My plumber had been keeping my air conditioner on life support for the past few years. Monday he came out to do the before-summer maintenance and told me that it was dead. Not good news. I wasn't planning on it dying this year. Then he told me he knew a guy. That guy was Kelly. We talked on the phone that same day and then he came out on Tuesday to check everything. Really great service! Had a friend who used KJ's and they were right! Great Value and very professional. Danny came to look at my Heating AC as it was not turning on. I had called a few other places and given them the information about my AC and immediately those places just said "it's shot and old, you'll need to replace it". Danny did a complete check on my unit and blower and discovered my fuse was blown.....changed it out and everything worked! Unfortunately, my experience with this vendor has not been a pleasant one. I had Lee come service my unit a few months ago and was charged for cleaning of the unit as well as a new capacitor. Only a few months later my system stopped functioning so I called him back. He was unavailable, so I called a different vendor. They sent me pictures of the unit and informed me this unit looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. They also advised me the lack of service potentially resulted in the damaged system. I had a conversation with Lee, he sent someone out the following day. He then mentioned that due to lack of a water connection he was unable to clean the system as they normally would (mind you the water connection is on the front of building). There was no mention of this during the initial transaction, only now after he has been called out on his work. As a owner, and customer, the false sense of a completed job has resulted in additional costs. I tried to work this out directly with Lee by asking a refund for the work that was clearly not preformed, but the company decided to go radio silent in emails. read more

If I could rate 10 stars I would. Ac stopped working Friday, I'd had my system replaced two years ago by nexgen. Had them come out to look and they said it was a bad motor in the furnace. Then said I'd need to replace the motor at a cost of 2000 or replace the entire furnace for 7500. Had a friend recommend Kjs, called them on Sunday around noon. They had someone out by 8:30 Monday. In addition they were able to test, and get the motor running, and let me know that it wasn't a bad motor, but it was a bad capacitor. After replacing the capacitor the technician was able to get the system running by 9:30. He stated that while the system was older and would need to be replaced in a few years, they would be able to replace the system for half the price. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

KJ's Heating and Air was referred to us by Mr. Paul Murphy who serviced the heater at our house. We needed a professional company to service the AC units at our family restaurant. Most of the commercial heating and air companies we have reached out do not meet the insurance requirements required by our property management. One other big company in the local area, We Care Heating and Air also meets the insurance requirements, however they charge a steep $189 commercial HVAC diagnostic fee and it's not waived even if you decide to do the repair with them. It's just not cost-effective for our small business. Fortunate, KJ's charges less than half on the diagnostic fee and it's waived if you do the repair. They also meet all the insurance requirements. Lee responded very promptly and it was easy and quick to schedule an service appointment with them. The team showed up early for their service appointment and was able to fix the issues right away. We are very happy with the services they provided and we think their fees are reasonable. Hence, we decided to hire them to service our units on a regular basis in the future. We would recommend this company to other people and small businesses in the community. read more
