So the pho broth is delicious and the veggies and herbs are fresh. Why can't I get decent meat? The first time I tried it I had chicken bones and fat also. $17.00 for broth and veggies is crazy.

I was born and raised in this area but when I got married, my husband and I moved to Florida, then Texas. We recently moved back to Marietta. One thing I knew wasn't the best in the area was the food scene. There are some very good places but when you've been to big cities like Miami and Dallas, your standards are a little high. (I know it makes us sound uppity, but we like good food!‍) But let me tell you this place does not get enough credit/recognition as it should! But this place was absolutely amazing. We ordered multiple things to try and every dish blew us away!!! I will tell everyone I know to go here! -The Pho was so flavorful! -The Gochujang chicken over rice was my favorite thing, it is spicy but not over the top. -Bao buns were the best we've ever had, soft pillowy buns and fall apart pork belly - I love that I could pick the sweetness level of my Bubble tea drink! I would put this restaurant up against any other Korean/Vietnamese location we've ever been to! AND they are not expensive and clean!!! Seriously if you get a chance to go....GO!!

The music is always to relaxing and the lighting is always warm and cozy. We've made it our 'norm' to bring our fur babies here. We called ahead of time the first time to make sure if it was ok and they told us it was perfectly fine. The owner loved our Akita Pup. The food is always ONPOINT here. They waiters and waitresses always have the best patience, especially when my kids are indecisive about what they want because EVERYTHING !!! IS !!! AMAZING !!! HERE !!! It's always hard to decide what to eat.

We drove through the city and this place came up the drinks are amazing here, a bit expensive but worth the fresh fruit prices. All the food is delicious and they worked with all my allergies also. Everyone was very nice! Come on by for great food and people!

seriously the best freaking restaurant in the area! My husband I used to live in Seoul, South Korea and the food/drinks here are spot on to what we would get in SK. Their prices are extremely reasonable with HUGE portions! This place is perfect if you're looking for a chill environment whether it be for date night, business meeting or bringing the whole family! UPDATE: We came back the very next day... this is now my absolutely favorite restaurant. We will happily drive from Athens to this restaurant any day of the week! everything is fresh, FULL OF FLAVOR. I pretty much happy danced the entire time I ate. In other words, YES you absolutely HAVE to eat here!

I don't think I've ever been to a Vietnamese restaurant with so many options! The moment I saw the menu, I told my boyfriend, "This is where we're eating today." And I'm so glad I made that decision. The moment we stepped inside, we already had a feeling we picked the right place. The old-school interior, the '70s and '80s music playing in the background, and the overall vibe just made me think, "Yeah, this place is going to be good." We ordered the gỏi đu đủ tôm thịt (green papaya salad with shrimp and pork), bánh bột lọc (tapioca dumplings), bánh mì thịt heo (grilled pork bánh mì), phở tái sườn bò (beef noodle soup with rare steak and beef ribs), and phở đặc biệt (beef pho combo). For the drink, we ordered iced vietnames coffee. The green papaya salad wasn't too fishy from the fish sauce, and I really enjoyed the subtle sweetness and how light and refreshing it tasted. The bánh bột lọc was a 10/10 for me. The dipping sauce and fried onions made it even better. It just disappeared into my mouth! I could've easily eaten more. When we ordered the bánh mì, we didn't really read the description or realize how big it would be. When it came out, we were shocked by the size! I also liked that the vegetables were served on the side, so we could add as much or as little as we wanted. It tasted amazing, and we enjoyed every bite. We actually ordered so many appetizers because we thought the pho portions were going to be small. Based on the reference photos and the price, we weren't expecting the bowls to be that big. But when the pho came out, we were shocked. The bowls were huge! We definitely underestimated the portion sizes here. One thing I noticed about the pho was that it tasted a little different from what I'm used to. The broth was much more herbal and aromatic, with a gentler taste rather than that strong, pungent hit on the tongue. It made me wonder if this is closer to what traditional Vietnamese pho is supposed to taste like. Just a heads-up, you pay at the counter when you're done eating rather than waiting for the server to bring the check. On our way out, we also grabbed a steamed rice cake to take home. Definitely try one if you see them because they're so good! I actually think they taste even better at room temperature rather than heated up. Everything we ordered came in such generous portions, especially for the price. Nothing tasted overly salty or overpowering, which I really appreciated. Everything tasted fresh, and I was genuinely impressed by the quality, portions, and value. I'm so glad we decided to try this place. With such a huge menu, there are already so many other dishes I want to come back for!

Don't judge the book by its cover!…read more If you want an authentic Vietnamese food look no further. Service is very quick all the time, food comes out fresh and piping hot, reasonably priced and generous portions. If you're in a rush and haaangry this is the placeto be! Happy tummy!

The hours are a little bit limited and I ended up getting brunch from them. The space is small and somewhat receded from the main street so I first drove by without noticing it. The end result was a small but delicious banh mi filled with marinated tofu, for which I appreciate the option to do a little customization on the toppings. They emphasize their house, pickled carrots and daikon. I also got a tea that delivered strongly on flavor. I took some noodles to eat later, and these had apparently the same marinated tofu, which was still good as well as a slight excess of salty sauce. The place has its limitations, but it is a success in offering genuinely Vietnamese and vegetarian cuisine.

They pulled a clump of bean sprouts out on to the side plate without checking them. A chunk of rancid bits in the middle rendered the whole pile a do not eat. The steamed shrimp dumplings had a curiously old shrimp taste as well. I've had these MANY times at other Asian joints. They were off. The orange chicken was a lot of breading, and very little chicken. Not what was pictured in their official photos. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was served 2/3 full and a bit too thick, but tasted good. Dining room was super clean. Service was earnest but occasionally a bit hard to get. South Charleston parking is pretty easy to find.
