    Sweet!

I had to admire the cakes and baked goods on my way back to the parking lot yesterday after a full fun day at Knotts! The cakes looked amazing! I was just browsing but still usually staff greet you when you come into places. Maybe they were tired tonight. Or maybe too busy helping the one other couple in there with me. That's ok, but I think if you want people to browse longer or consider buying stuff, they should feel welcomed. Anyway, I'd consider getting a treat next time!

We stopped by on a weekday afternoon after a trip to Knott's Berry Farm, and the place was pleasantly quiet. The cashier was wonderfully patient, impressive, considering I was locked in a life or death battle of indecision between the classic boysenberry tart and the version with crumble. Both looked absolutely scrumptious but I ultimately chose the crumble-topped one to balance out the sweetness. I didnt sample anything else this time, but boysenberry was my mission, and given that is what I came here for I feel I chose wisely.

We wanted to try some boysenberry desserts. Get the boysenberry tart, not the pie! The pie has a bunch of other fillings like cake and cookie bits. The tart, though, is stuffed with boysenberry. I would choose the tart over the pie any day. But both were pretty good. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed.

Seasonal Gingerbread Man available at "The Farm Bakery." - Knott's Berry Farm. 12/13/2024.

"Run, run, run, as fast as you can...you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man!" Growing up hearing this catchphrase from the beloved children's story & eating homemade gingerbread brings back wonderful childhood memories especially during the holidays. In fact, one of my favourite holiday treats is still a good gingerbread cookie...shaped like "The Gingerbread Man," of course. Speaking of gingerbread, you probably already know about the now viral mouse-shaped gingerbread cookies at the "other" amusement park here in Orange County. But...if you aren't interested in chasing after that nearly impossible-to-get cookie, nor do you want to deal with the ridiculous crowds, there are other options to satisfy that craving. "Where?!?!?" You ask??? At The Farm Bakery at Knott's Berry Farm! Located in the Berry Marketplace shopping area (just outside the amusement park), The Farm Bakery is a hidden gem. Although it's not the fanciest nor is it an "IG-worthy" or gourmet bakery, they do offer a decent variety of treats including cookies, fruit turnovers, cupcakes, brownies, pies, boysenberry and Snoopy-themed treats, beverages, & even custom cakes. They also offer some of the best gingerbread man cookies I've had in a long time. The gingerbread cookies are perfectly spiced (not too overpowering), soft, fresh, & generous in size. Only available seasonally, they do sell out quickly, so if you enjoy gingerbread, get it before it's gone. Bonus: If you come at just the right time, you'll be able to snag a fresh gingerbread cookie (or two or three) without all the long lines & hassle. If you're craving a sweet treat & you're in the area of Knott's Berry Farm, check out The Farm Bakery. P.S. --- Dear Knott's Farm Bakery: If you're reading this, Please-Please-Please bring back those delicious mini pineapple upside down cakes! They were amazing!

Knotts bakery is outside of the park. It is located right by Mrs. Knotts. They have a large variety of goodies. Prices are standard for a theme park. The service felt rushed and unhelpful. I had the apple turnover. It was OK. It wa larger than I'm used to so the price paid was with it. Plenty of apple filling.

So yummy! And as big as my hand!

The staff is so friendly at Knott's Bakery. You walk in and everything looks so delicious that it's hard to choose. On the latest visit we had the Snoopy Santa cookie which was yummy and cute. The boysenberry cookie was meh. It was essentially just a purple sugar cookie with boysenberry sprinkles. The color makes it a novelty. The best by far was the gingerbread man. It was full of flavor and soft, unlike most gingerbread cookies which are hard. I would get the gingerbread man again in a heartbeat!

I used to get boysenberry pies all the time. This time when we got it, it seemed like there wasn't much boysenberries in it.

While looking for a sweet treat after a day of fun at Knott's Berry Farm theme park, I happened to stop here. Upon entering the bakery, I was warmly greeted by employee Audrey, then asked her if the bakery had any vegan options available. Audrey quickly replied to me that yes, the bakery has two vegan options: a vegan cupcake as well as a vegan fruit tart. Since both vegan dessert options were available, I purchased both the cupcake and tart since there was only one left of both items. Upon eating the tart, it was pretty to look at since it was topped with fresh berries and delicious to eat. The cupcake was dense yet moist and topped with purple icing since it's the Halloween season. Now the I know that these desserts are available, I definitely plan to make stopping by the bakery a new tradition whenever I visit Knott's Berry Farm.

Knotts Farm Bakery located outside of the park. They have lots of goodies! I just couldn't resist the temptation. They even have some vegan items! So of course I had to try one lol I grabbed the vegan cupcake and fruit tart. The fruit tart was delicious. Everything about it was fresh and perfect. The vegan cupcake ended up in the trash. I didn't care for it much, I've had plenty of vegan cupcakes that are far better. The purple mousse on top was pretty looking. But the taste wasn't there. And the chocolate cake was dry.

We came to Knotts just to pick up a boysenberry pie. We drove around the parking lot for 30 mins and there were no parking places. Finally I drove to the exit and asked the worker how do I just buy a pie , I don't want to shop or go into the park. His exact words " sorry our parking sucks " Seriously !! I left and drove away. Found a parking place about a mile away ....so ya ...I walked to got the pie. The was great but they need to rethink about people who just want to pick up a bakery item.

Since we were already in Orange County, we stopped by a bakery at the Source Mall. I bought several pastries there. The fresh cream bread was very delicious. I didn't try the custard cream bread because my younger brothers ate it, so I can't really comment on the taste. I also haven't tried the pecan pie yet. Lately, Dubai chocolate cookies have been extremely popular and trendy, so I asked whether this bakery had them. They said yes, so I bought one for $6.75. However, when I tried it this morning, it was absolutely not a Dubai chocolate cookie. It was basically just a chocolate pie. There was no pistachio flavor at all, and no pistachios inside--just a very ordinary chocolate pie. That part was extremely disappointing. Also, yesterday I asked the bakery if they could provide paper plates so we could cut and share the pastries, but she said they didn't have any. Other bakeries usually provide paper plates, so it was disappointing as well.

Came in for a birthday cake 2 weeks ago and this came bagged up at the order pick up station; the same birthday cake I got today for another loved one didn't come bagged, so after the gal who took my order left for the next guest, I asked the cashier (she had on a different color shirt) for the very big bags they have and yep, same no energy, no smiles vibe. Management, please look out for your team, or find ways to relocate non-customer service people into departments where they don't have to deal with people/face to face interactions. I'm surprised they don't have self ordering kiosks, that'd help a lot of "stressed" employees who don't have the capacity to provide basic customer service and to alleviate a lot of uncomfortable, hostile interactions. Porto's is great- food, pastries, and cakes hardly ever miss. It's always the human interaction part that really messes it up for companies of all sorts. Nothing personal, just sharing my very uncomfortable experience, talk about being unwelcome. Hope those 2 girls end up having a better day and finding their energy and smiles. Actually, shout out to the gal stationed at the entryway, she smiled and said good morning, welcome, hello to everyone walking in. Keep up the great attitude, thank you!

Yet recently I've been coming and truly haven't been enjoying it the same. I used to come and study or work as I enjoyed their drinks and baked goods. The environment is usually buzzing with more people working or studying or groups of people talking. Their pastries are always good and yummy which is a BIG hit. Yet I am a big coffee person, the quality of the coffees and drinks have gone down hill a lot. I would always order the Campfire latte or the Smoking Spaniard latte (when it still had cardamom in it) and would LOVE it. But now when I order drinks, most of them aren't very good or are missing flavors. The Smoking Spaniard is still yummy yet it used to be sooo much better back in the day, now it taste more like a regular spanish latte. I always see the new seasonal drinks and menu and get so excited to try them just incase I find a new favorite. Most of them have been a miss sadly :( The fruit lattes and drinks from their seasonal menu usually has actual chunks of fruit in it which makes it hard to drink and you have to chew while drinking a latte ;( not my fave. I went in yesterday to try their summer '26 seasonal drinks which is Yakult! I was sooo excited. A blueberry Yakult matcha latte! yummy! I got there, got a new earl grey lemon loaf from the bakery, got my blueberry Yakult matcha latte and sat down to try. Sadly, it didn't hit... the blueberries are still super chunky so I had to use 2 different straws because my first one got stuck with blueberries in it. The Yakult foam was really good but the blueberries weren't :( I HIGHLY recommend when making fruit syrups for coffee, boil down the fruit and blend it or strain out the big pieces. I sadly have stopped really coming to Smoking Tiger so often because I haven't been impressed and other coffee shops have been popping up that has better quality now :( Smoking Tiger has been focusing more on quantity of stores rather than quality of their food and drinks.

A perfect Cafe that made my day...was Tous Les Jours (It means everyday!)…read more I visited Tous Les Jours on a Thursday around 2:15 p.m. and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. From the gold and white décor to the soft jazz playing throughout the café, the entire space feels elegant, peaceful, and welcoming. One thing I really enjoyed was the self-serve bakery experience. You grab a tray when you walk in and choose from a selection of fresh pastries, breads, croissants, cookies, macarons, cakes, pies, tarts, and so much more. There truly is something for everyone. I ordered the Honey Lavender Matcha and a chocolate muffin and spent about 11bucks. Let me just say, both were excellent. The matcha was perfectly balanced with earthy matcha, honey, and lavender without being overly sweet. The chocolate muffin was soft, moist, and filled with a rich chocolate center that made every bite even better. I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and presentation. Many of the fresh bakery items were individually wrapped and sealed, while others were beautifully displayed behind glass, giving the café a polished and upscale feel. What really stood out to me was the value. I spent less here than I had at another coffee shop earlier that week, yet left feeling like I received so much more. The quality, atmosphere, food, and overall experience made it feel like money well spent. Whether you're looking for a place to study, work remotely, enjoy a coffee date, meet a friend, or simply treat yourself, Tous Les Jours is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back to try more from their bakery because there were far too many delicious options to choose from in just one visit.

The Strawberry Mascarpone Tiramisu Cake from Tous les Jours is easily one of the best cakes I've…read moreever had. What I love most is how light and pillowy it is. The sponge is incredibly soft, and the mascarpone cream is light, airy, and not overly sweet, making every bite feel perfectly balanced. The fresh strawberries add just the right amount of sweetness and a slight tartness that complements the delicate cream beautifully. This isn't one of those heavy, overly rich cakes that leave you feeling full after a slice. It's so light and refreshing that it's hard to stop at just one piece. I chose this cake for my birthday, and it was the perfect celebration cake. If you enjoy desserts that are elegant, fluffy, and just sweet enough, I highly recommend giving this one a try. I'll definitely be ordering it again!
