All things for a basic good, hot, meal Good service. Clean place. Kind workers. Have been there three times and it's all been consistently good.

Buffet seems to be the best option

This place was actually pretty good I thought. Solid buffet with lots of choices and constantly refreshed. I thought the fresh fruit was delicious, coffee was hot, and pretty much anything you were looking for in breakfast was at the buffet. You can order off the menu but for a few bucks more get the buffet. We were served quickly, other places around town had 40 minutes wait times. Place was clean and spacious, good for crowds or large families. I'd visit again!

We came into KJ's today for a late breakfast early lunch. We were immediately greeted and seated. We sat at the 2 person table just as you walk in the restaurant. As we were sitting down and looking at our menus, we saw an employee who looked like he was just a few days out of high school. He was wrapping flatware in a napkin. On a closer look, he is touching the top of the knife, fork and spoon with his fingers and there was definitely multiple touches to each piece before wrapping. Then he rubs his face with his hands. Now this is not your normal itch or discomfort. He starts rubbing his face like he just woke up and got out of bed. Then he yawns like an anime character. Full chin drop, head leans forward and without covering his mouth, he yawned for 5 seconds all over the open flatware tray. That was all I needed to see. I asked for a manager. I discretely pulled the manager aside and spoke with him privately. I didn't want anything from this manager but the reassurance that he'd properly train his employee with better flatware training and more general restaurant education. To my dismay, the manager speaks with this uneducated employee and alerts him to my complaint. So what does the kid do? He goes right back in the flatware pile and starts touching every piece of flatware by the tip of the fork, knife and spoon. Now it's almost intentional as I can tell. That was it for us, we asked for our check and we were out of there. If the manager doesn't take some very good health advice from a customer, then I guess it's time to find another place to dine. I tried to do the right thing, but KJ's management team felt differently about the whole thing. I wasn't aware KJ's was so great that they can ignore their customers and the health concerns for myself and for the good of others. Think long and hard before going to eat at KJ's. They need a bit more help at the GM and entry level positions. This GM lacked any interest at all in helping make this health concern go away. It seems like he encouraged it. So sad! Last but not least, the crispy hash browns we ordered were freezer burnt. They do not use fresh potatoes for their hash browns. They tasted horrible!

Sadly Kjs is no longer what it was Nothing scratch.. Everything Sisco and frozen.. Cheapest quality items they could find.. I was so shocked! Even the salad bar quality has gone down and you would think with Sizzler closing they would boost the salad bar.. Add in impatient rude service, raw foods, & just overall lack of feeling welcomed anymore be a bit before we go back.. & I would not recommend if you have small children to come after how we were treated tonight!

We did have to have a small wait. I love the fact that they were busy! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a local business thrive! It was a little over 10 minutes of wait time. No problem, we chilled in the car till we got our text to come in. We were sat, got coffee and juice ordered and checked out the menu. We were both hungry so everything looked good. My husband decided on a stack of pancakes with chocolate chips and a side of biscuits and gravy. I got the Big boy omelet with Moe Joe's potatoes. Our server, I believe her name is Kendra, was super sweet! I have served her before when she came in and ate my at family's restaurant. She was fabulous as a guest and fabulous at taking care of us today. I had requested a fresh cup of half and half that wasn't used my multiple guests. I'm still bring careful with my new kidney. With no hesitation, she gladly gave me a fresh cup of half and for my coffee. I appreciate her kindness so much. Food came out and booooyyyyy did everything look amazing! My husband's pancakes were fluffy and had plenty of chocolate chips. The biscuits were covered with gravy. My omelet was massive and was also covered in gravy. I was ready to tear into them potatoes! They were nice and charry. I know this meal is about to hit! I don't think I said a word to my husband for 15 minutes. The food was so good! Nothing important needed to be talked about when the food was doing the talking for us. My omelet was stuffed with green peppers, onions and all the 3 meats that came with it. I love love love the gravy on top! The potatoes were crispy on the outside and so soft in the middle. The potatoes with gravy is top tier! Of course I tried my husband's pancakes.... so fluffy and sweet. The biscuits weren't crazy dense. I love that they were airy. I really had to hold back on the pancakes, I still had a whole omelet to work on. But them pancakes were the business! It's sad that this joint is clear across town. I would eat here every week if I could. Everything we had today was so good! Everything I had last time was good! The service is fantastic. I adore Memory and Peyton. Now I get to add Kendra to my list! One of the best breakfast joints in town, hands down! I'm so happy I got to start my birthday week at Moe Joe's! I look forward to coming back very soon.

We had a different server than our usual this time and she was fantastic. I wish I remembered her name to give her a shout out. I took away a star because the food wasn't as great as the last few times I visited. The eggs were overcooked (kind of dry and almost rubbery) and the hash browns were under cooked in the center. Now, if you've read my previous review, youd know how much i absolutely LOVE their pancakes - and I've made it my go-to spot for breakfast because of it. Well, either they changed the recipe or someone messed up this batch. It was nice and fluffy, but bland. That signature deliciously buttery flavor was nowhere to be found. I kept taking bites hoping my tongue was deceiving me... but there were no lies. Just disappointment. This is definitely a deal breaker. Maybe I'll try one more time. If it was just a one-time fluke, I'll update this review and stars. :::sigh:::

There was confusion with my order at pickup--despite having already paid through the First Watch website, the staff reportedly told my DoorDash driver that the order hadn't been paid for and initially refused to release it. I had to call the restaurant myself to sort it out, which delayed the delivery. When the order finally arrived, it was missing an item I paid for (the Million Dollar Bacon). I called the restaurant again to report it, but there was no apology or clear resolution offered. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and disappointing, especially given that the order was prepaid and should have been straightforward. I'm hoping this was a one-time issue, but better communication and order accuracy would go a long way in improving the customer experience.

I'm not really in favor of having to give your cell phone number to feed into their app so you know when your table is ready, but there you have it. The inside is pretty cool if you are into that "converted warehouse" feel of exposed beam crossed with a country kitchen feel. Tables aren't crammed together, definitely a sense of space. There are booth options as well. And as I prefer, no TVs. There were 2 groups of 14 that were served during our visit, so they can definitely accommodate larger parties. Our server rarely checked in, took 10 minutes to refill coffee after we requested a top off (she forgot), and never ended up refilling out water. The coffee we did get was good though. As always, I'm a hollandaise connoisseur as the foundation for perfect Benedict - my go to breakfast item. So I asked for a sample before I ordered, and I'm glad I did. The Griddle's hollandaise was curious. It was clearly about 25-50% powdered mix (which tastes like nasty beef gravy) with the balance being added clarified butter and a very strong dose of lemon. It was marginal, but good enough. So, I went with the crab cake Benedict. The crab cakes were a bit "fishy," so the strong lemon flavor was a plus. After flagging down our server, I requested a new poached egg as one of them arrived hard boiled. (I want runny yolks as hard boiled are too chalky for my taste.) The replacement egg was delivered very quickly. My guest had the banana Texas french toast special with added bacon and scrambled eggs. Bacon was nice and thick, nicely cooked. Scrambled eggs are pretty much just that. The french toast did have great body to it, but I'm not a huge banana fan. Still enjoyed it though. I would consider this an option for a revisit.

This was 12 minutes after registering. One notification for the combined messages. So, as I waited for the table ready message I missed our 10 minute warning. Was this some screw up of their messaging provider? Pretty lousy implementation. So when we finally asked why the "15 minute wait m" became 35 we found out our reservation had expired. When asked whst they could do under the circumstances, we were told we'd have to go to the bottom of the list and wait again. This time for 20 minutes. Apparently, this Griddle location is where customer service goes to die. Meanwhile, we hopped over to Joe Mama's where their messaging system is much more informative and intuitive. Not to mention it works. We may patronize other Griddle locations. Maybe. But this one's off the list.
