Klaw completely delivered on the upscale Miami dining experience. From the moment you step into the elevator to the stunning rooftop water views, everything feels elevated and beautifully curated. Even the live lobster display when you first walk in adds to the whole experience. The service was exceptional everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the night. The food was outstanding from start to finish. We especially loved the cured salmon and the hamachi crudo, both incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. My favorite cocktail of the night was the Oaxaca, which was just as impressive visually as it was flavor-wise. Between the rooftop ambiance, waterfront views, amazing presentation, and overall energy, this spot absolutely captures the perfect Miami vibe. Definitely one of my favorite dining experiences while visiting Miami.

Wonderful dinning experience in a beautiful building. It has a dark and moody vibe. The seafood was absolutely the freshest. The steaks were cooked exactly to order. Our server was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgable and attentive. Would definitely recommend for an elevated experience.

For a drink with a view, we hit up happy hour at The Rooftop by Klaw. A quick elevator ride to the top of the historic Women's Club building rewards you with a phenomenal panoramic view and a consistent breeze over the Miami Bay. The happy hour menu is surprisingly grounded for this part of the city, offering some of the best prices I've seen in Miami recently--averaging $10-$12 for a mixed drink. While my friend sampled a few of the more complex options, I stuck to my standard Ranch Water, which was delivered perfectly. The service stood out here. The bartenders operated as a highly coordinated team, moving fast and effectively to manage a busy crowd without losing the ability to make personal connections through conversation. It's a level of efficiency you don't always see at high-volume rooftops. While we didn't stay for a meal, the lobster and King Crab tanks you see upon entering are a clear highlight and a nod to the quality of the kitchen. If you're looking for a supportive environment to catch a sunset with a clean drink in hand, this is a top-tier choice in the Edgewater area.

So my man took me here for my 41st birthday because he was anxious to find a place I hadn't visited yet. So we pull up to this place because it was the only one on the water and it was overlooking the biscayne bay on this beautiful January night. We had an issue with our reservation because there are 3 different systems that you can book through so he gave his name and the hostess said she didn't see our name. I don't know why you wouldn't check all three systems before telling someone they don't have a reservation but nonetheless after about 5-7 minutes she finally found it. We were seated promptly and the server who sat us got our first drinks and our water and from there the service of our permanent waitress was a little subpar. We seemed to wait an excessive amount of time for things and sometimes I feel it's because they have the guaranteed gratuity added. For me, this is a reason why the service should be even better because you are not going in this place spending less than $100 per person for even the cheapest things on the menu. We ordered the 4oz of crab legs, the steak tartare with caviar and the steak platter. The food was all very delicious but the bill was astronomical compared to the portion size. It was a great experience to have, but if I never go back I won't be disappointed. The steak platter was my favorite thing that we ate because of all of the homemade things that accompanied the steak so that would be something I would go back for. Overall I enjoyed my birthday and shoutout to my man for taking me to this place because it was great. We would just prefer some place else where our money may go further for what we had and better service.

It was perfect from the front desk actually from valet parking to the end! First of all thank you to Sebastian and the Lady from Ukraine. They were kind, courteous, chatty but also cool. I like their attitude. Ambience was really cool. They took us outside it was breeze so we could sit the outside with the beautiful view. Matteo served us. He was pretty, kind and cool waitress. He look after us very well. His guidance was copacetic... We started with drinks... And than we took wagyu tataki and STRACCIATELLA king crab.. I love all. Especially STRACCIATELLA was pretty good with that yummy bread. Only thing that I can complain about the my husbands birthday cake came without candle. Which made me upset. My expectation was take his phot with birthday cake. But it's ok. When we leave Dear Sebastian took us the other part of the restaurant which was very elegant... It was 4th floor. There are aged meat in the beginning. And very nice decorated large lounge... Today was his birthday and Thursday is my birthday so we are thinking go to again at Thursday... We will see! Thank youuu!

Klaw is hands down one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in Miami, FL. I am born and raised from Miami for context. It's quite unique to see the Norwegian crabs in the aquarium upon walking in. Each element of our dining experience was top of the line. We ate in the main dining room. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and provided tons of information about curating meats. He even brought over sample examples of meats and taught us about each portion of the cut. The rooftop is an alternative spot to eat where there is a spectacular view of the Bay of Miami. We got the American Wagyu and it was the best cut of meat I've ever tasted here in Miami. Truly. We also got the truffle hand cut steak fries which were delicious. Truly a memorable experience. If you're a visitor/tourist or you're local to Miami, Klaw is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!! You're not living until you eat at Klaw. Period.

My first tip is that self-parking can be a bit challenging in this area, so you'll most likely need to use the valet. It was a great spot to check off my Miami bucket list. If it's raining, I recommend dining indoors, as the roof tends to leak, though the staff did their best to accommodate us. The brunch menu offered a wide variety of options, with my favorite being the branzino and the guava ice cream. I checked the new brunch menu and it seems the selection options has been reduced with a price increase. Overall, it's a nice place to relax and enjoy the bay view, as long as the weather cooperates.

Decided to go to Klaw last night to celebrate my birthday the night before a cruise and I was not disappointed! The decor was beautiful and modern and the service was great. We got the African prawns, which were massive and definitely shareable with another person. The sauce was delicious. The chopped salad was amazing! We also got the ribeye, which was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was so buttery and tender, you could cut it with a fork! Got the coconut tres leches for dessert and the waitress, Abby, left a nice birthday card. We were so impressed with our experience and would definitely come back.

My first experience with Mika as our server was so good, I chose Klaw for a milestone birthday celebration, and Janetta ("Coco") totally delivered. Her service was outstanding! Her ability to hear and connect with her customers is remarkable. As before, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were worth every nickel! Thank you Klaw!

Maine Lobster Roll, Steak Fries, 1/2 Dozen Oysters, Tequila Soda

Sat outside on a cooler breezy evening and the view was everything! Overlooking the ocean and nearby park, boats cruising the harbor, cars crossing the nearby bridge, people playing tennis and volleyball in the park just below, cool mellow music in the background. I would come here again for the ambiance alone. The staff were pleasant and super attentive. If you know me, you know I love a good happy hour (more options for less!?) so I was excited when I found out I was just in time. The specialty cocktails were pre-made and I couldn't decide on one that worked for me, so I stuck with a tequila-soda or 2... I ordered a 1/2 dozen oysters and the Maine Lobster roll. Wasn't thrilled that the oysters came out later, but they also weren't the best, I guess what you would expect for Happy Hour though. I also looked down into the mignonette dressing sitting in the middle of the platter, to find 2 ants trying to escape lol! Not the best experience. The lobster roll was great! I opted for steak fries instead of salad, fries were ok, could have used some seasoning. Overall, I'll probably be back, decent food, good service, beautiful views. P.s. Valet felt like a scam, there are other nearby places to park. Options were $20 up front for them to park in the lot and return my keys to me so i could pick it up myself, which I could have done myself since i passed the parking stalls to get to them, or have them park in the nearby hotel for $80?

We went to Easter Brunch at Klaw yesterday and had the best experience!! Everyone there was incredibly friendly. Our daughter was given an Easter goodie bag filled with things that kept her busy while we were there including a coloring book, some twisty sticks, and even some chocolate. There was even a hidden chocolate in the lobby area that she "found" and was able to keep. There was also face painting and an Easter bunny. They really went all out for the kiddos. On to the food! This was our first time at Klaw and the food was AMAZING! I started with a Señorita cocktail. We had a fixed price menu for the holiday brunch, so we had the Jalapeño Cheddar Cornbread. For apps we got the Sake Cured Salmon (sooooo good) and the Stracciatella (delicious!!) We each had a Benedict (Spinach & Avocado and the Lobster Benedict) both which were amazing. For main plates my husband had the Pumpkin Spiced French Toast which he said was really good and sweet, and I had the Lobster Roll which was also great. We were given a dessert with all kinds of fruit and a yogurt/ custard type dessert on top. I was away from the table when they served it so I missed the name. It was so good, though, and I loved that we had the different fruit choices. Our toddler also ate a bunch of fruit which made me happy! Overall such a great experience, and I would highly recommend Klaw, especially for brunch. I will say we sat on the Rooftop. I'm not sure what the difference is from the main dining room. We were on the elevator with another family who got off on the 4th floor for the main dining room, and we went up to the 6th floor which was the rooftop. I'm not sure if the menus are the same or not. We used valet parking which was $20 and was fast.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience at Klaw rooftop. We went twice this week, and were served by the most friendly and kind waitress, Camila. We were also treated to an amazing dessert by Sebastian, who was a delight as well. It's so rare in Miami to have the ambience, food and service all be incredible, but the rooftop managed it. The happy hour was a great value, the food was spot on, (lobster rolls, short rib and deviled truffled eggs were all really delicious)! Thanks for a wonderful time. Cannot wait to come back.

Does this place require reservations? I'd like to reserve for a bday dinner

Definitely suggest reservations. While they do have a small bar area walk in seating, it's a popular place with unreliable space in this capacity. For a birthday dinner, I would call ahead.

    Is it kid friendly?

I'm not sure what they would say, but I would say it just doesn't seem like a kid friendly place. Nothing bad, it's just more of an adult setting. You should probably call!

    Is klaw Dog friendly?

    Most definitely not

    No way to make reservations?

For reservations you can go on our website www.klawrestaurant.com or by phone at 305-239-2523. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

    What is your corkage policy?

Hello Phil our corkage fee is $65 for a 750mL bottle (not on our wine list) you are welcome to bring up to two bottles. For Magnums it is $130 however, we only allow one.

Can I make reservations or do I just walk in?

Reservations are definitely recommended. I was told at first walk in availability would be limited. Their website lets you book reservations and request dining room or rooftop lounge-type seating. The menus are different between the dining room…

Alright, where to start here...everything was absolutely excellent!…read more Parker rolls (3.5/5): going to start with the weakest link. Yes these are viral, no they are not mind blowing. Deliciously fluffy and great with butter but they are still just dinner rolls. Hokkaido scallops (5/5): honestly one of the best bites of food I've had in years. The sweetness of the scallops, slight spice from the sauce, and balanced with pickled ginger...perfection. No words after bite 1, near tears after bite 2. Agnolotti (5/5): get this. The corn, crab, sauce...everything about this worked. This is like a healthy work environment where everyone lifts each other up. You'll get the sweet, the chew, the softness, the salty. Just get it. 26 oz ribeye (4.5/5) with peppercorn sauce (4/5) and bone marrow vinaigrette (5/5): okay so this dish was our main and it did not disappoint. You can definitely taste the beefiness from the dry aging and that alone was enough. With the peppercorn sauce it was great. BUT with the bone marrow vinaigrette, that took this steak from "really good" to life changing experience. Kouign amann ice cream sandwich (5/5): if you've never had a kouign amann, it's like if a croissant and a cake had a baby. Add in some ice cream and this dessert would've had to choke me to death on the way down to not get a 5/5. I'm alive and arguably more than ever after eating this platonic concept of dessert perfection. Get this! World Cup traffic had us running 30 minutes late for our reservation, but huge props to the host for seating us on a packed night. They gave us a 90 minute limit, which worked out great for our flight timeline. We were seated outside at a tiny 2 top table (maybe it's a Miami thing). While the courtyard setup is really pretty, the tables are squished so close together. When you order as much food as we do, it's a tight squeeze and feels a bit uncomfortable (and risky for dropping dishes!). Plus, Florida heat + the abundance of flies they had outdoors is a thing. Our waitress Vanessa made sure we got all of our dishes quickly so we could make our flight. Food we ordered that are a must: Parker House Rolls (that honey butter dip is addicting), Caesar Salad, Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, and the Blue Crab Agnolotti (my absolute favorite dish of the night). Paired it with the Circus Permit cocktail which was super fun. Food that I would skip: Sent back the duck terrine. The duck steak fell flat despite all the hype, and the yellowedge grouper was covered in way too many leeks for my taste. All in all, a solid 7/10 vibe with a friendly bar up front. I'd drop in for drinks and a few specific plates, but it's not an absolute must repeat for me next time I'm in Miami.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. You can immediately tell this is a place that takes hospitality seriously. We started with the beef carpaccio, which was beautifully presented and delicately seasoned--light, flavorful, and the perfect way to begin the meal. The wedge salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right balance of richness and acidity. For the mains, the experience really elevated. I had the tomahawk steak, and it was outstanding--perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and easily one of the better steaks I've had in Miami. My wife ordered the lobster ravioli, and this dish deserves special mention: it wasn't just ravioli with a hint of lobster--it actually featured generous, large pieces of lobster, which made it feel both indulgent and well worth ordering. The ambiance strikes a great balance between upscale and lively, making it ideal for both a special occasion or an elevated night out in Brickell. Now, to be clear--prices are definitely on the higher side. But in this case, you truly get what you pay for. Service was warm and friendly overall but not always as attentive. Small lapses stood out (most notably, red wine being poured into my champagne glass) but those things happen and were apologized. Food-wise, everything we ordered was good but some dishes felt overpriced for what they were. The beef carpaccio,l was overwhelmed by oil which dulled the delicacy of the meat. The wedge salad was similarly heavy-handed: fully tossed and drenched in dressing losing the crisp that makes a wedge shine. That said, the filet mignon was excellent: well-cooked, properly seasoned, and easily the standout of the meal. It was the dish that felt most worth its price. Overall, Miami's Dirty French is a great choice for a sexy steakhouse night out with a lively atmosphere and solid food.
