    Turtle roll
    Katie N.

Decided to stop in as they are on the Hilton Dining program list. We got there as soon as they opened. The inside is super cute. The sushi rolls range in price, but I appreciated they had both basic and more fancy rolls. After seeing previous reviews on the turtle roll, I decided to try it. Our server seemed a little nervous, but she was friendly. I didn't get dessert on my visit, but there is an a descent size dessert menu.

Really cute and aesthetically pleasing inside. Our waiter was super friendly and informative. We started with the edamame and pork rumblings--both were really good, though some of the edamame pieces were saltier than others. For my main, I had the spicy salmon lettuce wrap. The ingredients were super fresh, but it felt like it was missing a little something flavor-wise--soy sauce helped. Definitely want to come back to try their desserts!

Dinner was a chirashi bowl and tempura vegetable roll. Great value for the quality. Friendly folk, plenty of indoor and outside seating and convenient parking.

We wanted to try some place new for sushi and, according to google, Kizuna seemed to be the place to try. I called the night before to make reservations for two. We came on a Saturday night, and the place was pretty empty. We could have easily shown up reservation-less without much of a wait. We tried a few different rolls: pink flower, dynamite, and the ocean vinaigrette. They were all good and very unique!

FOOD: portions are great and the food tastes FANTASTIC Recommendations: -Popcorn Shrimp -Spicy Miso soup -Zesty Islander Roll -Fiesta Roll -Crispy Rice The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and is very clean. The servers and staff are all very kind! Overall 10/10 I definitely recommend! Worth my 30 minutes drive here. May the Lord continue to bless this business and staff

Took the kids out for some sushi rolls. Delicious rolls for all of us! Staff are so friendly and nice. Got $200 gift cart for additional $40 value. Old style gift card but not a matter for us. We'll come back for some more rolls very soon!

Our new favorite sushi place . Fresh ! Tasty , great presentation , lots of choices with raw fish what we like . Such attentive customer service . I see many customers do take out , we enjoyed dine - in . Favorite rolls - Medusa , Salmon mania , Black monster and more . Also Lucky Buddha beer , ask for a bottle ! The only thing I would recommend is to play calm music , more like other Japanese restaurants play instead of a club music . Cheers !

The food was pretty good! We started with the shumai which came with a delicious spicy sauce. Our rolls were all pretty good, with our favorite being the turtle roll. The spider roll was probably my second favorite after that. The only thing we didn't love was our rolls came out in waves instead of all together which was kind of annoying, but maybe they were busy or something. Our waitress was also very kind. Overall solid dinner and we both agreed we would come back if we were in the area again.

The food was above and beyond! Well done, great presentation, and beautiful cuts of fish. Gino was fantastic and always moving! We visited on Valentine's Day so it was very busy when we arrived. The service staff was always working and doing what they could to customize each table's experience. The cozy space was full of character and artistically decorated. It was also decorated for Valentine's Day which made the ambiance more special. If you are looking for a great sushi place that doesn't require a trip to Downtown Chicago, look no further!

Just landed in Chicago from California and decided to try Kizuna Sushi Bistro. So glad I did. The service was fantastic. Gino, my server, was friendly, knowledgeable, and recommended two amazing rolls. The fish was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. I travel a lot across the country and internationally. This place truly stands out. Incredible food and genuine hospitality. I'll definitely be back.

I've been here a couple times. First time the food was excellent. Second time the food was like meh. I took the average so it's about a 3. Service both times were poor and very slow. It wasn't busy during both times I went (dinner time). Prices are expensive for the lack of consistent quality. Hard to find a decent sushi place in the area, you're better off taking a trip to Arlington Heights Miso soup 3.5/5 Caterpillar roll 3/5 Garlic salmon 5/5 Black monster 4/5 Exotic bomba 5/5 Nigiri 4/5 Ocean vinaigrette 3/5 River beast 3/5 Dragon roll 3/5

I went with the bento box B with the teriyaki chicken, and I can't really pick a clear standout. The teriyaki chicken was cooked perfectly and just hit right, but the fried vegetables were just as impressive. Light, crispy, not greasy at all. And yes, I said vegetables... I know, right. They kind of balance each other out, and honestly both were equally good for different reasons. I also grabbed a side of crab rangoon and yeah... those were crazy good. Crispy outside, creamy inside, just straight addictive. Only complaint is you get three. That's it. I could've put down 30 without even thinking about it. What I really liked is this place doesn't try too hard. The food is clean, fresh, and consistent. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. It's not some flashy, overhyped sushi spot, it's just solid across the board. The space is smaller and more on the cozy side, which honestly works in its favor. Easy to relax, not loud or chaotic. Service was friendly and on point without hovering. Overall, this is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want. Good food, good people, and a vibe that keeps you coming back.

The crab Rangoon would have been better as a dine in option as it cooled a bit too much once it got home. Good flavor and loved the spicy dipping sauce (which is often watered down at other places). VERY generous portions of sushi. Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail all delicious. 3 rolls: Pink Lady, Crunchy Roll, and Sweetheart Roll. The first and last had their own special sauces to add, which we each delicious. The crunchy roll was the least interesting, though still tasty. Will need to dine in next time to give the crab Rangoon a fair chance. Otherwise, I recommend a good takeout experience.

We got really lucky with this amazing stand alone restaurant in Lombard. We walked into this cute, unassuming restaurant at around 1:30 for lunch. Interior is really simple and cute and they have options of all you can eat for $33 which is a great deal or à la carte. We chose à la carte as we weren't super hungry. We were so pleasantly surprised at the quality and amount of food that we were served. Everything was super fresh and delicious and there was so much food that we wound up taking some of it home. Presentation was also excellent. We started with the Tsuki sashimi appetizer and the seaweed salad and ended with the maki combination sushi platter. There were so many rolls on the plate and it probably could've served three people. The service that was great and the price was really reasonable. As I brought it to our table I made sure to let my fellow diner know to use a napkin as the shaker was dirty and sticky. The booth where we were seated faced west so there were slats and a shade to cover the window. Reading the menu was next to impossible. This was my first exposure to ramen and, most likely, my last. I got tired of waiting for my printed receipt so we left. I will not return to this restaurant.
