Great independent coffee shop. Good pastries. They use real eggnog to make eggnog lattes not just some syrup added to milk.

I'm definitely not a fan of Starbucks and will always support smaller, more local coffee houses. I was in the area and had a bit of time to kill and I found this place on Yelp. I had a non-fat latte and a carrot bar. The coffee, while it could have been hotter, was delish! It was really smooth, not at all bitter like Starbucks. And the carrot bar tasted exactly like my homemade carrot cake without all the work. When I'm in the area again, I'm definitely coming back here. read more

How are the reviews so high?? I got a soy latte and it was lukewarm at most... I drank it so fast because it wasn't hot and I hate cold lattes... So by the time I was in my car it was almost yucky and I just drank the rest before it completely sucked. Not to mention I got a large and it wasn't even filled to the top. If I pay for a large I want it full, not 4/5th full. I guess maybe their flavored lattes are good... But I probably won't be back to see. The soy latte I had tasted like it could have been from Starbucks. The person I was with got a coffee with soy milk and also said it was bland... Maybe im pickier cause I was a barista in college... Maybe this is the best coffee shop in this city... Who knows. But this will not be going on my favorite coffee spots list. Which sucks cause the menu looks awesome. The Cash register girl wasn't super friendly either which docked them a few points in my book as well. read more

Most of the staff are really friendly here. A couple of them don't really smile unless you're a regular. They treat their regulars really well. I just wish it was that way for those of us who pops in once in a while. BUT I sure love the patio special so I'll still come in. I've tried some of the other drinks but my go to is the patio special. Ice cream blended w/ espresso. Creme brûlée latte iced, heaven. It is sweet, so probably wouldn't be good for those who don't like sweet things. I've tried a couple of other things from their menu, but I always go back to the creme brûlée. The workers are also pretty nice and helpful. read more

First off I have to say I love Klatch. It is definitely my most frequented coffee spot, and I go out of my way to come here even though there are many closer shops. That being said the past few times I have come to this location have been underwhelming to say the least. This most recent visit really irked me, however. I order literally the same two things every time I come here, those being the house mocha and vanilla latte-always hot. This visit was none different, one large hot vanilla latte. When my order is ready however, it is an iced coffee, so I inform the barista that it was supposed to be hot. She was very nice and apologized, which was great and started making the correct drink. The main problem was that when I received the correct order it was lukewarm at best and kind of tasted off, like maybe the incorrect ice coffee was used to create the hot one. On top of that it looked like it was thrown together with no care. I hope this was not the case, but if there is one thing I want when ordering a HOT coffee is for it to be HOT, not barely not cold! read more

On a recent trip to Southern California I convinced my wife to take a side trip to Klatch Coffee in San Dimas. I was anticipating a real treat after reading all of the accolades bestowed upon this shop and its owners. What actually transpired was total disappointment. The drinks we ordered were brewed on a machine that was so dirty that the espresso tasted extremely sour like rancid coffee. We actually went down the street to Starbucks (if you can imagine) to get replacement drinks, where we threw the Klatch drinks in the trash. read more

I really loved the atmosphere in this place. My friend brought me here on my birthday and as soon as I walked in I though it was the cutest little shop. There are tables and chairs everywhere where people were studying, etc. But the couches they had were what really got my attention. It felt very "Friends"-esque. We got to hang out and drink coffee on the big couch which was nice. And the guy working there was awesome! He found out it was my birthday and was really nice about it. He made us feel really comfortable there. The only downside was my coffee was too sweet. I'm a Starbucks person so I've mastered exactly how to make my coffee there to taste the way I like. But I would definitely go again! They even have almond milk which I love :) read more

Klatch is amazing. It's got a Cheers element to it as when I go in they always remember my name and my very specific drink order. Once you have coffee here you cannot go back to the large chain coffee places. Their house mocha is amazing! But what is the very best is their homemade whipped cream! You seriously could eat it with a spoon by itself. For breakfast I've had their eggel, monte cristo and daily scones and they are all wonderful. read more

Good coffee and Wifi are definitely why I come here. However, what ruined it was the staff. Fairly unpleasant and overall, very very loud. They had constant stream of friends coming in and they talk without any discretion regarding the customers. They were so loud that 2 people left and 1 had to go sit outside. Other reviewers had said that this place was filled with kids, they were right. Kills the small cafe feel and can't come here to work/write. 3 stars basically for the coffee and wifi, may not be enough to come back though. read more

No need to elaborate: they make grand claims to being a superlative, upper-echelon type of place, I went in their a little skeptical, I left after having had the best Cappuccino I've ever tasted, and a damn fine drip coffee as well. I had the Turkey Pesto panini and the Tomato Caprese panini and they were the most delicious things I have ever tasted. The service was great and they joked around with me when I told them how amazing I thought the sandwich was. We decided it was a religious experience, there were tears shed, and I levitated. My hubby and I LOVE the Klatch!!!! We're regulars for sure. Been going for years. They do coffee right! We've never had a bad experience. Their baristas are well-trained and knowledgable about coffee. You'll never get a burnt cup. My husband loves his cappuccinos, and when it's in season, he loves the Twig and the Tree. I am currently in love with their honey cinnamon cappuccino, but really, we haven't tried anything we didn't like. During the summer, we love getting their fruit teas... and oh boy, don't get me started on the Patio Special. Mmmmmm. Klatch is the bomb! I've been getting my medicine here for about 7 years now. They don't seem like they've ever been rocked by that corporate coffee joint a block or so away. Kudos to the owner (Mike) and his family for keeping it all real n tasty! In the past I've bought coffee from other places back in San Diego county where I lived. I moved near San Dimas about 13 years ago. I was in a coffee wilderness if you will for about 6 years till I walked into Klatch. Honestly, I thinks it's the best I've had. The service is always quality, down-to-earth real. If a barista makes a mistake he or she corrects it with no qualms. I know they have their trying moments and they are human but they keep that quality, respect and focus. God bless Klatch Coffee! read more
