Custom 3 piece dark green suit and dress shirt from the Knot Standard
    Niko D.

Planning a wedding is hard enough without covid-19 impacting everything. Thankfully, Maggie at the Knot Standard made the process easy, enjoyable, and quick. I was adamant about the color I wanted (green), which was proving hard to find. She not only found what I wanted, but also found an even better upgraded fabric later on, at no extra cost. Prices were extremely reasonable, which is hard to find for quality MTM suits. It gets better: they added a dress shirt to my order as well, at no extra cost. The quality of the suit & shirt cannot be overlooked. I received countless complements, and haven't felt that good in a suit, ever. She took her time with the fitting, making sure the suit fit ME as best it could, not the other way around. What started as a stressful experience searching for a suit on a limited timeline was single-handedly changed by Maggie's professionalism and easy going demeanor, as well as the quality of the finished product. Look no further; this is the place.

AMAZING Service 10/10! If you are looking for a dope custom suit or tux for your wedding, Knot Standard is the place for you! Maggie is AWESOME and highly recommend using her. More details below but TLDR is this is your place if you've been looking for something to stand out on your special day! Details: I first went to Knot Standard in late 2019/early 2020 as I originally had a fall 2020 wedding where I was looking for a custom tux. I met Maggie back then and she was amazing throughout our entire process. I didn't want to get a "standard" tux and wanted something with a bit of pop and non-traditional and Maggie and I spent a few iterations brainstorming ideas and patterns. She has a great eye and once we honed in on what I like she was able to find me some of the best fabrics at a price point I could afford (which is different than most who try to upsell to the most expensive item). My wedding ended up getting moved a year to 2021 due to COVID and Maggie was super helpful through the whole process. She moved our fittings and was able to honor our original deal while still finding ways to add more to the style. As you can see from the pics below, the fit came out damn near perfect and I LOVED the styling! I got so many compliments on my wedding day on the look and even my bride was surprised at how sharp I looked. Would absolutely go back to Maggie and KS for any formal wear needs! Thanks for making my wedding day special!

All I can say is that working with Monica @ Knot Standard was one of the best decisions I made in 2018. She helped me put the perfect ensemble together for my wedding in September, and I am still getting compliments on the color, fit, and style of my suit. If you want to look your best and be the talk of the town, work with Monica!!

Superb suit buying experience. This is the place you go if you want something special. Great experience with Maggie, end to end. She really has a great eye and sets the right expectations. The pricing is reasonable for custom suits. It's a great vibe in the shop and my suit turned out insanely well. I got my custom wedding suit here and couldn't be happier!

My new favorite shirt. It's almost like wearing a t-shirt!

Getting a shirt fitted and tailored here really impressed me as I have only been to department stores and the LA Garment District's Santee Alley for suits and tailoring. The Knot Standard was a better experience due to Jocelyn and her staff. Their friendliness and fashion-conscious taste in style was nice. I like to know what works and don't when trying new items since we are all of different shapes and sizes and skin tones and age group. Their prices are on par with department stores, but I don't think you will get as personable service and relaxed experience. But, the real value I saw was potentially at higher-end price points - not just for suits but blazers and shirts as well. The shop was bright and clean, not full of hanging clothes, welcoming. And, they will come to your office or location if it's more convenient. That's great! Note I discovered Knot Standard only because of a Yelp event, so thanks yelp!

Initially, I was just going in to have a tux made for my wedding. After designing with Maggie, I decided to have my groomsmen suits made there as well. The experience Maggie provided all of us was amazing. She definitely makes you feel comfortable and holds your hand through the whole process. I made multiple trips into the store to get my tux perfect to my liking. I've received multiple compliments on our suits/tux, especially the custom liners! I would not hesitate to work with Maggie!

I had a great time during my first visit to Knot Standard. I got a consultation from the staff on which color tones work best with my skin color when choosing a shirt. I also had my measurements taken to determine the fit and design of my shirt. There's a diverse selection of colors and fabrics to choose from, all of which look high quality. Additionally, they do other clothing customizations, such as blazers. It takes about 4 weeks to get the shirt made, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it! Thanks Jocelyn and Brittany for making the experience great!

    Killer custom short sleeve...Thanks Jocelyn!

So many other shops give you a strict 90-minute window, pressure you to make a quick decision, and rush you out the door. Papers and Petals was a complete breath of fresh air. I specifically worked with the owner, Georgette, and one of their amazing consultants, Paige. They let me take my time, listened closely to everything I loved and didn't like about each dress, and used that exact feedback to pull options until they found my perfect dress. They were so patient, letting me retry favorites and go back and forth until I was 100% certain and so incredibly excited.
