Unfortunately my husbands work schedule changed and I did not have childcare in the mornings to go workout. I signed a 6 month contract, but stopped going in January. I believe My last month was April. I was still paying $105 for the reminder of my contract, but my card got compromised. I had one month left and since I hadn't been going, I decided not to go in and update my card and give them $100+ for a gym I wasn't using. They the. Tried to charge my card for an additional month after my contract ended! I received several texts asking to pay and they said "I'll see what I can do about getting this last payment down" I told them I hadn't been there in months. They're now sent me to collections for $124 and I get phone calls from corporate. It's so weird that they're this aggressive over $105 when I WASNT EVEN UTILIZING THE GYM. This was a great option for a quick workout, and I would have loved to return if I ever was able to get consistent childcare In the mornings (I work PM so AM Is my only option) but now I know they won't welcome me back and I for sure wouldn't want to. Being a small business owner myself, you should learn the habits of your clients and adjust accordingly. You can literally pull a report and see I hadn't been coming. It wasn't until coming across Coach Gabe, Coach Ant, Coach Rey and Coach Mya at Rooted Legacy that made me feel comfortable taking on a new skill later in life. Both have decades of experience and still keep their skills sharp by competing. The gym has only been open a year and in that time there have been growing pains but they continue to learn and make the training challenging, educational and fun.

Here are the reasons why I enjoy this gym: The coaches are very experienced, encouraging and personable. They will personally correct your moves so you can improve your techniques. For me, that is what separates them from some other boxing chains around here. Additionally, the coaches switch up the curriculum so you don't get bored! They also do pad works with you in addition to pad work with other gym goers. This is so much better than just punching bags because it is way more dynamic and realistic. I really like the variety of classes here. They don't have too many time slots yet but I like there are Muay Thai classes, pad and bag combination workshops, boxing bootcamps and also Jr Muay Thai classes that my son loves. Did I mention Kids classes are the cutest!? All the coaches offer personal training too so if the timing does not work, you have the option of booking your private time. The thing that I love about the place is it has all the equipment I need, has Wi-Fi so I can watch my iPad well I'm "suffering", and is clean. The gym also has a great trainer, Stacey, who has really help me with my balance, Core, and building up my strength. She was very careful not to aggravate arthritis in different parts of my body throughout this whole process. The next outstanding part is the price. Very reasonable and open literally 24 hours. What I don't understand is why more people don't take advantage of this, an inexpensive way to stay in great shape.
