Great hipster bar. Total good vibe. Pool table x 4. Good rock music. They serve food sometimes. It's ok to go get Carl's Jr and bring it in. Good prices

I work 3rd shift so I get off work at 8am. Sometimes you need a bar that opens up early in the AM to serve you a drink without judging you. This place was perfect to end your night or start it. Simply put: Cheap drinks Clean environment I'm drunk

So second time here and everything was cool. It is a dive bar so as the saying goes "it is what it is". Good crowd all locals there for a liquid breakfast so to speak. I had a tasty greyhound and a shot of George Clooney Tequila which wasn't bad. Bartender was very friendly and nice. And hoped to see me again which was nice of her to say. So on that note I'll be back.

Kit's Place is the type of bar where you'll probably decide very quickly whether or not it's for you: - I mentioned to the bartender that it was my wife's birthday, and her drink was on the house. She also got her name on the birthday board. Cheers! - I got a Sierra Nevada for myself. It was probably the best beer that they had. - There is literally a hole in the wall between Kit's and Angel's Pizzeria, where you can place food orders. Check out the extensive menu before you go: http://angelspizzeriaca.com/ - They also seem to serve their own food, or at least they used to. - They have a number of different drink specials throughout the week. I took a picture of my favorite one ($5 pitchers of Coors Light, everyday, 6-10 am). I don't know if it's a standard-sized pitcher. - Four pool tables. - Jukebox featuring some good classic rock. - We heard from a secondary source that a fight broke out here after we left. I'll see if I can verify this. Maybe I'll return on my birthday?

We were nervous at first because of the sign but it ended up being really nice! Cute bar, great service with multiple pool tables. Clientele seems friendly and it's reasonably priced :) The kitchen is kinda strange, they don't serve a full menu or any appetizer type things, just fried chicken and mashed potatoes...

Perfect dive bar, pool tables, touch tunes juke box, stiff drinks, full bar, food was amazing thanks to Chef Gabby! My first time getting food last call. Ordered it to go and man when we ate the steak, mash potatoes, asparagus, & lemon tart cake with raspberry's and whip cream. We were blown away! So delicious! $16 meal! Gabby you're the best! Thank you for making our night with you're yummy food Happy Valentine's Day!

Cool hidden gem off of Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach. Wife and I have gone a couple of times when we are in the area. Usually on a lazy Saturday afternoon. 2 pool tables, darts, and a happy bartender always ready to serve you with a smile. Clientele is strictly locals, it's a comfortable hangout just a ways from the mess that Beach Blvd can be. Cool little thing, there is an Italian take-out spot directly nexy door. They have an opening in the wall between the two businesses. When you order your monster-size calzone and then go to the bar, the big window opens, and they hand you the food STRAIGHT OUT OF THE OVEN. What could be better? Well, the ice cold beer that goes with it while you are both shooting pool of course!! The pool I think was 3 bucks an hour that day? In any case, we somehow ended up playing for free anyway, so that was doubly awesome. Classic rock on the jukebox, unassuming, non-threatening folks around the bar; Kit's is a pretty good little spot to kick back and kill an hour and a half!!

Best place on a Friday or Saturday night especially when Amanda is there. She gives the best service! I love the fact that she's very attentive to the bar and also aware of the crowd. She has a really great personality and knows how to give great customer service. If I open up a bar I would definitely hire her as my right hand to run the bar. Thank you for such great customer service! Me and my boyfriend live close by and we will definitely be back!

Kits... Initially I was thinking 4 stars but I just can't find a reason to withhold one. I like to stop by on Fridays when they have the mobile car wash outside. The car washers are no joke! They charged me $15 to wash my pickup and it was more than worth every penny. They made my 12 year old pickup look new! Sadly I only have before photos. I'll try to get before and after next time. Quick summary: Dive bar! Cheap strong drinks, 4 decent pool tables at 75 cents per game, and generally good people. Equipped with a juke box which is compatible with the touch tunes app. Just know your environment. This is not the downtown HB vibe. If your favorite bar is sharkeez, stay away. Kits is a refreshing change from the bars downtown. It has a salty locals type of vibe. The crowd is a bit older and diverse, but with that said I have rarely had an issue with anybody there (the one small issue I did have was with a league pool player who I have never seen there when there was no league play). The staff has always been nice. They are always ready and willing to chat it up if it is slow enough. They have a hole in the wall connecting them to the pizza place next door. Pretty cool! Both the pizza/Italian food and the bar food is pretty good. Drinks are strong and the price is right. For $6 you can get a small pitcher (of Stella - other beers may vary) which must be 32-34 oz because it fills 2 pints and a little more to spare. Apparently full size pitchers are an even better deal. So... 2 thumbs up. Check out kits. Maybe I'll see you there.

Can't beat the location right on the beach. Our server, Paris, was excellent as was the food. Highly recommend if you are in Hermosa Beach!

They have a good number of pool tables, with the bigger ones running just $1.25 per game and the smaller ones only $1. That's genuinely affordable compared to most places these days, making it easy to rack up multiple games without breaking the bank. The draft beer selection is solid too -- nothing overly fancy, but a nice variety of reliable options that hit the spot when you're focused on shooting pool. My only real gripe is the pay-to-play jukebox. When no one feeds it money, the place stays completely quiet, which can feel a little flat for a bar atmosphere. It's a minor annoyance that could be fixed with some background music on a house system, but it didn't ruin the night. Overall, this is a great casual hangout if you're in the area and want to play some pool while enjoying a cold beer with friends (or solo). It has that laid-back local vibe that keeps you coming back. I'd definitely recommend stopping in, especially if you're looking for an unpretentious, budget-friendly pool night. Would return -- just maybe bring some quarters for the jukebox if you want tunes!
