It's a dive diner and it's old and can use a deep cleaning. The walls are mirrors so you can watch yourself eat. If you can get past al that, I highly recommend this place for breakfast. The service was awesome. I get the feeling these women have been serving up hotcakes and sausage gravy biscuits for years. The kitchen must be pretty efficient too. I dined alone. Had to wait a few minutes for a booth. It's all booth seating. But then everything else happened like a well timed machine. I had a ham and cheese omelet with crunchy hash browns just the way I ordered them with dry wheat toast. The unsweetened iced tea which fuels me in the mornings (no coffee for this girl) was very good and the refills kept coming. If you are looking for an inexpensive place for breakfast that you can come as you are, try the fork and knife

Good Southern Style cooking. I eat here about once a week for a hearty meal. Don't expect some super clean new restaurant. Knife and Fork has been around forever and keeps the original vibe. I.e - Karen's stay away (yes I mean ladies that gave this place bad reviews like its fine dining). Good items: Chicken & Dumpling Lasagna Pot Roast I posted some pics of the menu to reference. Hope this helps!

To start this off, the sweet tea was amazing. I came here with a group two years ago and it was so good, very glad we came back again. Very cute restaurant that has exceptionally good food, not a long wait for the food, waitress was also nice and very helpful. The reason this has four stars is mainly because of the bathroom, it was unclean, didn't smell good(which most don't) and it also needs remodeling.

BREAKFAST for BREAKFAST! Almost as good as breakfast for lunch but pretty distantly back from breakfast for dinner, aka "brinner". This is a short order sort of restaurant. Maybe not as short as the one in My Cousin Vinny, but short. Two pages of eggs, waffles and such. Keep It Simple and Short. I went with the two eggs (over medium) with corned beef hash, grits (based on Melissa's recommendation) and toast. And coffee. Coffee comes in a large mug, which is awesome. While the gals did come around with refills often enough, it's nice to have your coffee fixed just the way you like it for more than two sips before the cup is empty. And it's decent coffee. Not that fancy caramel macchiato latte half caf stuff. This is coffee, nice and simple. Breakfast arrived on three plates. Eggs and grits on one, corned beef hash on the next and the toast on the third. Nice big eggs and the portions of grits and hash were excellent. As for the flavor, all were really good. The grits were maybe a little salty, but it's hard to match everyone's taste. The hash was plenty meaty and the eggs arrived just as I had ordered them. A good value of fat and carbs and protein for $5.10. With the coffee and a tip, it was rounded off to $10. Good deal. I like this place.

A great place to stop for lunch enroute to the beach. You get great family style country cooking in a diner style atmosphere. I had the grilled chicken tenders with okra & cole slaw. Mom had the vegetable plate, in addition to the above, you get a choice of potato salad, green beans and fried squash.

What a great little Ma & Pa Diner! This place as a nice little at home feel. The servers are very friendly and treat you like family. The food is good and you get a good amount for the price.

Food is good. Breakfast all day. It is what it is. A little neighborhood hole in the wall. Been here many times and will go many more.

We went to this little diner-like restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. We went on Memorial…read moreDay and there was about a fifteen minute wait for our party of two. First impression was good. The restaurant itself looked clean and family-oriented. It had a diner-like feel. We ordered breakfast. (Breakfast is served all day.) Our server was very pleasant, attentive and friendly. I ordered one chocolate chip pancake with strawberries and whipped cream, and a turkey sausage patty. My husband had an omelet with hash browns and a biscuit. Overall, we thought everything was very good. My husband said he prefers his hash browns more browned and crunchy; and that his biscuit could have been a little better, but he was still pleased with his meal. I have no complaints about my pancake and turkey sausage. The thing I liked most about this place was that there were many choices on the menu, and the prices were reasonable. Finally, a place you can enjoy that has good food, a nice atmosphere and won't cost you an arm and a leg. This is closest to a real diner that I've eaten at in a long time. As we waited for our food to come out (which didn't take long at all), we noticed other waitstaff delivering amazing-looking food to tables. Our mouths were watering!! We will definitely be back. A very enjoyable experience.
