Took about an hour, all food came at different times, food was very okay. the pizzas were a little burnt and crunchy. the restaurant was almost empty too so the time it took was unacceptable. the restaurant is plain and dark inside. It was also quite pricey compared to blaze pizza which is faster, cheaper, and better. I will say, their main oven was broken I guess so that explains the time it took. My mom and I were visiting the area and ordered a take out pizza. The clerk explained that Pi had taken over the location from a previously named pizza place. The location has a few booths for seating. The staff was pleasant but while paying, my credit card got stuck in their machine; they called their manager who was supposed to come over and help. The manager said to credit me back the cost of the pizza. Well the manager never showed and I never received credit. Finally after about an hour we got my card out. Apparently the machine had a broken part which also damaged my card. I checked my credit card and noted I was never credited. I called a few days later and the person took my phone number and said he would follow up. However, no one ever called back and still no refund. read more

I'm giving this place three stars but my gut says that it's good for a solid four. So, why only three. Due to Covid I was forced to order to go and I'm about 15 mins from Pi in Nipomo so I was unable to experience the product fresh from the oven as it should be. I ordered a Krakatoa which is chicken breast, Italian sausage, pineapple, jalapeño, green pepper, and cilantro. I like this Pi. However, next time, I will 86 the cilantro and swap the jalapeño (there was too much imo) for red onion. This is a cool mom & pop pizzeria with a unique personality the demands to be experienced. Went in to order a simple 8" personal size pizza, so it could be made while I got my hair cut next door. I paid for it and she said it would be about 20 minutes. So I go next door to get my hair cut, 20 minutes later I went back, standing around, being completely ignored. In the meantime, several seated customers came up to the order station to ask where their pizzas were. Finally after about 45 minutes, my wife came in to see what was taking so long. When we asked how much longer it would be, she said she didn't know. She didnt even bother to go ask or look. All she would do is make a lame excuse about only having one person in the back cooking and then said "all I can say is patience is a virtue." Then I look in the back and I see an 8-inch pizza just now being put together and put in the oven after almost an hour after ordering it. Needless to say, it was well over an hour before my little pizza was done and WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more
