A cute little coffee shop that also has baked goods and food. I got a chai latte, and it was delicious. Drinks are made quickly so even if there's a line, there's not much of a wait. There are also laminated menus at the front counter next to the baked goods case, in addition to the large blackboard menu behind the counter.

I've tried most of the cafes across the city (and that's a lot!) but Knockbox's staff and cold brew are some of my favorite so far. It's rich, velvety, not too acidic or gritty with chocolaty notes in the roast. Really lovely spot and super chill. I always feel super welcomed and the vibes are really comfy for working for a bit while you drink and eat. Not a lot of seating so I try and leave as soon as I finish or I pick up more to drink if I want to stay longer.

A nice small, queer friendly, local coffee shop that serves up delicious drinks, bagels, breakfast sandwich, sandwiches, and a few pastries. I love studying on their deck outside.

Stopped by before heading to the nearby Indian grocery store. It is located in a cute neighborhood with colorful rowhomes. The mocha was delicious. Their pastries and baked goods looked tempting so I'll definitely check out something to eat next time. Plenty of outdoor seating which is perfect for when the weather is nice.

Small cafe in west Philly. LeBus bakery Jalapeño cheddar bagel with herb cream cheese paired perfectly with the iced spiced coffee. Bagel was soft, fresh, chewy and not too thick.

Chai was good but had limited indoor seating. AC was dripping and there were too many flies inside

I was going for a walk around the Clark Park area and was looking to get some coffee. I hadn't tried Knockbox Cafe before, so I thought I'd check it out. The inside of the store itself is pretty small, though there is some seating available. There also was some chairs and tables outside, which would be great to sit at and enjoy your coffee on a warm day. The menu is pretty extensive, and there are a lot of different options for food, drinks, and syrups. I got an iced latte with lavender syrup (their ice drinks come in a 20oz cup), and I enjoyed it. I would certainly come back here again!

Knockbox is a cute little cafe tucked into a neighborhood area in West Philly. There's some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating. I love the patio set up and it'll be nice to sit there once the weather warms up a bit. I got an iced hazelnut latte and enjoyed it. I like how it wasn't overly sweet and could really taste the espresso still. It was a pretty standard latte and didn't really stand out to me. I think they also have some more inventive or seasonal flavors too for their coffee. So I'm looking forward to trying more from Knockbox!

My best friend and I had a great experience there. Fast service, friendly people and great ambience. I've never had a Philly muffin and it was amazing.!They were patient and very knowledgeable. The neighborhood it was in was so cute. They were having a front porch music type thing. It was my first time trying a dirty chai and I've been drinking them ever since! they started off my trip to Philly with the great kick! much love from Texas.

Great breakfast sandwiches on Philly muffins. Strong coffee, friendly staff. Renovations are great but very crowded indoor space during the breakfast rush.

Visited Philly recently and found this quaint cafe nearby where I was staying. Get their Philly muffin, it was delicious! If bagel and bread had a baby it would be this. They give a generous amount of cream cheese and all the ingredients were fresh. Indoor seating is limited but this place is perfect if you're looking for coffee and a quick bite.

Breakfast sandwich on a Philly muffin with Turkey sausage egg and cheese.

Cute little cafe in West Philly with good coffee. I tried their breakfast sandwich, which was a turkey sausage, egg and cheese, on what they call a "Philly muffin" in lieu of a bagel, which was pretty good, but not the best breakfast sandwich I've had. I think I was moreso expecting the saltiness of an everything bagel, and that's why I was a little let down. Still good, but not necessarily what I was expecting. Overall the inside is super cute, they have a nice outdoor seating space, and they have a decent list of coffee offerings, and more than two sizes for drinks. My friends live right around the corner so I'm sure I'll be back!

The outside of the cafe and the porch area look better than they did when Earth Cup was there, too.

Love seeing a positive face in the morning! I orders a BEC on sea salt rosemary-- my goto. Bagels were out in ~5 minutes, and it was a delicious bit to eat with coffee later on. The shop here is pick-up only, and on some mornings when I've visited especially in the winter, it's kind of painful to wait inside because it started to get a bit cramped. More just a heads up but not a piece of feedback though since their lot is pretty small. If you're grabbing breakfast in the Rittenhouse area, this is nice option for you! Just know that you'll have to take it to-go and eat it elsewhere.

The everything bagel seasoning was very good but the bagel was mediocre. The bagel was loaded with strawberry cream cheese which had good flavor. The others had regular bagels and had better reviews of the bagels. A couple egg sandwiches were described as being "good" and a plain bagel with cream cheese was given similar review. I'm not sure it's the kind of bagel shop that I would go racing back to at any point but it was decent. A bright light was how good the staff was to work with in terms of being friendly while placing an order. Probably brought this review from a 3 to a 4 based upon the staff interaction.

When ordering coffee, I'll let them know what I want (drip coffee) with whatever kind of milk (with heavy oat milk enough to change colour) and sweetener (with sugar please). Then you let them know any sides you want. I may or may not be saying it a bit quickly, because I'm half awake, and running on auto pilot, because I've lived in the Northeast for so long. The absolutely delightful lady behind the counter got it all recorded, fired, and sorted as and when it was coming out of my mouth. Confirmed everything, collected my payment, and we kept it pumping. As soon as the coffee was ready, called me over to grab it, because it was chilly and rainy while we waited. When one of the items I was ordering was taking a long time, the staff let me know that the item was taking a while longer than expected to finish cooking. My food came out perfectly done. Also, when they pass you your food, they confirm how many things you're ordering to make sure you get all your stuff. This operation is efficient, fast, and friendly. It's inexpensive for what you're getting. Coffee is excellent. Bagels have that snappy exterior, and chewy insides. Hash browns are crisp and piping hot. Coffee is rich and dark. I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

So the order was put on the counter but since people don't like when you just take the order that you have to deliver i again had to wait and try not to interrupt the conversation making me 2 minutes late for the drop off.
