Stepping inside did feel surreal--like I was stepping back in time to high school/college days and also back to a small neighborhood arcade in Japan (or of niche arcades you'd only find in the SGV). The games are a mix of fighters, shmups, and other head to head games as well as a music rhythm game in the corner where players slap or swipe various parts of a ring in accordance to on screen instructions (and the machine was never empty). There's also a mix of Gatchapon machines. The machines seem in decent condition though I never know if it's me or the machine when I struggle with left and right controls. I think decade of using a d-pad and not a joystick have left my arcade skills wanting. Regardless, your can tell the owner takes pride in creating an environment that caters to gamers who love and are nostalgic for game of yesterday. You pay for games on a card which disguises the fact that games cost roughly a dollar per play (as opposed to a quarter), but that's inflation. Plus if you want to play in an arcade vs home, that's the price of admission and the games at D&B or Round 1 aren't a quarter either and this place is much closer to home. Combine the fact that it's surround by good food, 2nd loop makes for an easy choice for dropping in for quick games and grub. Parking in this plaza used to be easy (a decade ago when SSG Yakitori was the only thing happening here) but it seems that over the last few years, newer business have helped to fill the parking lot such that street parking may be required. Now that I know this place exists, I'll be dropping by more. :)

He spent time helping the kids, teaching them how to play different games, and making sure everyone felt included and had fun. His enthusiasm and patience really made the experience special. The arcade itself is amazing, with something for everyone--PlayStation, Nintendo, retro arcade classics, Guitar Hero, VR experiences, and so much more. The variety kept the kids entertained for hours, and even the adults found themselves jumping into the fun! Sophie took great care of us not only leading up to the event, but during our event as well. We had food catered from Dilly D (they deliver too!) and all the staff made us feel welcome. The staff were attentive to our entire group, never rushed us out, and they offered to clean up for us by the end. As far as the venue itself, there are sooo many games/stations and VR sets to choose from. The entire staff was also great with the kids, so naturally no kid wants to leave this place LOL. We had my son's 11th birthday celebration here. 2 hours of unlimited play for 10 players (extra cost for additional players). 2 large tables. A huge birthday sign with my son's name on the big screen. A party host that will guide you and your party through party photos, birthday song and even 1 favorite song picked by the birthday celebrant for the cool lit dance floor. They also have an option for a loud confetti machine that goes off after the birthday song which is a great surprise for the kids. This is all coordinated with Sophie via email. Shout out to Sophie, who also was our party host! She's just as awesome as this place is! Planning was so easy because of her. Even the pre-party questionnaire thought of everything. You bring your own food/drinks for your guests (we opted for Costco finger foods to be easy). They supply paper plates, napkins, tongs and serving spoons. They also supply the 10 players cold drinks. Most importantly, they clean up after you. We currently have the X-pass (unlimited play) for both boys and are utilizing it to the fullest. We are here at least once a week for a few hours. We even take a break to bring in our lunch from Dilly's to eat at their large tables/benches. So convenient for wfh parents like me. I can connect to their guest WiFi and even plug my laptop on a nearby floor outlet. They have their own bathrooms. The entire place is big, well kept and clean. Lots of VR games to choose from. Additional games to choose from (not just VR). The equipment, chairs and benches are luxe and comfortable. The workers here are awesome, attentive and friendly. We love it here!
