In each case, the interaction at the store has been easy and friendly, and the problems resolved swiftly. I was frustrated at one point, but it turned out to be my own fault: Rather than calling or dropping by the store, I was sending emails and getting no replies. I later found out that the emails were going to employees that were no longer there. The staff is friendly, and if you drop by the store, the owner will personally greet you and make sure you are happy.

I met Gilbert a day after contacting Rocha Construction. I went over my plans to have my two…read morebathrooms from the 1980's remodeled and some other repairs and changes I wanted. Within 48 hours Gilbert submitted a detailed, itemized proposal. This included his fees as well as what it would typically cost for things like cabinets, countertops, tiles, etc. He suggested places for me to get these items. Gilbert coordinated the work to run smoothly and was available every step of the way. Emerson made my tiled floors and walls look like art. Héctor is a gem. He is the project manager who stepped in for various tasks. Everything Héctor did was done with precision and care. He and Gilbert made sure each team of workers left the area clean and made sure I was happy with the work. I made payments as the job progressed and knew exactly what I was paying for. The job ended within the time frame Gilbert had estimated, even with the extra work I asked for. Gilbert Rocha is a man of his word. I love my bathrooms!

Our project was upgrading the cantilever balconies on 4 townhouses. We interviewed 4 different…read morecontractors and landed with Gilbert Rocha Construction. Let me add that we previously had the other 3 balconies done in 2022. These other 3 we took the lead on organizing the different contractors for the different work (i.e., demo, structure, electrical, plumbing, railings, flooring, stucco etc). The goal this time was not to be involved and have Rocha take point. Initially, it felt like we had made a good choice, but then we had a pause in having work done. Upon checking in we learned Gilbert was in the hospital. His wife Marie assisted with getting work moving forward. Gilbert was not seen for about 6 weeks. And during this time we had many days when no work was done. Once Gilbert was back he was not the same. We had to spend many hours tracking work and what needed to be done to keep the project moving, along with the bookkeeping, when he asked for a large amount over what was owed. The project took longer than initially projected, which we were ok with to get a good end product. Once the balconies were finished, final payment made, we asked for warranty information, Gilbert Rocha said he would forward. Warranty information was never received after multiple emails requesting. Not even 6 months later our railings are rusting at the welding joints. Gilbert Rocha's emails bounce back and the numbers are not in service. He may be out of business, but we still deserve to have a warranty to have the safety of railings corrected.
