We came here after a nice dinner and were ready to take in another fun experience! The system was partially down, so we had to pay cash. We mainly walked around and watched others in order to stay within our budget, but we did have friendly competitions throughout our time there. We played a few games including Pac-Man and Beer Pong, which took up most of our playing time. It was a blast and I think we would have continued to play if we had more time that night! If we had to choose which games to play forever, these two would probably be very strong candidates. I played Pac-Man for many years whenever I went to an arcade, especially at a D&B's and beer pong was a college and party staple, so it was cool to see it in the form of an arcade game. We come here often, and usually it's pretty good service. My family and I came here yesterday in the afternoon to have some family time before school starts and as we're eating our meals, there's a group of people doing a scavenger hunt. No big deal right? Wrong. As we're trying to enjoy our meal, a group of these people are standing near us (we were at the table seats near the bar) and a waiter who wasn't assisting us at all grabs a menu from our table and passes it to the group of people doing the scavenger hunt. The waiter didn't ask us "hey, do you mind if take a menu off your table" or even acknowledge us whatsoever. And interestingly enough the manager on duty was actually "serving" us but took a whole to come to the table to get our order started, asked if we were only one time, then we continued to wait after we're done eating to try and get the check so we can play game. I mentioned to the manger on duty what took place. However, my issue how inconsiderate of the waiter to removed a menu from our table as if we didn't want anything else, or we just went there. We spent over $100 to eat, have a drink and play games. It's sadly just plain suck. We have to pay for parking, then get treated like invaluable costumers. We don't own the menu, it was just rude to take something from our table and pass it to a group just so they can complete a scavenger hunt. Wild. Other people from that group were able to get what they needed from a table that was empty so others wouldn't be bothered. We've had some good memories here's, celebrated a birthday but that was totally inconsiderate to us. We're human too and also important guest spending our hard earned money to enjoy time together. Arias was a phenomenal employee when things were down at DnB. He assisted me with any issues I had with the games during the outage. I genuinely had so much fun because he took the time, effort, and checked up on us as if he was determined for us to have fun on a simple weekday. All the games looked clean and while the AC was not working at the time it was understandable. It's a fun arcade as always and it accommodates to all types of audiences. Food is consistent like most DnB so I can't complain there with the amt of times I've gone to DnB but this specific location made a difference. When we arrived to set up our party, the floor was covered in soda, peppered with french fries and a grape. The place settings for 10 was ready to go, but the surrounding tables that were to hold our food were dirty. One table in particular was covered in soda dispensers, soda all over the table, and chairs. It took me nearly 40 minutes to get the area presentable. Where in the heck is everyone? I paid for a party, but I have to walk to track down any help I need. Almost 1k dropped for this event and nobody knew what the others were doing. The guy with the mop used his hands to pick up food off the ground, in stead of a broom and dust pan. Honestly if you had picked all the food up, I wouldn't mind this, but because you didn't use the tools, you had to come back 3 different times. Our personal manager, because I guess each party has one, gave us the wrong information about the game cards. Telling us they were good for all day, instead of the truth which is they were good for the two hours our party lasted. We decided to stay longer because of this, only to find out after spending more money on drinks that our kids game cards stopped. I didn't do my due diligence prior to booking here, but after reading them prior to leaving mine, this is all my fault. The food was good. Everyone was kind, but over worked. I left after a while I am not old but it was like overstimulating. I saw and watched the game. The kids went on for hours I think the draw is the games kids love it. Came here with a friend to reclaim our youth for a few hrs and headed straight to their massive arcade section, which is located in what seems like afootball field away from the entrance itself. Lol This review is strictly for the arcade section of this D&B location, and it is quite impressive. Once you arrive toward "the back" of this location, you are bombarded (somewhat pleasantly) with a littany of both old and new variations of games from yesteryear-and many that I had no idea existed. The location itself is fine, just be aware of the high parking fees. Unfortunately I've had a disappointing run of events and am already regretting having my son's birthday party here. The first was for the Santa event - we're the only family that bought tickets so we were asked if we could reschedule for the day after. No problem...Then comes the NYE's party. Bought tickets, only to show up and be told that was an error on the website, and there actually is no event. The manager was rude and not willing to do anything. He also made us wait so long for him to appear that the free parking window (at that time it was 30 minutes) was over. As for my son's birthday party, which is this weekend, so far Carolina has been very slow to respond, if at all. On top of that, she's not clear when communicating and we're left asking 5 times more questions just to try and figure out the answer. I'm not sure if this is a corporate tactic or she just doesn't want to talk to us. We're asking about food options and it's like pulling teeth. We dropped into Dave & Buster's to watch Sunday morning football before heading down to the pier, and this was the biggest D&B I've ever been in! The restaurant side takes up one half of the building, and then you walk through a hallway that leads to the party rooms and all the games. I was highly impressed with the atmosphere, vibe, and overall setup by far the best one yet! We stopped in for well drinks and some food while watching the games. Those Jell-O shots and shots definitely went down! I also had a Perfect Pink Patrón Rita, which was to die for. We ordered the lemon pepper and spicy Korean wings both were really good and officially my top two favorites. Our friends ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread pizza and said it was delicious. Founded in 1982 as a place for adults to enjoy adult beverages and play the latest arcade games, Dave and Buster's has been a place I've frequented since my first visit to the Dallas location in 1995. A wife's good high school friend was in town for work, so decided to meet at this location to cheer on our favorite NFL team, while enjoying lunch. It ended up being a good experience (really helped that our team pulled out a victory at the very end with a blocked kick). It is located in HHLA, so parked in the paid parking lot of the shopping center. It's an easy outdoor walk street level to the entrance. Our friend had already found a table near the bar with clear visibility to a bank of TVs. Our server came over soon after, and with the game-day specials, were able to order a variety of dishes with real good value. Both house margaritas (nicely made) and 22 oz Bud lights were $5, so kept that moving. Buffalo wings were $1 a piece (10 for 10), and the classic buffalo and spicy korean flavors were solid. The side of green beans ($4.99) was inspirational as bar food, but not very good (used frozen very skinny green beans). We also got a side of fries ($5.49), greasy and not great but good enough to accompany the alcohol. Service was great throughout. It is a very large indoor area, divided into the adult bar area and the arcade area. The bathrooms are only located in the arcade area, so had a chance to walk through. This location definitely caters to kids playing in the arcade area: loud and chaotic. I'm sure the atmosphere changes dramatically later into the night, but during a Sunday afternoon, it was definitely giving off major ChuckECheese vibes. read more

This place has bad TVs for a sports viewing place. All the advertisements on TV show live sports on TV. But the TVs stink and are smallish and have bad resolution and detail. Time to invest in new TVs and place them bigger and lower. Only the pool area has good viewing. The servers are mostly nice but service is super slow recently. We have had the worst experience at Dave & Busters today. They literally had two workers handing over 100 people, we waited over 45 minutes for our food. They were way understaffed to say the least. Our kids weren't able to pay the games because there was so much confusion around the playing cards. They upsold us on the playing cards and the kids weren't truly able to enjoy all of the games. There were time limits on how the kids can use the games. This was truly an expensive horrific experience that shouldn't have been this. Hiring more staff shouldn't be a problem nor an inconvenience for ownership. This place was packed nonstop and everyone is waiting and frustrated with their children. read more

This review is only for the restaurant. The arcade games are fine. At this location you must give your server your credit card to hold onto before you order your food. So they are walking around the restaurant with several credit cards in their pouch! This is wrong on so many levels! Apparently, they have had a problem with customers just walking out and not paying. Sorry, but exposing my credit card to fraud is not the solution. This is a chain so I'm comparing it to other D&B's and not other restaurants/entertainment venues. This D&B is located in the Howard Hughes Center next to the 405S. Parking is not free. They do not validate parking. Street parking is not an option. The parking structure is a maze with tight parking spots. Be prepared to get a ding because someone isn't being careful or considerate. I've been to this location multiple of times. The arcade is okay. Food is basic fried bar food and some things kids may like. There is nothing special about the food. They have a bar area with a couple of pool tables. I've seen people host game viewing events, which can get really rowdy. Drinks are typical wells, beer, and mix drinks. Wine isn't their thing but they have the bare basic. People do not come here for the food or drinks. It's mainly for the arcade or watching a game. With that said, when the place is packed, the staff is overwhelmed and most likely not able to keep the place clean or pay as much attention as normal. The service here was far below subpar. Arrived around 5:45 on a Wednesday afternoon, Game 3 of the NBA finals, and in the midst of graduations all over the city. I decided to pull up to play some games and have some food with my kid, upon being greeted the hostess tells me about a play and eat combo they have (it's been years since I've just been to Dave & Busters on my own.) The deal is not bad, you get to choose from different tiers or points to play with and included with is a meal from a limited menu. I say bet let's do it, and the hostess tells me I have to be seated and eat first to get the deal....you coulda mentioned that dude. So I go to the get seated and I'm told it's a 30-40 minute wait and that we could still play first and then just show our server the receipt once seated. So we play as we wait, it took the entire 30 minutes..cool not trippin' mind you it's NOT busy busy' in here for it to be as slow as it was. We sit down and for 40 minutes no one comes over to ask us for our order. I address this with the hostess and she tells me "oh he may not have seen you since you were in the corner." WHATTTT?! We go back to our seats and 15 more minutes pass before our waiter comes over, he claims they're under staffed and I shouldn't have been seated in that specific area...not my problem. He doesn't offer any type of discount or additional deal for our troubles, just takes our order and keeps it pushin'. My daughter's order comes out almost immediately..then I'm told the other orders may be a while because the kitchen is backed up....okay again not my problem move it to the front. My order comes out within 5-10minutes, I ordered boneless wings, fries, guacamole and a Caesar salad, my daughter ordered a cheese pizza and a side of fries. May wings came and they were cold but at this point I'm just happy to be eating....once I'm done with my wings and guacamole I realize my salad and my daughters side order of fries never came out so I ask our waiter and he says, "actually those orders never made it to the kitchen." This is my closest Dave and busters location. I have come here many times and even threw my son a birthday party here about 4 years ago. The food was good , but the service lacked, we waited about 30 minutes today after sitting to order our food and then another 15 minutes for me, my son, my daughter to get our food. Then about 10 minutes after that my husband got his food. We were at the table from about 1:30pm to 3pm and the last few minute, my husband rushed to finish his food so we can go complete other errands. It was just a disaster from the start. The place was not too full yet and the food was good.
