Really cute and aesthetically pleasing inside. Our waiter was super friendly and informative. We started with the edamame and pork rumblings--both were really good, though some of the edamame pieces were saltier than others. For my main, I had the spicy salmon lettuce wrap. The ingredients were super fresh, but it felt like it was missing a little something flavor-wise--soy sauce helped. Definitely want to come back to try their desserts!

Dinner was a chirashi bowl and tempura vegetable roll. Great value for the quality. Friendly folk, plenty of indoor and outside seating and convenient parking.

We wanted to try some place new for sushi and, according to google, Kizuna seemed to be the place to try. I called the night before to make reservations for two. We came on a Saturday night, and the place was pretty empty. We could have easily shown up reservation-less without much of a wait. We tried a few different rolls: pink flower, dynamite, and the ocean vinaigrette. They were all good and very unique!

Our new favorite sushi place . Fresh ! Tasty , great presentation , lots of choices with raw fish what we like . Such attentive customer service . I see many customers do take out , we enjoyed dine - in . Favorite rolls - Medusa , Salmon mania , Black monster and more . Also Lucky Buddha beer , ask for a bottle ! The only thing I would recommend is to play calm music , more like other Japanese restaurants play instead of a club music . Cheers !

The food was pretty good! We started with the shumai which came with a delicious spicy sauce. Our rolls were all pretty good, with our favorite being the turtle roll. The spider roll was probably my second favorite after that. The only thing we didn't love was our rolls came out in waves instead of all together which was kind of annoying, but maybe they were busy or something. Our waitress was also very kind. Overall solid dinner and we both agreed we would come back if we were in the area again.

The food was above and beyond! Well done, great presentation, and beautiful cuts of fish. Gino was fantastic and always moving! We visited on Valentine's Day so it was very busy when we arrived. The service staff was always working and doing what they could to customize each table's experience. The cozy space was full of character and artistically decorated. It was also decorated for Valentine's Day which made the ambiance more special. If you are looking for a great sushi place that doesn't require a trip to Downtown Chicago, look no further!

I've been here a couple times. First time the food was excellent. Second time the food was like meh. I took the average so it's about a 3. Service both times were poor and very slow. It wasn't busy during both times I went (dinner time). Prices are expensive for the lack of consistent quality. Hard to find a decent sushi place in the area, you're better off taking a trip to Arlington Heights Miso soup 3.5/5 Caterpillar roll 3/5 Garlic salmon 5/5 Black monster 4/5 Exotic bomba 5/5 Nigiri 4/5 Ocean vinaigrette 3/5 River beast 3/5 Dragon roll 3/5

Just landed in Chicago from California and decided to try Kizuna Sushi Bistro. So glad I did. The service was fantastic. Gino, my server, was friendly, knowledgeable, and recommended two amazing rolls. The fish was fresh, the flavors were balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. I travel a lot across the country and internationally. This place truly stands out. Incredible food and genuine hospitality. I'll definitely be back.

The dining room looked…read moregreat, but we had a date with a TV show, so it was takeout. 3 rolls, 6 pieces of sushi, and an order of crab Rangoon to start. The crab Rangoon would have been better as a dine in option as it cooled a bit too much once it got home. Good flavor and loved the spicy dipping sauce (which is often watered down at other places). VERY generous portions of sushi. Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail all delicious. 3 rolls: Pink Lady, Crunchy Roll, and Sweetheart Roll. The first and last had their own special sauces to add, which we each delicious. The crunchy roll was the least interesting, though still tasty. Will need to dine in next time to give the crab Rangoon a fair chance. Otherwise, I recommend a good takeout experience.

I went with the bento box B with the teriyaki chicken, and I can't really pick a clear standout. The teriyaki chicken was cooked perfectly and just hit right, but the fried vegetables were just as impressive. Light, crispy, not greasy at all. And yes, I said vegetables... I know, right. They kind of balance each other out, and honestly both were equally good for different reasons. I also grabbed a side of crab rangoon and yeah... those were crazy good. Crispy outside, creamy inside, just straight addictive. Only complaint is you get three. That's it. I could've put down 30 without even thinking about it. What I really liked is this place doesn't try too hard. The food is clean, fresh, and consistent. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. It's not some flashy, overhyped sushi spot, it's just solid across the board. The space is smaller and more on the cozy side, which honestly works in its favor. Easy to relax, not loud or chaotic. Service was friendly and on point without hovering. Overall, this is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want. Good food, good people, and a vibe that keeps you coming back.

It's not a large restaurant, but the service and quality are spot on. The variety of sushi from nigiri, sashimi, rolls, signature rolls, and even chef specials is refreshing to see. Anytime I've been in town and have a sushi craving, this is my go-to and has been for the past 5 years. Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the menu has a wide variety of options - including appetizers, traditional rolls, specialty rolls, and so on - and the food is always fresh, made-to-order, and leaves my tastebuds doing backflips! This time around, we ordered our usual appetizers - crab rangoons, shrimp shumai, chicken karaage, & miso soup - as well as a handful of rolls including the color dragon roll, regular dragon roll, fire dragon roll, yelllow tail roll, the sweet 16 roll, and an assortment of nigiri and sashimi. We ordered enough sushi to have it served on a boat (which is always such an exciting feeling!!). As usual, everything was fresh and tasty! The highlights of our sushi boat were definitely the fire dragon roll and the color dragon roll; DYNAMITE flavor! With all that being said, I highly recommend Sushi Nova to all folks that are willing to make the drive out to Westmont and are open to having a delicious experience with loved ones!
