I was referred to Righteous Heating & Cooling by the owner of an AC repair company that has now closed, and I trust him, he always did a great job. The AC Technician, Francisco, came out to look at my AC unit and confirmed the unit was totally out of freon, likely due to a leak. Chris, owner of Righteous Heating & Cooling, called me to give some options, I could fill the unit with 9 pounds of freon which would cost over $2,000 (and I was thinking my unit is so old it probably will have more issues to come) or replace it with a new energy efficient and quiet unit and he quoted me extremely competitive prices for each of the new AC unit options. You won't find better prices, he really looks out for his customers. I chose to go with the ACPro unit with high tech features, it's super quiet and it stands upright so it takes up less space. Chris ordered all the parts for the new system and arrived at my house with his team to install it. They were professional, kind and considerate. Installation of a new AC system is a lot of hard work & requires complex technical expertise and this team works incredibly well together, like a well-oiled machine!! We have been having issues with our ac since last summer, another company came out and basically fed us some nonsense a year ago. Hello everyone, This is the guy that doesn't know what I'm talking about per Chris (the owner). Long story short, repairs were made to my house that didn't fix the issue. After explaining that to Chris and without him coming onsite, he said the issue is with the pipe behind the wall. Without having any sort of proof to back that and wanting to prevent additional damage to my house, I asked another company to come onsite. Turns out, the issue was in the attic and not the pipe behind the wall. There was water leaking from a pipe up there and this time I was shown that it was happening. Repairs were made and leak is non-existent after roughly 30 mins of it being on. I'd recommend doing your due diligence and not going by someone's advice via text. If I followed Chris's diagnosis, I'd be $700-800 dollars out of pocket to find out the leak was in the attic the whole time. I paid roughly $400 for these repairs including what we paid Chris. I guess I got better drainage from Chris's job but that's about it. Chris, sorry you're taking this so emotionally man. Wasn't our intention -- this site is to share experiences with business and this one was ours. Hope the outcome would've been different but please don't bash people for simply sharing their experience. Not great for business but to each their own. Called them out to work on my A/C. Once he identified the problem I had two options. Replace the unit or repair it. I went for the repair route and asked for a quote. He gave me a quick one while he was here and I was told he would get back to me with the real one. After a week I hit him up again to get the quote total and set a date. He told me he would contact me on Monday and again I got ignored. Went to another company, had the unit replaced with a new one (vs repairing) and the quick quote he gave me was only $500 less than getting a new unit put in. Glad I went elsewhere. read more
