Some of the best coffee I've had in my life. Hands down the best coffee shop in Norfolk. A lot of coffee shops often serve bitter/burnt tasting coffee; nothing of the sort here. After trying my first drink here, I immediately walked back in to complement them on the taste. Kobros makes their own house syrups that rotate throughout the year so it's always a nice treat to try their craft lattes (check out their Instagram for the latest flavor). They'll also partner with other businesses from time to time to serve food in-house or go serve coffee at a local brunch spot. Be sure to stop by and try Kobros coffee! The owners take pride in making sure you have the best experience!

Tiny little place. No frills, just a straight up coffee bar with a limited menu. This can be a good thing if the roast is excellent. This one is. They have a weekly craft latte. This week was citrus vanilla. I had it with oat milk. I honestly was scared because I wasn't sure about the flavors in a latte. I kind of hated it. I found it so gross that I nearly spit it out. The spouse loved it. I think if there had been some sweetness to it? Then it wouldn't be this weird bitter orange flavor. So why 4 stars if I hated the drink? Because I experimented with something new and the drink is well made. It didn't make me sick (no secret dairy in it). Not their fault that I didn't like the flavor profile. The spouse got a plain latte and he said it was really good. Kid got an iced latte - mocha, vanilla, lavender. The twin brothers are friendly and engaging, I enjoyed chatting with them. A little freaky (in a good way) hearing the same voice coming out of two different people. I can see why they have so many well deserved good reviews. We will go back (the prices are great, especially for the location) but I won't be so adventurous next time.

Great customer service and drinks. I ordered the matcha and craft coffee (orange), and it was SOOO delicious. They made the drinks fast with great flavor. They used quality matcha powder and whisked it in front of us. There were plants and a cool light that looks like a plant in the middle. Definitely worth the try.

This little hidden gem was difficult to find but well worth it. Staff was super pleasant. The place was very cute. I ordered a cold brew, pumpkin spice, coffee, hands-down one of the best cold brew coffees I've had in the area! Far as pricing goes, I feel that pricing is very reasonable compared to most coffee houses. This place is a must stop I will be back .

The shop was a bit small but full of character. I loved the decor and the comfy seating. The staff was really friendly too. I knew the coffee was going to be good as soon as I walked in- high quality grinders and espresso machines, no frills on the menu but a couple specials and options for non-coffee lovers; it was perfect. I got their Spooky Charcoal Blood Orange latte with oat milk, and I loved it! My husband is a bit of a coffee connoisseur (read: coffee snob ;) ) and he really enjoyed the flavor profile of his americano. We'll definitely be back and probably buy a bag of beans too. We love finding local coffee shops that roast their own beans!

Really great coffee! A bunch of my friends are regulars here and kept hyping it up to me, definitely didn't disappoint! I'd say this is more of "quick stop for coffee" vibe as opposed to a cafe where you can stop by, take a seat/table and get work done, etc. Totally nothing wrong with that, I thought it was actually pretty unique.

Always fun to find small local coffee shops while traveling around. This shop was so fun to go in, menu is limited but the quality is amazing. Syrups made in house, everything made to order. You can tell lots of care goes into every order and the baristas are super nice. Love talking to friendly people that make your day start off on the right foot.

Great espresso, great people and an amazing interior. Every time I visit I always order the current craft latte, this time was the cardamom con leche. They always always always find an amazing way to bring these flavors and drinks to life. It's quite amazing seeing how unique and original the lattes are, I cannot think of anywhere else that can really compare. The owners are always full of life and are quick to spark a conversation, they definitely took their time with their other employees because they always have that same energy with the customers. The seating area is small but makes for a personal experience while visiting. Weather it's to sit and study or to enjoy your time alone it's very calming to have a quiet place. The motorcycle in the corner is always iconic to see. Overall this is one of the first coffee shops I fell in love with when I arrived The lattes are perfect, the service is always a delight can't wait for my next order

The vibe is distinct - badass, free spirit, masculine.... Goes with the very minimalistic bar , not a lot of froo-froo (frills).... Just 4 selections of pastries: coffee cake, croissant, cookies and muffins. I ordered the dirty chai and a slice of coffee to go. While waiting I checked out the motorcycle prop (not sure if it's working) and open shelves of coffee beans and a T-Shirt with a coffee pot as logo on the left chest. There were about 5 other customers sitting in the corner which seats probably 10 people. My phone died so no pictures. Only the to go dirty Chai and coffee cake... Coffee cake was slightly cool from being refrigerated (not freshly baked??) but it was still scrumptious and moist. Dirty Chai was tad watered down but chai aroma is there...

I was in need for some caffeine before I head over the Chrysler Museum and I came across Kobros Coffee on a whim. I'm sure glad I did. They change their Craft Lattes every week, so I bummed to find that the many flavors that I had seen on Yelp, they were not serving. Nevertheless I tried their Mocha Iced Latte with Oat Milk and Matcha Iced Latte with Oat and extra sweet. As for pastries (unfortunately not pictures) I tried their Lavender Scone and Chocolate croissant. The Lavender looked and basically tasted like a cookie was delicious. The Chocolate Croissant was good but would have been a lot better if it was warm.

cool hipster coffee joint. I really love coffee and the funky flavors of the week they do. I don't live close but liked the atmosphere. Not the biggest coffee joint but that made it cool. Definitely get a coffee to go and explore the area. they take credit cards and have some baked good. If i remember correctly, they sell coffee beans- WHOLE beans. Parking is terrible. street parking only. that's not fun. but the coffee is WORTH IT!!

This coffee shop has now become my favorite coffee shop of all time! I love that they make homemade syrups and they always compliment the season I.e. watermelon, peach flavor for the summer. I am bummed they don't offer decaf tho but the coffee is so smooth that it doesn't upset my stomach. They offer one size drink and for the price, I feel it's a tad bit on the expensive side. They also offer oat milk for us lactose intolerants lol and pastries. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Coffee snobs.. please go and check them out!!

I love their weekly specials. It's a great place to get your coffee for the day! This was a couple of weeks ago, but their weekly drinks included lemon and brown sugar flavors. For those who haven't been, Kobros post on their insta story their weekly special flavors/drinks for the week. My boyfriend goes here every weekend when he has the chance! They have interesting spritz/coffee mixes too.

I went there for the first time yesterday. It was the first stop on a Coffee Crawl with a meetup group. I made the mistake of going there on an empty stomach. This is a nice place to go if you want to have a relaxing cup of coffee. The barista wanted to give me a French vanilla latte after I specifically asked for a mocha latte. It took a few minutes, bit I finally received my mocha latte. The latte was really good. read more

Stumbled across this coffee shop while visiting some friends in Norfolk. All of the employees we encountered were super friendly and eager to help us. I ordered the specialty latte at the time which was an agave fig latte with locally picked figs. Oh. My. God. It was one of the best lattes I've ever had. The flavor was so unique, and it had a hint of sweetness but not too much. This is a latte that I hope I can come back and have again one day. That latte makes me excited for whatever other fun flavors they may create! Cannot wait to come back and try something different! read more

Kobros is hip, clean, and dimly lit for your hipster coffee aesthetic dreams. The menu is a little small but mighty in the quality they offer. They have rotating fun flavors for latte lovers both casual and connoisseurs. The location is closer to Colley x 21st st., so plan to park (for free!) either in the shopping center or street parking. The staff is approachable and have great recommendations. The guy who served my friend and I convinced us to get their matcha latte, and I got it with oat milk and lightly sweetened with their house0made vanilla syrup. read more

I like the coffee here and I live nearby but it is definitely not a place to hang out. Basically there just aren't comfortable places or nooks. I usually understand where reviewers are coming from but am mystified on the over- the - top reviews in the same time frame. But darn good coffee. I'm very much an aficionado of coffee, and Kobros is by far the best coffee shop in the 757. Bar none. Quirky and creative vibes throughout the space and the menu. The rotating craft lattes are unbelievably good, and I'm not at all someone who drinks flavored lattes. Properly brewed third wave espresso (seems to be rotating, which is incredible). Incredible (and fresh, which is key) retail coffee selection, albeit small. Only pet peeve, they're closed on Wednesdays. read more

This place is okay. It doesn't have a cozy coffee shop feel to it. It's definitely not a place to hang out at for a long period of time. The service was okay and the coffee was okay. The chairs are not comfortable. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again, but if I was nearby and just wanted to grab a drink and go then I'd might. read more

Kobros is my favorite coffee place in Norfolk! The service is always quick and friendly, the specialty craft lattes are amazing and so creative, and the shop is nice and clean. It's a small space so it isn't great to do work in, but is perfect for grab and go. Their craft lattes change flavors each week and each one I've had is somehow better than the last. I also appreciate that they're one of the very few coffee shops that don't charge extra for oat milk. If you haven't tried Kobros yet, you need to! read more

Service was friendly and fast. Asked for vanilla sweetener and they told me they make their vanilla flavoring in-house, which was good! I asked for half&half for my cold brew, but they only had whole milk. Also, the space is pretty small without many tables, so not a coffeeshop to bring a laptop and try to get work done in. read more

Don't think, just come here to get your coffee. The vibes here are modern and relaxed. The owners are super friendly and really nice. I'm from out of town and heard rave reviews about their coffee. I really dig KOBROS set up and aesthetics. It's very inviting and the staff are super friendly. I ordered the Peach Latte with oatmilk because it's apparently going into the vault this season. At first I was hesitant but I'm glad I tried it. It's really rich in flavor for a latte and I wish I had ordered a larger size. Coffee was great, definitely know what they're doing in there. They got our drinks out very quickly too. There wasn't a lunch menu but they had a handful of baked goods. The store itself is relatively small, not a crazy amount of indoor seating either, although they do have some seating outside. It's kind of noisy inside due to the coffee grinders and whatnot but it's not bad at all. Atmosphere is moody with dimmer lighting but is still cozy with plenty of natural lighting and plants. read more

By far my favorite coffee spot in the area -- I try to come over the bridge every week for their unique delectable craft lattes. My husband who is usually a "just black " coffee drinker, usually a pour over, drip, or cold brew, also has opted to ordering the craft lattes because they're that good. Kobros has a lot to offer to their clients and you receive the best customer service. Not only do they sling out delicious coffee, but the brothers who own the establishment are personal, kind, and just all around great people. This is a must stop by kind of place! This is the perfect spot for superb coffee during the pandemic life. The outdoor setting is perfect for meeting friends and staying safe while enjoying expertly crafted lattes. Plenty of street parking available on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The Tahitian vanilla/cinnamon latte with oat milk was on point! Stopped here with my mom and sister to get a coffee after lunch. The coffee shop is very small so we were not able to sit and enjoy out cup of coffee like we usually do. I got the black pepper lavender latter which was ok but I would not order again. Coffee beans were very good though. read more

Hands down, best coffee in the area. My fiancé is a total coffee snob, and was very impressed the baristas were being so particular about the shots they were pulling and paying extra attention to detail like extraction rate, grind setting as the day goes by, etc. This is literally the ONLY coffee place around here we have been that also gives you a free drink with a purchase of a bag of coffee beans. (Why this isn't a common practice around here is a mystery--coffee beans cost $15+ for 12 oz!) Their craft lattes are delicious! Had one with a cara cara orange syrup and another with cherry. it's a bit loud inside for my taste, but who cares. This is THE place! read more

I will be the first to review this wonderful caffeination station in the rail roads district of park place! Beforehand whenever I had not yet tried Ko Bros , I though "another café, when there are already café?" But my friend told me I would be a silly person to not go try the craft coffees from the kobro as they are big coffee experts and ethiosoasts, and boy am I happy that I did! The pore over was made with love and care and the brothers were very nice and kind to explain all of the difference coffees that they had and the tasting notes. They are like coffee somaliers! Specialty lattes and classic espressos, the Kobro do it all! And the best of all is they are brothers (which is why it is named that) so it is a family business. There hours are only Saturday and Sundays, but when you need the weekend Java to put the pep in your step, you should give them a try and have the coffee there. read more

One of the best coffee shops in Norfolk. They have rotating line of creative latte flavors that always on point. There's usually a motorcycle just sitting inside, sometimes they have one for sale in there. Baristas are super friendly and helpful. Music is on point always. It's a real like local's hangout, everyone seems to know each other. They sell some bags of coffee, and there's even a little bookshelf with some cheap but solid book finds. read more

Besides the coffee, the aesthetic was so cozy & relaxed with great music and overall atmosphere.
