We finally tried KITA for my birthday dinner and I had very high expectations. It somehow managed to surpass them. We've always loved the apres at Pendry and were so excited to finally try KITA. The service was absolutely above and beyond. The entire team worked together so seamlessly. Our server Eddie was personable, welcoming, and gave fantastic recommendations. The manager Naomi also did a wonderful job checking in and making sure everything was perfect. You could really feel how well the whole team supported each other. The ambiance is upscale, modern, and chic, the perfect Park City dining vibe. Now for the food. The stuffed zucchini blossoms were incredibly light but full of flavor. The karaage was crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The veggie sushi roll was fresh and beautifully balanced. The jidori chicken was tender and juicy with a sweet sticky glaze and a delicious charred finish. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and topped with flaky salt. The mashed potatoes were creamy, rich, and topped with fresh truffles, and the cheesy corn had the most satisfying cheese pull and amazing flavor. The chocolate marquise was rich, creamy, and the perfect dessert. I loved that it wasn't too sweet or overpowering. It was the perfect dessert! Every dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and beautifully executed. KITA completely exceeded our expectations. Elegant, warm, and delicious in every way. We can't wait to go back.

Came here for dinner as we were staying at the Pendry. We were sat at the sushi bar but were not tended to for about 25 minutes. No one would make eye contact with us and when we were able to wave down someone two separate times, they said they were getting our waiter. Someone finally came and apologized for the miscommunication and said he'd take care of us the rest of the night. He took our order and handed our plates but never checked on us again. We were out of water and it took a long time for us to get our check. When we did get our bill, it was for the wrong table and was about double-triple the amount we were supposed to pay. The kitchen staff were super quick once they received our order. It was just unfortunate that the sushi chefs were right in front of us but didn't have anything to do and were just chatting with each other because the other staff members had to be the ones to take our order. Food was alright, very expensive for all the rolls to have a California roll base with additional things added on top. The next day we came for breakfast in the Pendry lounge but were re-directed back to Kita. The morning service was better but still had some hiccups. There was a tea and coffee bar for guests. I tried to make myself a tea but the hot water dispenser came out with quite a bit of pieces, it doesn't seem like they rinse the dispensers very well if I'm getting particles in my drink. I also got a piece of hair in my french toast. The overall experience and lack of service makes me want to never come back. We were so excited to try this place but it fell short.

Reservation March 1, 2026. Entire staff friendly and welcoming. Helpful and knowledgable of the menu. Excellent suggestions with details even down to getting teriyaki sauce on the side for the edamame. Attentive but not intrusive. Cute, classy, intimate vibes. We started with edamame, hot and salty. We shared the SSAM platter, the Delmonico steak. Cooked perfectly, came sliced with four sauces to try. So flavorful and tender. As a side we had the egg fried rice, which came with a fried egg literally on top of it so you can cut it up and watch the yolk spread out over the rice. Artful and delicious! They finished off the meal with a chocolate treat for my birthday. Upscale dining experience with the culinary flavors to back it up.

Great restaurant: A Japanese-Inspired Steakhouse & Mountain Grill. We were at The Pendry for a work event and I had dinner here twice. Beautifully designed with floor to ceiling windows, Kita shows well inside and out. Serving both steak and sushi, they get both right, which is rare. We started with the Tempura Squash Blossom and Hamachi Crudo. Both good. We followed with some nigiri including Toro, Sake and the star - Hotate Batayaki. I'd come back for the scallop by itself. We then had a salad course that was excellent - Shinto Pear and Endive. Finally, the steak. An excellent preparation of a 16 ounce American Wagyu Ribeye. Every side we had was great. Final shout out to Jack, the restaurant's bartender. A truly outstanding host after dinner. Great with the storytelling and great drinks. He apparently grew up in Texas like us, which might explain the connection. Don't hesitate to dine here and say hello to Jack.

I had a great time and experience at Kita. The food was really good. The sushi was surprisingly flavorful even though it didn't look like they added any extra seasoning. The staff was pretty new but everyone was friendly and helpful. The bar area is really nice and interactive as well.

oh my gosh this place was insane. Insanely good. Very upscale. Great atmosphere. (When it's warm I believe you can sit outside which is nice). Our server, Kristi was super nice, friendly, and helpful in recommending dishes/drinks and making sure we were happy with our meal. To start with got some sashimi which was super fresh and a nice sized portion. My dad got some Saki which he said was great and I got a glass of which (recommended by Kristi). Then for our meals I got the sea bass which was insane and the Japanese sweet potato. Both were the best I've ever had. The sea bass is just the fish, so I would definitely recommend ordering a side. My dad got the bison fillet and mushroom side which he said was "awesome". It was truly so good. Then for desert we got the baked cheesecake which was sooo good. And they give you complementary cotton candy which was funny and awesome. This was our favorite meal on our trip to Park City and would absolutely recommend and return back. 11/10

My husband and I came last night thinking we weren't that hungry. I dare say this was the best sushi and service I've had ever. We had the tuna special nigiri, tuna belly nigiri, salmon carpaccio, fried rice, sake and the cheesecake. We sat at the sushi bar and loved talking with the chefs. Our waiter was Jack and honestly I think it was the best service I have ever had!! We're excited to come back.

Came here for a solo breakie while bae was attending a conference. Ordered a hazelnut cappuccino, smoked salmon toast, side of bacon to dine in. Then ordered a green smoothie and another cappuccino to go. $8 Hazelnut cap: Good but don't expect a strong espresso flavor. $26 Smoked salmon toast: The toast was in fact actually on a bagel. There was also no dill or capers. Not a big deal but kind of misleading to have the name and ingredients presented one way and for it to come out another ... $9 Smoked bacon: Pretty good. Would have been better if I had hot sauce but wasn't able to flag down any server. $12 Green smoothie: Fine but a bit too sweet. $70 total with a $13 tip = $83 Overall it was an okay experience. After the food was brought out, my server didn't check in on me until 30 minutes later and by that time I was ready for my check. The restaurant wasn't packed but servers seemed confused and overwhelmed with other tables. I expected the pricey check but was underwhelmed by the food and service. -Sailor out

Not the best and not the worst experience. The service was friendly and attentive and the restaurant has a good vibe. If you are going to look at the price of the food, then you should just not go here. Yes it is overpriced, so the food had best stand up to high expectations. And it does not. The octopus had the wood grilled smell and flavor but not the char and was a little mushy. The sushi was just ok. I did not like the texture or taste of the rice but my son did. The fish tasted fresh but the serving sizes were all on the small side. The Bavette and sirloin were both not cooked as requested (med rare and med came out medium+). The Bavette was chewy. The NY Strip had the best texture and taste. The wine list was full of wines over $100. I saw another table bring their own wine and was jealous. Opentable showed the place as sold out, but when we got there it was 50% full and it stayed that way the rest of the night. I suggest calling the restaurant to see if the have tables.

Significant volume difference in other rooms. The large room sounded like a cafeteria. - Wine glass was dirty. - half of us tried the halibut (the signature dish) and it should have a macadamia nut crust but it was more a macadamia nut mush. It wasn't crusty which would have been really nice. The halibut itself was cooked very well. Only half of the group truly loved their food. Notes: If you get horseradish on the oysters it is STRONG hr - just beware before you pile it on.

They were not; they were actually 50% or more higher at the restaurant. The hamburger that was showing on Yelp for $15 was actually $22. The Steak Frites advertised for $22 were $35. I understand inflation, but this was a gross enough difference that it borders on deception, in my opinion. I also had a bad experience with my food: I ordered a cup of their chili (which they claim is made from scratch, on-site) and it was brought to the table cold. Like, "right out of a can" cold. Kelsi, our fantastic server, returned it to the kitchen where (I presume) they nuked it and brought it back. It was heated, but not very tasty. Flat; under-seasoned; mushy textured. Definitely something I'd never order again. Many reviews say the atmosphere is "loud" but what they mean is, it's "LOUD". We were seated inside, and it was nearly impossible for the three of us to converse. The acoustics are not great. Enough cons; how about some pros? My burger was FANTASTIC! piled high with caramelized onions and pastrami, but beef patty tasted like it'd just come off a charcoal grill. Terrific flavor in every bite. (The parmesan fries were tasty, too, but a little on the soggy side.) My dining partners each had a salad (one 'wedge' and one 'beetroot') and both were well-prepared and generously portioned. And, finally, the staff, the location, the vibe: All really first-rate. I'll probably come back, if I ever recover from the bait'n'switch sticker shock. (But I'll steer clear of the chili and opt to dine on the patio, if that's available!)

The ambiance was timeless farmhouse meets upscale fine dining. Our waitress Simona was excellent. She guided us through the just-released summer 2026 menu. The two page menu had an a la carte page and a tasting menu page. We opted to do a la carte. What we ordered: Artisan Bread for the table first course: Smoked Trout Toast + Yellow Tail Carpaccio second course: Burrata & Prosciutto third course: Bavette dessert: Goat Cheesecake + drinks: Carajillo + Espresso Martini I don't even know where to begin or what was my favorite. Everything was so flavorful and plates were so thoughtfully designed. My hubby's favorite was the smoked trout toast. The Bavette (steak) we both equally loved. The yellow tail carpaccio may have been my favorite. But the burrata and prosciutto was so unexpectedly a top contender too. And then that goat cheesecake was the perfect way to end the experience. And the bread... locally made and paired with house made butter... definitely need to add this to your meal! The only problem was that I wanted to order everything on the menu but my stomach and wallet told me otherwise LOL I want to fly back to Park City just to eat here again!
