Really cute and aesthetically pleasing inside. Our waiter was super friendly and informative. We started with the edamame and pork rumblings--both were really good, though some of the edamame pieces were saltier than others. For my main, I had the spicy salmon lettuce wrap. The ingredients were super fresh, but it felt like it was missing a little something flavor-wise--soy sauce helped. Definitely want to come back to try their desserts!

Dinner was a chirashi bowl and tempura vegetable roll. Great value for the quality. Friendly folk, plenty of indoor and outside seating and convenient parking.

We wanted to try some place new for sushi and, according to google, Kizuna seemed to be the place to try. I called the night before to make reservations for two. We came on a Saturday night, and the place was pretty empty. We could have easily shown up reservation-less without much of a wait. We tried a few different rolls: pink flower, dynamite, and the ocean vinaigrette. They were all good and very unique!

Our new favorite sushi place . Fresh ! Tasty , great presentation , lots of choices with raw fish what we like . Such attentive customer service . I see many customers do take out , we enjoyed dine - in . Favorite rolls - Medusa , Salmon mania , Black monster and more . Also Lucky Buddha beer , ask for a bottle ! The only thing I would recommend is to play calm music , more like other Japanese restaurants play instead of a club music . Cheers !

The food was pretty good! We started with the shumai which came with a delicious spicy sauce. Our rolls were all pretty good, with our favorite being the turtle roll. The spider roll was probably my second favorite after that. The only thing we didn't love was our rolls came out in waves instead of all together which was kind of annoying, but maybe they were busy or something. Our waitress was also very kind. Overall solid dinner and we both agreed we would come back if we were in the area again.

The food was above and beyond! Well done, great presentation, and beautiful cuts of fish. Gino was fantastic and always moving! We visited on Valentine's Day so it was very busy when we arrived. The service staff was always working and doing what they could to customize each table's experience. The cozy space was full of character and artistically decorated. It was also decorated for Valentine's Day which made the ambiance more special. If you are looking for a great sushi place that doesn't require a trip to Downtown Chicago, look no further!

I've been here a couple times. First time the food was excellent. Second time the food was like meh. I took the average so it's about a 3. Service both times were poor and very slow. It wasn't busy during both times I went (dinner time). Prices are expensive for the lack of consistent quality. Hard to find a decent sushi place in the area, you're better off taking a trip to Arlington Heights Miso soup 3.5/5 Caterpillar roll 3/5 Garlic salmon 5/5 Black monster 4/5 Exotic bomba 5/5 Nigiri 4/5 Ocean vinaigrette 3/5 River beast 3/5 Dragon roll 3/5

Just landed in Chicago from California and decided to try Kizuna Sushi Bistro. So glad I did. The service was fantastic. Gino, my server, was friendly, knowledgeable, and recommended two amazing rolls. The fish was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. I travel a lot across the country and internationally. This place truly stands out. Incredible food and genuine hospitality. I'll definitely be back.

The venue Wasn't too crowded which was a plus. I decided to have dinner with reservations @3pm with the App OpenTable. On time for my reservation with no wait time! Seated immediately, I was excited to have my waitress named Arielle. Immediately, she accompanied me with complimentary bread and water along with the restaurant cocktail and food menus. She was very happy to be able help in any way to make me comfortable and was just a joy to have. My first course was the Iceberg wedge BLT, with my cocktail smoked old fashioned. For the second course I spoiled myself with the filet medallions with lobster tail Oscar style accompaniment sides; truffled mac&cheese, and crab fried rice with mushrooms and scallions. Sheeeshh! That meal was phenomenal! Lobster sat perfectly on top of the beef medallions as they both were served and with gratitude I ate every bit of it! Truffled Mac & cheese were so cheesy it was a perfect mouthful. The rice also had some delicious flavors that enticed my tastebuds with savory goodness! Everything was GOODT! Easter Sunday with great food, good company, and dope service ! Check em out!

This is a really small restaurant, so I would make reservations just to be safe. Immediately after being seated, we were brought delicious bread and butter, and water. We ordered drinks, which came out very quickly. We ordered Pappardelle Bolognese, Linguine Volpole (fresh clams), and Lasagna. The entrees were served with either soup (Minestrone), or Salad. The salad was fresh, and was served with a delicious Ranch dressing. The Minestrone was chock full of fresh vegetables, and was very good. It was served hot...and was clearly homemade. All three of the entrees were beyond delicious. The Lasagna was the best I've ever had. We split a Tiramisu for dessert. It was very good, but it was served layered in a glass vs being served on a plate or in a bowl, so it made sharing very difficult. The prices were reasonable; our entrees were between $24-$30. The Tiramisu was a little pricey @ $9. Service was impeccable. Note there is no parking lot, so street or public parking only. We had no trouble finding a spot, but that might be different on a weekend night. I highly recommend Made In Italy Trattoria.

The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. A sweet hostess guided us through the large white table clothed dining room to a bright big windowed patio-like area in the back of the restaurant. I just moved to the area and wasn't sure what to expect but Ki's is a great spot to have nearby! It has more options that your typical steakhouse. There seems to be a little bit of Greek influence, offering kababs (which were SO good), saganki and Grecian seasonings. An underdog is definitely the pot roast, not usually something I'd order off a menu but when it came to the table and I tried it, I instantly regretted not getting it as a meal. I looked up highly rated Vietnamese restaurants and found Tasty House 1 in Carol Stream. This place is everything we anticipated it to be. The location is nice and has parking in front, inside is super spacious and had a relaxing and breathable ambiance. Another appetizer we got separately was the fried calamari which had a great crunchy texture, the absolute best! There is a separate vegan menu with half a dozen things on it, and other than the drinks and desserts, pretty much nothing on the regular menu is vegetarian. (The papaya salad, which is on the vegan menu, is a ringer: it contains fish sauce.) You've got your choice of various fruit lemonades, bubble teas, popping bubble teas, jellies, etc. Desserts include flan, Vietnamese yogurt, coconut jelly - none of which you'll be eating onsite as you'll be too full after your entree. Portions are on the large side - even the papaya salad is a meal. I got the peach lemonade, vegetable spring rolls and the tofu, vegetable and noodles, which turned out to be a soup, basically Vietnamese ramen. The spring rolls are tasty and come with peanut sauce; the vegetable broth was savory with lots of baby bok choy, plenty of noodles and cubes of fried tofu - it was even better with some of the homemade hot sauce, which I highly recommend. The lemonade comes in a bubble tea disposable cup and contains tiny pieces of fruit - very fruity, not very citrusy. Service was friendly and very personable, which helps if you're serving 16 people. All of whom were happy.
