Hello all, What I'm about to tell you is unbelievable!!!!! I've been A customer for 6 years always paid my bill right on time. In March due to the country's pandemic like most Americans my job was effected..... I called and asked if they could space out my payments in four separate payments. I spoke to a girl name Melissa. I also stated I maybe selling my home due to the pandemic.... I can't spend $400 ( for renewal ) in one shot at this difficult time.... I was told by Neal the manger it's not his or the owners issues that i was effected by this pandemic! Neal told me I'd be responsible to have the new possible owner pay ME for the contract. My question to Neal was what if the new buyer don't want the centrcon bait system ???? He says well that would a mistake on there part. I said I understand but I can't force someone to buy it if they don't want it..... I respectfully said let me pay for what ever time I use it or for the time I own the house . Neals reply was NO. I asked to speak to the owner I was told the owner don't take phone calls!!!! I guess this is why Neal is so unaccommodating. Mind you I paid them for 6 years already I'm not a new customer ( roughly $2,200) always paid my bill one shot right on time. I can't believe the way I was treated... PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!! I asked lastly Melissa told me I can pay quarterly..... neals reply was oh yea only if you don't sell you house you can pay quarterly , how inhuman is that during this difficult time !!!!!!! These guys are amazing! When we first bought our house in 2015, we hired them to do an overall check. They looked over the home completely and did all necessary preventive maintenance. The next spring, we had closed gaps in our chimney without knowing we had locked in a bees nest. Knockout came immediately, removed the nest and again did maintenance to ensure we would be safe. We signed up for a contract. Greatest deal ever. We have since used the contract service for yellow jackets, ants, and all our other pest needs. They are quick to respond and get the job DONE. Spent an hour on the phone with one of their representatives (Dee), and she comforted and guided me towards choosing the best treatment for my situation. She was attentive and empathetic. Yesterday, we had the exterminator, Chris, come to treat our home for bedbugs. He listened and addressed our concerns and treated our home thoroughly. He answered all my questions and gave us pertinent information about the chemicals we were using in our home. As a landlord, who is averse to using pesticides, I generally shy away from extermination and likewise exterminators; however when a tenant recently reported bites at night, while in bed, concern arose that it might be a bed bug issue. The tenant was convinced that it was bed bugs so we scurried out to buy an off the shelf bed bug eradication kit. 60 days went by without another bite, but the kit traps were catching a few varieties of bugs and the tenant continued to be worried. So I called Knockout to assess their services and formulate a plan. Dorothy was very helpful, informative, yet tentative because, as she instructed, "we need to assess what it is", so I signed up for an inspection. The inspector - Tyrone (bug pro) arrived on schedule and started the process. He examined and identified each trapped bug. He continued to take apart the bed frame, flipping it over in search of bed bugs. He further interviewed the tenant. In the end, his assessment was that there were no bed bugs, but rather Fungus Gnats, that live in house plants, caused the bites. He further examined each house plant and found nymph Fungus Gnats... His assessment was big relief for all, as the fix was easy - change the plant soil and don't over-water. The motto to this story is: Because you never know, you call a Pro. Horrible service, just tried to book an appointment for an inspection and the gentleman was the rudest to me on the telephone. Their prices were outrageous and when i questioned the pricing he replied arrogantly as if my business was no good. i have never encountered such poor customer service from a company for a potential first time customer. safe to say i will take my business elsewhere read more

This company came last Spring to spray for silverfish in my attic. They did and excellent job and we have not seen a single bug since. Their customer care was excellent and they called me to follow up. Then 10 months later they called to ask me if I wanted a preventative treatment which was free of charge for same issue. They guy came to spray and was so nice and thoughtful! He helped me to see where problem areas come from and treated all around attic beams. Had a horrible mouse infestation in my apartment and tried two different exterminators and nothing helped until we called knockout!!! Not only was the exterminator they sent thorough but he was nice and took the time to make sure every hole was filled up and they made sure all traps and poison were placed outside of the reach of my little dog! Not only did they clear up our mice problem but all of our neighbors on our floor have told us they don't have mice anymore!! Can't say enough about how happy I am with their service! read more

so far so good, we went for the 1 year KO program so its a one time fee and it covers a number of pests. They will come out during that 12 month duration and service the house for those covered pests. They do ask that you wait 2 weeks from when last treated before calling for a follow up if the pest program persists (since it takes 2 weeks for the treatment to take effect). Our problem is with carpenter ants, the technician was Frank who was courteous and knowledgeable, he took a look around and believe the ants are all foraging and that there are no satellite nests within the structure. I'll edit this post as i monitor the ant activities. Also spoke to Andy on the phone when i originally reached out with questions about the program, very polite and informative. read more

I have had knockout come to my house on two occasions and both technicians, Jim and CJ, were thorough, professional and demonstrated exemplary service. Jim came a few weeks ago to remove a dead raccoon from underneath my house. He was prepared with a suit and mask and he removed the animal in minutes. His candor and efficiency were great, and he cleaned up beautifully before he left. A few weeks later we discovered hornets on the back of the house. CJ came with a bee suit and took care of the problem immediately. He was lovely to deal with, extremely professional and made sure to scan the perimeter of the house for any other potential issues. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the situation and his excellent service. He was a pleasure to deal with and really made sure to do everything he could to help with our current bee/hornet/any issues. Both technicians were very thorough and really took their time to make sure all current issues were addressed. I am extremely pleased with the service knockout has provided and I strongly recommend them for your pest control needs. I am a new home owner and have been dealing with service professionals nonstop for the past month. They did not make good on the original quote, and when speaking to them over the phone (on more than one occasion) they were impolite & inattentive. read more

I called Knockout after seeing evidence of mice. Enrico came a day later, and he was fantastic. He patiently pointed out all of the places they could be and explained the habits of mice. He then sealed the areas of entry, and placed 3 different types of traps around the house. He explained about follow up, and assured me all would be taken care of. A month and a half later I still have bees in my house. The treatment did not "knockout" these bees at all. They never removed the nest and since I didn't get to see the tech actually spray the hive, I'm questioning if it was done at all. It's Christmas Eve and my children found a huge wasp in the bathroom. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I talked to Dee. She was very helpful and informative. Helped me make the right choice of how to proceed in getting rid of bed bugs. First suggested that I have a specially trained dog come in to find out exactly where the bugs are. Fortunately the infestation was confined to just one bedroom (had recently gotten a new mattress !). I decided to go with the one time only HEAT treatment. Portable heater/fans are brought in to heat the ambient air temperature of the room to @ 130 degrees for over 2 hours (the bugs and eggs are literally dried up!). In addition they also applied a bed bud residual chemical treatment to all rooms. Saf, the exterminating technician, arrived exactly on time (7 a.m.) and was very friendly, polite and professional. He was very knowledgeable and well trained. He clearly explained what he would do and what to expect. In order to run multiple heaters, many power sources (some 220 volt) have to be tapped. Saf was well versed in how to safely and efficiently find the necessary power. After three weeks since this treatment, I am happy to report that all bed bugs have truly been "knocked out" of my condo ! read more

I had contacted knockout because of small any issue we had when we came back from vacation. After trying spray and traps on our own for two weeks still ants seemed likes they were getting even worst in our kitchen. I had exterminator Frank come to our house and spray inside and outside and we haven't seen one ant since! He was so nice and took the time to explain exactly what he was using and what chemicals helped specifically with my type of ants. He was thorough and really knew what he was doing and made me feel confident in their work, even explained why and how they are getting inside. I had an excellent experience with them. I had a coupon from Angie's List, and spoke with Freddy who set up the appointment very quickly and at a convenient time for me. Frank came out on the appointed day early, and offered to wait in his car until the time, but I knew my husband would be home soon so I told him to just come over. He very thoroughly checked the house and outside (my main concern was mice noises I had heard from the ceiling of my home office, which is partially underground so I didn't want the mice getting in to the rest of the house). He addressed all the concerns I had, put out sticky traps for water bugs (which conveniently disappeared around the time I set up the appointment; they must have realized an exterminator was coming and high tailed it out of the house). He also put out new granules (we had some from a while back when a friend spread some around) and put some mouse traps in the kitchen just in case. I signed up with their KO service, and Frank explained the details of the service (one year coverage; they come out whenever you see a pest, and if after two weeks the problem is still there they come back out and they come out for each type of pest that wanders in, with some exceptions). Since we have been getting strange infestations these last two summers (drain flies one summer and moths last summer) I signed up for the KO service to make sure that this summer we can live pest free. They are very professional, courteous, and do a great job. If you need an exterminator, these guys are the best! Also, they accept checks as well, which not many companies do anymore. read more

I've had a contract with Knockout Pest Control for the past three years. I have found the company to be a caring and knowledgeable organization. The telephone representatives who make the appointments have gone out of their way to try to schedule these appointments so they would be convenient. I am so appreciative of their attitude. Recently, we have repeatedly used one of their pest control experts named Frank. He has been amazing. He has a friendly and concerned attitude. In addition, he is excellent in his professional approach. I was very concerned about using pest control products because we have three beautiful indoor cats and also feed outdoor cats when they frequently visit our property. He reassured me that all of the products that he recommended were safe for pets. In addition, he explained that it might take a period of time for the situation to fully resolve. What great service- I believe the owner answers the phone - very nice. They didn't try to sell me any services besides what I asked for and they guaranteed their work. Had them put powder on shrubs to kill yellow jackets. Price was less than expected. Dealt with an exterminator once before and he tried scaring me into paying for extra services. I felt knockout was very honest. I highly recommend them. Also I called them before I put lights in my shrubs for Christmas and the owner spoke to one of his technicians and called me right back with advice on how to proceed. read more

We are giving this company, and foremost C.J. the technician who came to the home, five stars based on the prompt, courteous service we received. C.J. is an extraordinarily courteous kind young man. He took the time to explain the various treatments he applied in great detail. Within 24 hours we could see the treatment take effect and now - 2 weeks in - it appears the problem is under control. We feel confident that if the problem were to linger it will be addressed and resolved under the terms of the 30 day warranty. All and all we had a very pleasant experience with this company while dealing with a very unpleasant issue. Five stars all around - from the customer service staff who arranged an appointment within 24 hours of our call to C.J.'s professionalism and refreshingly charming persona.
