We arrived in time to choose from an indoor booth or outdoor sidewalk table. It was a hot morning, even at 10:30 am but the indoor area was so loud due to the music and crowded restaurant. It is very popular. The music was great but we couldn't talk or order from the counter without screaming so we ate outdoors mostly sweat. The menu had great choices. You could find it online Or on the chalkboard and you order at the counter, they bring your food to the table. We ordered a variety , BLT, Roasted Turkey sandwich, breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a regular breakfast with eggs, toast, sausage and home fries. Everyone loved their meals and it came out timely. Parking was free and prices were very fair. I will definitely return but not for a Sunday brunch! Way too loud for us old girls!!!

The instructions said go to the register and give the name. My 71-year-old mother drove out of her way to collect it. When she arrived, they had already given our food to an Uber driver. She showed them the pickup screenshot. They still blew her off. Then staff, management, and owner Quentin treated her like she was stupid. She was correct. Takeout means pickup, not delivery. They argued that word with her anyway. This went on in person for over 40 minutes. I asked them, more than once, to do the basic right thing: remake the food we paid for or refund it before she left. They refused both. They talked down to her the entire time. After that, the other owner, Yves, did not apologize. He lectured us about respect. They later admitted they handed our sandwiches to the Uber driver. They still have not refunded the order. I will never step foot in this restaurant again. Go somewhere that knows what takeout means and does not treat a 71-year-old customer like she is the problem after they give her food away.

We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.

I've been to Kixi many times for brunch and for that I would leave them a 4-5 star review. This review is specifically about their afternoon tea. The good: The cute atmosphere and the cute tea cups and pots. The Bad: From start to finish the experience was not good. When we arrived for tea their staff was not ready to host us even though we had made a reservation, as recommended on the website. We originally had asked to sit inside, since we are drinking hot tea. But when we arrived we were told a seat inside would require a 15-minute wait. That defeats the purpose of the reservation. So we ended up sitting outside. Upon sitting us, the staff forgot to bring us napkins, cutlery, and sugar/sweetners. We had to ask for all of it. They also were out of several of their tea options when we went. They already don't have a large selection, so this was really disappointing. Then for the food. It made no sense for tea and felt like it was just a mix of whatever finger foods they had lying around. The first, base tier has two types of nearly identical salmon and cream-cheese sandwiches and some skewers of chicken and waffles. The only noticeable difference between the two sandwiches is that one had thin slices of cucumbers and the other didn't. Very boring. The second tier, had some falafel balls, little springrolls and slices of baklava. Along with some sauce for you to dip the spring rolls into. The top tier, had these little rolls of baklava, a few macarons, and some skewers of fruit. I should also mention that in terms of the amount of food, there was exactly one of each item for each person. While this isn't entirely uncommon, it is always nice when places give people two of something. Whether it's two scones, which Kixi didn't have at all, or even a few more macarons since they only had one of each flavor. Overall, their food selection felt extremely lazy and disappointing. Not worth the $28 per person. While I'd argue Florida as a whole doesn't have a good high tea/afternoon tea scene, this was the most disappointing place I've been to so far. It really felt like they did zero research on what a proper afternoon tea should be. Or at the very least they should clearly label it as "non-traditional afternoon tea" on their menu. read more

I've had the pleasure of visiting this place around 3 times now, and let me tell you, it never disappoints! Don't let the exterior fool you because this spot is a treasure trove of delicious food and warm hospitality. During my visits, I've had the fried chicken benny, the burrata avocado toast, and the salmon benny. Each dish was delicious! But let me talk about my absolute favorites--the Biscotti latte and the soufflé pancakes. Trust me when I say, they are worth every minute of the 30-40 minute wait. The fluffy, cloud-like pancakes are a sheer delight, and that latte, iconic! Overall, this place has become a staple in my brunch rotation. I had a wonderful experience at Kixi Cafe! The food was delicious, and the presentation was stunning. Their high tea offerings are some of the best I've tried. However, the pancakes didn't quite live up to the hype; they were just okay, and the texture felt a bit undercooked. I'm undecided about trying them again for consistency. Overall, the food, drinks, service, and ambiance were great, though a bit pricey. The only disappointment was the soufflé pancakes. Having tried them in various places, including Japan, I was expecting the ultra-fluffy, light, and jiggly texture they're known for.
