I'm so excited I finally found my way here! I met Tina a few years ago when I was sitting in Marinos chair crying after a way too short haircut. Tina had heard me talk about how my hair want from almost to my waist up to my neck... she came over to me with such love and goodness and said, if it's okay with Marino, I'd like to take you on as my client. He was just about to do so himself. God was clearly working between the three of us.. over the next year Tina worked on me with love and care, In a short period of time, my hair was down the middle of my back. And the funny thing is, she never even ever put extensions in. She recognized that I wasn't really a candidate because my hair was way too thick. ....anyway she brought me back to life and has spent a lot of love time and energy. .. my hair is in the middle of my back again. Sometimes Tina will fit me in and work late just like she'd do for anyone. I've seen her work. She's fantastic, professional and full of love. I saw a bad review on here and lades let me assure you its not the truth. I saw all of the pictures that went along with that story. It's interesting because there was a time we wouldn't allow her to take a new client who she was willing to help, because we knew it would turn into a freebie ...I know Tinas work, and that photo is a misrepresentation of what Tina actually did for her. You should see what that girls before and after pics really look like. Unfortunately Tina is not allowed to give a rebuttal. Which is sad, because some poor girl that needs Tinas genuine loving help might be missing out because of an untruth. . I honestly don't know what I'd ever do, had she not come into my life and get my hair back! And a fun joyous time it's been, changing my color from dark brown to blonde and back... she's been very good to me. Tina is an amazing hair stylist in more than just one way I have blonde hair which is always just a little harder to deal with than darker hair! I just moved to Michigan and was looking for a stylist too remove my great lengths extensions and cut color and style my short blonde hair, after going thru dozens and dozens of stylist I'm always nervous while looking for somebody new.. When I came across Tina's ad on yelp I knew that was the salon I wanted to try (after reading the amazing reviews she's had) I called her and made and appointment for the very next day! She is very flexible with making appointments, she genuinely cares about making her clients happy. When I got to the salon it was a cute and comfy atmosphere Tina said hello and introduced herself immediately, she is a very friendly woman and has great conversation and very patient! I had forgot to mention to her on the phone about my cut and color I needed but told me it was no problem and she would be able to take care of it. After removing my old extensions she colored my hair and warned me that if we put a toner in my hair it could turn it a slight violet color for a few days but would wash out (alternative was orange and brassy because of my previous hair salon attempts..) I told her to go ahead and tone it. After we dried my hair it wasn't even violet at all!! She did such an amazing job with my color and cut! Her prices are completely reasonable and comfortable and her work is exceptional! I absolutely love my new style! I'll be going back to Tina to put my great length extensions back in within a couple weeks! I definitely would recommend her! read more

After of about 5 years of going through hair extension disasters I was ready to give up and submit to my thin short hair for life. Each stylist I went to prior to visiting Tina seemed to always claim to be the best, with their secret special ways of application that promised life changing results. The outcome- hair ripping out, matting to my head, falling out in clumps... a nightmare for anyone trying to grow their hair. When I first met Tina I was skeptical. I have literally spent thousands of dollars over the years in attempt to achieve beautiful, thick, long hair. Tina was extremely knowledgeable and guided me throughout the process. I felt like she actually cared about my hair and not just In it to make money off of me. I was also highly impressed with her amount of continued education to keep up to date on the latest hair trends. She has the most certifications than I have ever seen in a salon. In addition, Tina is not your typical stylist who usually irritates me with meaningless questions to try to build report. She is very personable and I actually enjoy my time with her. I have had her apply 2 sets of extensions to my hair in the last few months and could not be happier with her services. All i can say is thank you to Knox salon for saving my hair, .. i had got my hair cut at a upscale salon and the stylist cut 3 inches off the length and put so many layers i felt so bad about how it looked i had to keep it up i was devastated, I came across Knox on-line so i called i was crying and frantic ,Tina answered and was so sincere she told me to come right over she took the time to tell me she understands and she could help me ..I've never had a stylist care so much she went on a Sunday got my hair extensions and on Monday she did what i call a hair miracle!! she taught me how to care for my extensions and she is just a heart felt person full of passion for her job and clients , the end result is amazing my hair is long and beautiful again it looks so natural i cant even feel the extensions! i recommend Knox salon to anyone!! I had a regular salon & hairdresser I went to and had an appointment set up for a Thursday. On the Monday I got a call that My grandfather in Canada with cancer took a turn for the worse and I had to leave on Tuesday morning if I wanted to see him. My hair needed a cut badly. My regular salon is Closed on Mondays so I looked around online & after reading Great reviews on yellowpages.com I called KNOX salon. Tina was so accommodating and squeezed me in Monday night for a haircut !!!! Wow !! The salon is absolutely beautiful & so very clean. She took her time & didnt rush at all like some hair stylists do. Well..After receiving the Best Haircut I have had in my life. I refuse to let any other hairdresser touch my hair! She is amazing. I am so picky with my layers because I like to be able to use a straighter on it, and Tina is Fantastic ! Knox Salon & Spa is by far the best salon I have been too. The owner, Tina, is not only an amazing person but just as talented. I had been talking to Tina for many months about her hair extensions, worried that they would damage my hair. I had extensions about 8 years ago in which the extensions continually came out pulling my hair out with them, so needless to say I had many questions and concerns. Tina reassured me that the products she uses are the best, basically damage free and walked me through every step. I have had these extensions in for over a month now without any loss or pullout, which is already a win compared to my last experience. I previously had moved up from Florida. I was looking for a place to get new hair extensions put in. I made some phone calls from salons listed online and spoke with Tina at Knox Salon. I finally found someone knowledgeable about extensions!We set up a consultation appointment and I left very excited. I now have my beautiful long blonde hair back again! Tina was amazing! After a short consultation, she was able to know exactly what I needed. I went back the next week, had a Brazilian blowout, highlights, and hair extensions. The hair is nothing short of beautiful, and she took time to go over how to take care of it (which I really appreciated since I've never had them before!!). The next day at work I had nothing but compliments, and none of my coworkers could tell where my real hair was versus the extensions. I have been going here for a few years now and am so thankful for finding such a professional as Tina. I was in the salon today when Stacey B. came in for her consultation today. I cannot even believe she has the nerve to post a negative review. She was there for about 6 minutes and was "the bitch" in the situation. Tina tried to assess and bring different options to her and she raised her hands and said "I'm not trying to hear that!" Then stomped out.
