Finally the person behind the bar came over to take our order. The food is delicious. I love when real corn beef is on the menu and not just on a Reuben. It's surprising that I haven't shared my thoughts about this place until now. The café, known as **Kismet**, serves Zeke Coffee--a Baltimore-based coffee roaster. YUM!! My kids and I come to Kismet every Sunday morning for the fresh bagels, delicious sandwiches and fresh juice. The bagels are great New York style bagels...so much better than the bread-like bagels sold at another place close by. The meat and vegetables on the sandwiches are fresh, crisp, just plain good. I have also ordered catering trays that come out beautifully. I love the family-friendly atmosphere the new owners have created. Its so nice to see kids from the community working behind the counter. Add in the great music and free wifi and this place will continue to be part of our Sunday morning routine. Keep up the good work! read more

Bagel was excellent. Soft, chewy, well seasoned, absolutely delicious. Cream cheese spread was also very tasty with a liberal helping, no skimping at all. However, the wait for a simple order of 2 bagels with cream cheese was ponderous. It shouldn't take 20 minutes for such a small simple order. I was a little confused to see an H & S Bakery truck bringing in a delivery while I was there so I'm not sure if they bake everything in the store. read more

Fresh as it gets! Kismet is my go to for breakfast, lunch, and the greatest spiced chai ever! Love the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff AND always love supporting a Mom & Pop shop! Would much rather wait a few seconds longer for my super fresh sandwich, made by someone who knows me by name, than be herded through the assembly line at the local chain.
