They don't like them and they aren't trained properly on how to fix them. After three weeks and at least 15 hours trying to fix unit they said it was the compressor ($3k). We decided to get a second opinion while waiting on said compressor and found a company that installs and fixes this brand. They said it was not the compressor and that the first thing they should've done is noticed the thermostat, which is the "brain" of these systems hadn't been updated in 3 years. I'm giving two stars for effort. I also take some responsibly for hiring them in the first place. I did not understanding the complexity of the Ac unit in the house I bought and did not realize I had to update it, etc. If you have a simple problem on a brand they install try them out. Also, do not buy a Daikin.

I am not sure if Apollo is a good company to work for, but their employees are exceptional and hopefully Apollo is treating them the way they deserve to be treated because they don't want to lose any of the workers we had an experience with....The gentleman with the movie tattoo was clearly a kind person, going the extra mile and all of the technicians we encountered listened and explained everything. There was great follow up as well. So far we are extremely pleased!!!!!

The gentleman quoted me $1,695 in labor, as all the parts would be reused just refitted. I left work early, drove down there, disassembled, cleaned, and refitted them myself in 45 minutes. Duke came out inspected and turned the gas on. $1,695 for 45 minutes of work is disgraceful. You are taking advantage of people. I will be watching and reporting if you try to take my review down.

Arlinghaus has decided to change out the outdoor unit increasing size thus matching what was replaced. This is considerable expense to them but was the honorable thing to do. Hopefully this will be the final. Update to this review. In the end, Arlinghaus made a mistake sizing our replacement equipment up front but has gone a long way correcting that mistake in the end which is what really matters!

But the thermostats installed have never worked right. We've complained about them and had them out to check them and program them multiple times. Only one guy understands them so most of the techs made it worse. He got them to sorta work, but he revealed that they reset to defaults if the power goes out. They finally agreed to switch them out a week ago. Tech couldn't do it. Now there's a problem with the wiring. We've had no AC or fan for a week. We've called every single day and can only get their call service. They had to cut a hole in our ceiling to run duct work. They had a contractor repair it. The repair fell apart in months. Nobody EVER returned our calls. We finally had to pay our handyman to fix it. If they ever finish the job I'll let you know how their work is.

I called them because the AC was not cooling enough, ( Chris ) from JM came and said that there is a leak, need to find the leak, fix it and fill it with Refrigerant. He gave an estimate of $1070. I gave the okay to fix it. After they did the work, it still not working properly. They came the next day and got the unit to work and bring the temperature to 72 degree. That was in April, 2026. On June 12, 2026, I called JM Mechanical again for the same problem, the AC is on all time and temperature will not drop below 78-79 degrees. Nick Bell from JM came and said that the Coils are clogged and need to be clean. Not sure why they didn't diagnose this issue the first time. The worse part was Nick Bell told me that they couldn't clean the clogged coils because they are very busy and the earliest they could come is over a month from today. Nick gave me the company owners name ( Kyle) and asked to call him. I call Kyle and his phone number is no longer in service. Then I called the direct company phone number and no one picked up. Left messages and I am still waiting for a call back. It is now 5 days! And still waiting! What kind of company is this. I DON'T recommend this company JM Mechanical and will never use them again. An appointment was made and several days later the old furnace was taken out and a new furnace was installed in less than 4 hours. Everyone involved was extremely helpful and courteous. Bottom line: price quoted and installation met with no surprises. Clean space left with all old items and leftover stuff removed. Several weeks later, I remain completely satisfied with the job and would happily recommend this company based on my experience. I will continue to use them in the future.

Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.
