Location: Kohls Date: August 10, 2025 Service: Pickup Order Last week went to Kohl's on Shaw Avenue to pick up an order for my mother. The only issue is that I meant to pick it up at the Kohl's location in River Park so meaning I had to drive all the way to Shaw Avenue to pick up an item which was out of the area for me, however, when I got there, I was pulling a parking and I was able to see what they had for fall which they had a lot of holiday pajamas and decor and other clothes and fully make up and shoes so there was a lot of wide selection they had at the store. The prices at Kohl's are reasonable, especially when they have sales always check for sales always is the best way because you don't wanna overpay for anything that you shouldn't so always check before hand like Labor Day is coming up so that's a good time to check back on the item that you like if it's still there. Check out the photos and definitely stop by Kohl's off of Shaw Avenue. They got some stuff checking out. read more

I purchased a watch online six months to a year ago online the battery's dead and as in the past when I've purchased a Watch from Kohls and the battery goes dead or I had issues, I was always able to go to the stores jewelry department purchase battery or whatever the case may be. However , now that the store been revamp a put in Sephora the jewelry department been eliminated. So what is the point in purchasing a watch from Kohls and you cannot go there you have any issues they don't cell watch batteries , yeah if you want to do a return I think you can but if you need to buy a battery and take off the back and do all of that stuff you can't just go anywhere to get it done because a lot of places will not touch the watch if you didn't purchase it from them . That's the problem I'm having now long story short kohls, is OK if you're going there to buy home goods or clothing or even shoes their inventory on those things is limited . Let's get into this. Kohl's on west Shaw has always done right by me. Whether it be the clothes (great brands & even greater prices) or The kitchen appliances (equally great brands & prices.) I personally love the Kohls cash program. The service has always been on point and the store is clean. Also Kohl's is a return hub for Amazon purchase returns. And the process is seamless. COVID-19 phase: The workers are masked and masks are required. I went in to see about Christmas shopping. The place is pretty organized and clean. There are sales EVERYWHERE!!! I made an online purchase and I always get kohls cash. However this time I didn't. I called Customer service on 06/23/23 spoke with Josue about this matter. And apparently the order was made was after 10pm. I never knew of the policy. I asked if it was possible to still get kohls cash or reimbursement, something. And he flat out said no. I would have to return everything and repurchase it. This is extremely frustrating and annoying to do. How inconvenient. I am a loyal kohls customer and they are making it this difficult over $30 kohls cash? I couldn't believe this to the point where I wouldn't shop at kohls anymore. Totally ridiculous! read more

I love shopping at Kohls with percent off coupons combined with sale items. Nice selection of ladies office wear. Cute home items from picture frames and candles to bed, bath and kitchen. Decent costume jewelry. A wide variety of lingerie, many brands to choose from. Nice purses and shoes, too. One thing about Kohl's, if they don't have what you want at the store you're at, there are two stores in Fresno and one in Clovis. They will even call another store for you before you drive there. read more

The layout of this store is a bit wonky. I can't find a damn thing here. From the sections to the sizes, its just a bit odd. Their toy section was TORE up, literally, open packages everywhere. Management has no customer service. Bought a pair of shoes that were incorrect in box. The person that checked them didn't notice and I didn't notice until we got home. Went back and management didn't make an attempt to help. Wouldn't even come in person to talk to us, they relayed a message through the clerk. You would think in this world of online purchasing a store would appreciate a live body to keep jobs going etc. Not at this Kohl's. I will never again shop here. read more

This store reminds me of our long-gone Gottschalks in the way it is set up, but the similarities only go so far. There is a good assortment of lingerie, socks, handbags and small leather goods. All items I found easily when shopping at this store. However, the shoes are another matter. It's a self-serve area and the boxes are scattered every which way, shoes the other way. Don't expect a clerk to come to your aid. Although I miss Gottschalks, the company is not returning, so the Kohls store will have to make do. read more

Khols is a quality company with a large selection of clothing and household items. The store was well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. Over the years the problem with khols has been that their prices have gone up and the stores have gone down with options. They have tried to add different items to their shelves and I think that has hurt them, because the best thing about khols is the clothing and they have been left behind in that aspect. read more

The lady at the jewelry watch center, I'm not sure what her name is but older Asian lady was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We were looking at watches for my dad and said excuse me can you help us and she was working on some stuff and watched as she rolled her eyes before turning completely to us. Now I understand if it's something important, which I doubted, but she turned to us and began to help us in a way that didn't feel like we were worth being helped. We wanted to look at more watches but my mom decided to just get the second one we saw and had her check us out. Still no attitude change and we left feeling very upset. I understand that customer service can be a pain but as someone who has worked in it for half my life you learn to fake helpfulness and enthusiasm. Don't take your frustrations out on people you've never met and ruin their day. read more

I love this store! I haven't been shopping there much since I'm trying to pay off all my credit cards. I know, it's sad, right? I used to shop here all the time. I went yesterday for the first time in awhile. I prefer this store over the River Park one because it's always neater. There aren't piles of clothes strewn everywhere, and the dressing rooms are usually neat. Like another reviewer said, never pay full price for anything here! I'm a card holder so I get discounts regularly, but usually they have really good sales. The cashier honored my 15% discount yesterday even though it didn't start 'til today, which I thought was really nice. read more

I shop at Kohl's quite often but today was a little off putting. While in the junior dept I asked a worker who was almost next to me about a particular type of jean but she ignored me and walked away. While paying she was also the cashier and when she asked me if I found everything ok I informed her she ignored me when I asked a question about the jeans. Her response was that she heard me but thought I was talking to my daughter and she was sorry. I thought about being sarcastic and saying why would I ask my daughter about a type of jean since she doesn't work there but then I reminded myself that I had a long day and didn't feel like going back and forth. I like kohls, they have decent brands for good prices. However the place could use a clean up once a week instead of once a year. Wallets, belts, shoeboxes, and socks seem to cover the floor. Surely picking these items up wouldn't hurt. I'd shop here again. read more

I came here on a Saturday morning and for how big the store was I swear they had only 5 people working. It was hard to find help, but once I did they were really knowledgeable about where to find specific items. I ordered for pickup. My pack was damaged. The girl in online pickup was like "yeah it came like that". They didn't offer me another. So I went to checkout with other items I had found in store and asked a woman up front if I could get another since the $300 item I had bought was damaged. She laughed to her other coworker and told me to get it and she'd help me with the switching transaction. I was mad. Wait, am I in Mervyn's? No, Kohl's is a pumped up version of them with merchandise at similar price points. Went in over the weekend to buy a couple of b-day gifts. Some warm and cozy robes caught my eye, clearly marked w/ a sign that said "$15.99, regular $45-47" . What a steal! So I take one to the register and it comes up "buy one, get one free" . That is more than $15.99. I tell the cashier about the sign . . . no "I'll have someone check" response. So I hightailed it to the display, grabbed the sign and handed it to him. After that he says "will you take the sign back?" Having worked retail in the past, I understood his request, since I knew exactly where I got the sign. To expedite the process, I asked my hubby to return it. He returned rather quickly . . . because he stuck it in the first sign holder he saw. He was outraged "what the heck, they can't price their merchandise in the computer, we have to pull the sale sign, then WE have to put the sign back . . . I don't work for Kohl's" he decried. WOAH, what happened here??!!! All we wanted to do was buy a shirt... not stand in line 30 minutes to check out. I am guessing they fired everyone after the holidays. At 5:00pm there was one cashier, and one associate standing there (I am guessing he was pretending to be security) but no one ever came to help this poor guy. Super messy department store and lame employees. They seem to not care about customer satisfaction or keeping their inventory nice. The lines never move because the workers go at a snails pace. Forget about going here during the holidays. It is impossible. The savings are pretty good and the prices are ok, but the selection is a little poor and the racks are always left in a big mess. read more

I don't shop here often. Maybe a handful of times a year and sadly my last experience reminded why. My sister gave me $20 in kohl's cash so I went to go find some shoes for my daughter. Their shoe dept. is a bit of a disaster. They had tons of shoes in the wrong boxes and it was like hunting for a needle in a haystack to find her size. While we were walking to the front I saw they had a display of rock & republic jeans which are my favorite. I again hunted through the madness to find my size and even took the time to try them on. They fit great so I decided to buy them. When we got to the check out there was one cashier and 4 people in line. It was late so I understand that staffing is usually lighter at those times. We finally got up to the cashier who was friendly and even informed me the jeans I picked out had a hole in them caused from the security tag. She noticed it when she took the security tag off the pant leg. She acted quickly and walkied another employee to look for my size. She even told the girl to come get the pants so she could see the style. So the sales floor girl came up and seemed bothered by the request which surprised me since the cashier mentioned she was new so it may take awhile. I politely waited and even stepped out of the way so she could continue to cash out the people behind me. I went back to the women's dept. to show the sales girl where I found the pants. She stated she already looked and there was none left in my size. She also through in a comment about my size and said they usually don't carry this brand in my size so I got "lucky" I even found this one pair of pants. I was shocked and just walked up back up front with my daughter. When I got up front there was no cashiers up front so I had to wait for someone to return. When someone finally did come it was a different girl. I told her my transaction had been suspended and that I was ready to pay. I told her the pants had a hole but I still wanted to purchase them since I could just sew them myself. She gave me 20% off the pants which was nice. If I hadn't had my daughter with me I would have gave the sales floor girl a piece of my mind. Lesson learned though...I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

This happened to me yesterday!!! 5/17/17 around 4:40pm. I have been shopping that certain Kohl's for over 10 yrs , me and my 2 yr old daughter were finally done shopping. We went to the checkout line ... this certain hat was marked down to 6.00$ . The clerk made me feel as though I put the markdown sticker on that hat he was not nice didn't greet us at all . the customer before us was treated great . He made me feel as though I was a street thug a thief ! It was very uncomfortable for me , so he calls his manager to confirm in the hat , she said no!! That clearance sticker didn't belong in the hat so she said I have to pay full price. I said no I found it on clearance. Also I said you both are making me feel as though I put that sticker on that hat , and A thief . I was Followed all over the store , by the manager ! I was so embarrassed especially in front of my 2 yr old . I walked out . Went home and bought my items on line . Fair warning if your a hard working mother that has no time to look your best . Kelly in customer service needs to learn the meaning of customer service, especially when a customer is VERY polite and has 2 questions, you can't be say rude and mean things about customers right in front of them, and after all you made mistakes and I still didn't say anything, being rude and lazy is not good customer service, you can't tell a customer you have other things to do when they come in to you for a return, you are the face of Kolhs, but thanks for your help in the long run read more

I spend $101 for my kid.....never receive any statement in email or mail..they told me that I signed up for electronic....but they are not supposed to send an email...I don't understand their system...how come u r not getting email if you signed up electronic....
