge, sat down open them up they both were flat. I suspect if I had checked the dates they were both expired, but I didn't bother. So we sat down and literally one minute later, the food came out... Which tells me that all the food was likely premade, and this was just a buffet that was hidden in the back. I ate, and it was well.... Let's just say the Woodlands Mall Asian foods a bit better than this stuff. Anyhow, I did encourage the team who works here to turn the AC down a little bit, make sure the fridge doesn't have expired drinks/flat drinks, make the food like they serve it to their family. I'll report back shortly and let you know if there are any biological effects of this food... All that for $45 - two dishes, two flat drinks, two rice.

No frills, but we like it. They're "basic" and Westernized but consistent. Tastes fresh, and that's…read morethe most important part. Reliably decent.

The woman who took the order over the phone and at the pick up counter wasn't very personable. Seemed as if she was rushing around although the restaurant wasn't at all busy inside. Perhaps just having a bad night? We ordered Chicken Lo Mein, General Tao's, Honey Walnut Chicken, crab puffs, and spring rolls -- portions for dishes were fairly standard, all of which were just ok regarding flavor and texture. General Tso's lacked spice and the texture of the chicken was gristly. Lo Mein was average tasting. Honey Walnut Chicken actually had more spice than the General Tso's... but regardless, was pretty bland. The crab puffs had hardly any cream cheese filling, and the ends of the fried pieces were hard and chewy which was disappointing. How can you screw up a crab puff? The best thing we ate were the spring rolls which were light and crispy paired with the sweet and sour sauce. We wanted to like this place, however, there are far superior Chinese restaurants in the area. I doubt we will try again.
