Back again and I decided to go with my son's favorite, an everything bagel with cheese , egg and scrapple; it was OK, but not overly impressive. It may have been because it was a call in and drive by pickup. Everything was soft. probably steamed inside the tightly wrapped foil package. I like my Bagels hard and my scrapple, crisp. I know I'll be back and then I'll order the pork roll version and unwrap it ASAP. Hope the third time will be the charm. read more

This small chain of bagel shops are authorized re-sellers of the legendary Stock Bakery pound cake. I promised to get one as per my family's request for our upcoming Thanksgiving gathering for just a handful of people. I called in advance and had one set aside for me to pick up a few days later. They were great when I specified a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. What I failed to ask was how much the pound cake cost. I mean, how much can a pound cake cost? Can't be more than $12. It's $17. And they did not mention that it came as a frozen brick straight out of the freezer. Good thing I picked it up the day before I needed it, but honestly, this kind of information would've been really helpful in advance. Sorry, no picture of the actual poundcake. So this place is actually called Beck's Bagels. It's as good as if not better than when it was Red House. Walked in on a Sunday morning didn't call ahead. The line was huge and I knew I was gonna be a while. Waited in line to put my order in about 3 minutes (way shorter than I thought I would) put my order in and made a cup of coffee. Considering how busy they were I figured it'd be about 20 minutes. So I make my coffee put the lid on and took a sip and they brought my order out. I even made sure it was for the right steve and it was. I was amazed. So I bring the stuff home. Opened up a big fat sesame bagel with lox cream cheese and tomato. It was awesome! Lots of everything on the bagel. The lox and tomato were fresh and you could taste it. They definitely gave me a fat guy portion of cream cheese which is much appreciated. My wife enjoyed her plain egg and cheese bagel as well but wasn't nearly as excited about hers as I was mine. (She's skinny). read more

FYI it seems like this location is closed during the COVID-19 situation. I've ordered from this location on two separate occasions through doordash and they've accepted both orders. The first order was cancelled by the restaurant and my second order this morning was accepted. The door dash driver arrived to the store and called me to say that they were closed and seemed closed for a while. I know these are really unprecedented times but if you're expecting to be closed, you should shut down your online ordering to stop people from ordering and then not getting their food. I love their bagels but when I order a dozen bagels and they don't arrive, it's extremely frustrating. read more

Normally my family has a great experience here; however, the past 2 times we have come our order has been messed up. The bagels are good but ordering a sandwich over the phone is a mistake. The bagel sandwiches were not toasted like requested and there was barely anything on my sandwich (which was also supposed to be an everything bagel). I am definitely going to try it again as they are the better bagels in the area; however, I will not order over the phone (which is the fastest way to do it so you can skip the line). read more

Some of the best hot bagels in New Jersey! I had the multi-grain everything bagel with cream cheese. They make their own on site. Make sure to ease yourself first. No public restrooms! Two highboys by the window if you eat in. Standard coffees. Cooler with tea, juice, soft drinks. Near Cooper Urgent Care. Look for the big blue Audubon Family Dentistry sign (white molar) in the tiny strip shopping center by the Verizon store. read more

Nothing says good morning like a fresh bakers dozen. My lovely wife and I came in here one morning to grab bagels to bring over her friends house. Nice little shop in here, nothing out of the ordinary. We timed it just right I guess , seeing the counter lady brought out fresh batches. Instant winner right there, a bag full of warm bagels and some different cream cheese spreads. The service was friendly , they asked what we would want, I told them I will leave it up to you. Why not , its not often you get a customer in there and tell them "surprise me", go crazy. Right off the bat she went for the freshest ones, I must say their everything and onion bagels are simply amazing. She gave us a great variety of bagels, and even threw in a free cream cheese spread (regular) for us. While they were doing their thing they had just brewed a fresh pot of coffee, a breakfast blend that we both had to get. I don't care if it is Maxwell House or Sanka (OK maybe I do if it is Sanka) something about a fresh pot with that enticing aroma just reels me . I love coffee, I am a coffee aficionado, iced or hot I am in like a fat kid to a cupcake, that and a fine craft. Redhouse Bagels also has a pretty good lineup of different sandwiches you can enjoy from breakfast (all day) to wraps. It may not be a big location, but their menu is. Even the people we brought the bagels to enjoyed them, smiles all across the board. I guess when they saw the bag with the Redhouse label on it they already knew this was going to be good. The establishment was clean, with a great group of workers in here. Service was fast, not too long of a wait , and the best part the bagels along with the coffee were fresh. I don't eat bagels often so I am not a bagel aficionado by any means........ This Redhouse bagel spot recently opened in a small strip mall. It's open for breakfast & lunch and they serve bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, juices, lunch wraps & salads. They don't seem to have the largest selection of bagels but they have the bagel varieties that I like (not a lot of square footage in this shop so they have to maximize space). I opted for a toasted 'Multi-grain Everything' breakfast bagel sandwich with ham, egg and cheese. The bagel had an ample amount of 'everything' on it, the bagel was moist, the cheese was melted perfectly...... for $3.25 ! They carry the smaller; 'Simply Orange' 13.5oz bottles of orange juice that I like. I haven't tried the coffee yet (looks like they carry the 'New England Coffee' brand). Called for 45 minutes and it kept going into phone mail. Took a ride down to the store and they wouldn't take my order but said keep calling to you get through, really. I never heard of a store turning down a sale, so much for supporting local businesses. They will never see me again. read more

I have been patiently awaiting for their Bellmawr, NJ location to open. I am originally from New York state and grew up on what bagels should taste like. It has been very difficult to find a REAL bagel in southern New Jersey; until now. I decided to try this location and find out for myself. At first glance The poppyseed, sesame seed, and everything bagels appeared under baked. (Very pale) The egg & plain looked right. I opted for an egg bagel with lox cream cheese spread. The bagel was soft inside with a nice chewy crust & was flavorful on its own! The lox spread was fresh & smooth with a good taste that was not salty & did not have an artificial salmon color. I enjoyed every bite of this delicious bagel. I will definitely look forward to other choices. read more

I've been coming here for a while. It is a bagel shop with a little extra. Most importantly, the bagels are excellent. I'm a huge fan of wheat bagels and theirs are the best. They also have very good cream cheese flavors, ranging from cheddar horseradish to cinnamon. Redhouse even offers a variety of sandwiches as well as their tuna and chicken salads to go. However, today I did order their home fries and found them to be a bit soggy...almost greasy. They were a mix of shredded potatoes and chopped potatoes which was not my favorite. The service here is usually pretty quick but if you are in a rush, call ahead so your order is ready when you come. Redhouse is not really the kind of place where you would sit down and eat as there is only one high top table. It is more for takeout. read more

We been meaning to try this place for a while so we got a couple bagel breakfast sandwiches. The initially had part of the order wrong, but they corrected it and there was no problem. It wasn't that crowded when I was there, but it is a small storefront. The two young women working were friendly enough, and the bagels were good, but not fantastic. I might try them again in the future, but personally I like the bagels in nearby Westmont/Haddon Township at Central Park Bagel. read more

All I can say about this place is "meh." I got breakfast here once and it was fine. My husband's breakfast sandwich was decent. I am spoiled by going to knead in Philly where they make their own delicious flavored cream cheese. I asked to sample the cheddar horseradish spread here and I am pretty sure it was just the type of pub cheese you'd buy in a tub at acme. While this place is fine, I think there are better options. read more

Redhouse Bagels has been my go-to since I moved to the area a year and a half ago. I don't eat bagels often, but when I do I know theirs are amazing. This morning sealed the deal for me -- I went in and the Eagles hype (go birds!) was palpable and everyone was in great spirits. I ordered a toasted everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, bacon, and egg. Everything is prepared fresh and so delicious. The bacon was perfectly crispy and they use real eggs unlike other shops who use the frozen patties. All around great shop with great employees. Thanks for being my local hangover cure! read more

Only thing I'm not a fan of is that ..I love cheese topped bagels like asiago and others and they're never here plus anytime I show up around 11 there are literarly 10 to 15 bagels left across all the toppings combined.... it literarly looks robbed. The bagels are fresh and the options are endless!!!!! I used to frequent Central Park bagel but they always use the same knife no matter the topping. Red house doesn't. Oh my LORD. Best bagel I've ever had in my life. Cheddar Jalapeño, toasted with butter. It tasted like the gods of dough heaven came down to kiss me on the mouth. A lazy day tradition for the wife and I. It's a short walk from our apartment, and we couldn't be happier. The service is always kind and attentive. The bagels of course are the shining star, feel free to try something out of your comfort zone everything there is great! If you wanted a more traditional breakfast, go for it! My suggestion is get the hashbrowns well done, with peppers and onions. The coffee is a serve yourself style, which is perfect for making your cuppa just right while your bagel is toasted. read more

There are 2 types of bagels Jewish and Presbyterian in our area it always seems to be the Presbyterian. but this all changed today. I didn't want to go over the bridge to get them. Great choice. I walked into the store and could smell Heaven and knew I was in the right spot Finally!!! We couldn't wait to get home. We bought the spreads oh the Strawberry is so real not like the local "bagel" shop around the corner from us, real chunks of Fresh strawberry. Great! Bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel was fantastic! Bagel was excellent, service was excellent. From the young girl to the lady who brought me my sandwich. Something to be said for service with a smile, where do you get that nowadays? New England coffee and a good selection of fruit juices and soda. Can't go wrong. Trying a local staple!…read more I came to the area to get my nails done, and one of the Yelp reviews mentioned Sharky's Bagels was a must try. I honestly don't know why they're 3.8 stars. Upon entry, it's rather small. You definitely want to order and leave. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on a super cinnamon raisin bagel and it was really good! Very hot and made fresh! And I didn't have to wait long. I definitely want to come back and try other options on their menu!

When ordering coffee, I'll let them know what I want (drip coffee) with whatever kind of milk (with heavy oat milk enough to change colour) and sweetener (with sugar please). Then you let them know any sides you want. I may or may not be saying it a bit quickly, because I'm half awake, and running on auto pilot, because I've lived in the Northeast for so long. The absolutely delightful lady behind the counter got it all recorded, fired, and sorted as and when it was coming out of my mouth. Confirmed everything, collected my payment, and we kept it pumping. As soon as the coffee was ready, called me over to grab it, because it was chilly and rainy while we waited. When one of the items I was ordering was taking a long time, the staff let me know that the item was taking a while longer than expected to finish cooking. My food came out perfectly done. Also, when they pass you your food, they confirm how many things you're ordering to make sure you get all your stuff. This operation is efficient, fast, and friendly. It's inexpensive for what you're getting. Coffee is excellent. Bagels have that snappy exterior, and chewy insides. Hash browns are crisp and piping hot. Coffee is rich and dark. Genuinely, you can't have any complaints when everything is done just right.
