When animal control finally got him off the streets earlier this year, it was hard to tell that there was even a dog hidden inside all that fur! I can only imagine how stressful the initial necessary shelter grooming session must have been for my poor little guy! Knowing all this when I adopted him, I was very committed to finding him the very best groomer for his new life going forward. After reading all these great reviews I decided to give Sunny Days a try and I was quickly scheduled with Desiree. His first session was wonderful. Desiree was right on time as expected, communication was impeccable, charges were fair and very competitive, payment was easy afterward, Desiree is super sweet, and Kenny Wayne looked like the rockstar that he is!!! Afterward I quickly got him on her schedule for groom #2 which took place yesterday and it went even better which I honestly didn't think was possible. Desiree really cares about building trusting relationships with her fur clients and it shows! I'm so happy with her service that I'm now hoping to get on her coveted recurring yearly schedule. Kathy took exceptional care of my cats Bo and Snowball last year while I was out of state for a…read moremonth. Bo is typically shy and hides in the closet but he took to her, left the closet and regularly interacted with her. She went out of her way to spend quality time with them daily. Her communication is excellent and she provided daily updates with pictures. Bo got sick while I was away, she took him to the vet and called me so I could speak with the vet for the entirety of the visit and know exactly what was going on. Afterwards she spent additional time with him daily to make sure he was improving and doing well. He doesn't like taking medication and she immediately took the initiative to buy meat to ensure he took the full course of his medication. Kathy was the only one I trusted to take care of my cats in my absence and she is still the only one I'd trust. A 5 star review doesn't give justice for everything she did and if I could I'd rate her higher.

Short version: Excellent, would use again!…read more Long version: I have never used pet boarding before, I was always able to rope a family member into taking care of our dog. This time, though, we have a rambunctious 5 mo. old puppy who is just too much for my mother-in-law. I did some research and found Heartstrings on Yelp with great reviews. I took a tour of the facility and was very pleased with the cleanliness and the staff. I liked the fact that the boarded dogs were given time in the play yard (supervised) every day and that they posted the dog pictures on Facebook. Our rambunctious puppy is also very fearful and nervous around new people and situations. I was worried how she would do. I called the resort a couple days into her stay and they said she was shy at first but had started to come out of her shell and was enjoying her time with the other dogs. One thing I really appreciate is they understood that our pup was shy and they worked to put her with other dogs who were well suited for her temperament so she didn't get traumatized by the other dogs. I would definitely use Heartstrings again for boarding and we will also be using their daycare services as well.

I couldn't say enough positive things about Kristen and the staff, truly wonderful. I think we had a night to remember.. but she was truly great and handled it well and it was a night I won't forget.. or tuxedo! Cost $300 which was a little steep, I probably couldn't afford to do it again but if they relooked at their prices I would recommend this to everyone! I guess you could have people chip in which would make it more doable.

You pay the bill and hope everything turns ok. You walk away more confused than when you went in. Not this time with Copper Mountain! And FINALLY! Took my GS in for a second opinion on his back leg limp expecting hips dysplasia/surgery options in excess of 6K. I was more worried about what the dog would have to endure then anything. I was stressed and thinking bad thoughts for weeks. Vet tech comes in takes my info and asks all the right questions, spends time with me and takes notes. I wish I remembered her name she was an amazing girl. She leaves the room and I wait as usual. Both the Tech and the Vet (Sarah) came into the room, review my dog's info and for the first time EVER in all my years owning dogs they both got on the floor with my dog and examined him. Both of them! Not leaning over the dog on one knee actually had him between them both on the floor examining him. Both of them! I was blown away! Sarah spent more time (examining) his hips, knees and legs, listing to his vitals than I've ever personnel experienced before with other vets. Sarah's clinic summary that she provided me before I left the clinic detailed my best options, short term and long-term goals for my GS. I was given options and suggestions for the best care for my dog. I wasn't told what to do or given a handful of meds to make me go away. I left feeling someone actually cared for me and my dog. Other things of note: there are separate entrances for dogs and cats, both buildings equipped with wall plug ins that release calming pheromones for the animals.
