a couple of months ago i came in here in a hurry.... i had an important meeting and didnt have a tie to go with my shirt! I procrastinated and had nothing else that was clean... i figured it would be easier to just buy a tie instead of a shirt. I was freaking out because i could not find a tie to go with my shirt!!! luckily a rep there Caesar was walking by and asked if i needed help and i said "desperately"... he asked what i was looking for... i told him i was in a hurry... he quickly picked up 5 or six different ties and put them against my shirt and found one that was perfect... he was really nice about it and saved my life... i know places like this dont pay commission but this guy sure deserves something... hope his company gives him some kind of reward after i filled out thing on their website... this store is definitely a Go... really nice people... I don't shop here, but I LOVE how Kohl's and Amazon partnered up becuase it is so convenient to drop off returns at Kohl's. You don't need to print or even package your merchandise, they do it all for you :) all you need to show them is the QR scanning code. When they give you your receipt, they also give 25% off of one thing in the store. I never shop there so I always give my coupons to people that do shop there. I didnt give it 5 stars becuase theres usually only one person working in the back. He's great and extremely polite, but it would be nice so he doesn't have to do everything by himself. I only made a Yelp account to talk about what had happened like last week or the week before. Little sidetrack, I've been coming to this Kohl's for years and have noticed that the AM staff are friendlier and more helpful than the PM shift...I'm not sure why that is which is why I avoid coming here at night. The people at the returns area, shoutout! You guys are always so friendly and nice. Only real con about the AM shift is the Amazon returns. The staff get annoyed or have attitudes when people return things that aren't packaged or taped up when the site says you don't need to have it packaged when you bring it in. Now onto what had occurred. Sooo, I came here with my mom it was about 6 or 7pm as she had just gotten out of work. We were at checkout and get to our register. We're checking out, getting ready to pay when we all of a sudden heard (didn't catch their names it was a guy and a girl) 2 cashiers talking smack about one of the customers that came in. They spoke loud enough my mom and I could hear them. The guy said something about how he fucked up because a customer had a stuffy nose and was sneezing and referred to the customer as "that fool" and were just bashing the poor guy. We also heard that it was an older gentleman they were talking about. I used to work retail and know the shit talk but to do it where where customers can hear you and at the registers? So mad right now. Shop frequently at this kohl's and was stopped by loss prevention after I made my purchase and asked to come with him to his office. My daughter and I went with him then another illegal looking male started following too and we were like wth is going on? So they assure us a female is also coming which she does. They proceed to accuse us of stealing clothes. Said they had us on camera picking stuff out and going into fitting room them they found a handful of tags inside the jeans we tried on. He told us to come clean and he'd help us out. I dropped my bags told him to search us he refused said he couldn't and that we could leave. No apology nothing. I asked for the manager he comes back with a stupid grin says he can't talk to them In our presence so we needed to leave after about 10 mi the he comes out and offers no apology no explanation says they do t report to him. So that's it they march us through the damn store for absolutely no damn reason will not look in the bag that I bought and think that is ok! I have been a customer of this chain for YEARS! I am an avid shopper and have never had any problems. But today I went in for a return and was helped by an unwelcoming snotty 20 something yr old. She was very rude and condescending. To top it off one of their managers was just starring at us while the transaction was going on. What a joke! He was on his phone watching YouTube videos. I shop at Kohls all the time, I love Kohls but this particular store isn't as kept up quite as well as the others I shop at. It seems like specific departments don't get as much care as others. The purses, the picture frames, women's intimates and especially the clearance racks are usually quite messy. The employees are always friendly and customer service/returns & exchanges is awesome. Just wish the store was more tidy and sale items were restocked more often. read more

I've shopped online with Kohl's and always a good experience. Good prices and quick delivery. I'd never actually been inside a Kohl's store before and decided to make a visit to the nearest store to me. I was looking specifically for glass mixing bowls and a new baking sheet. The first thing I noticed was all the messy shelves and merchandise boxes stacked in all along the walkways. No one was restocking shelves or folding clothes scattered about. The homeware section was very disappointing. The only mixing bowls they had were plastic and came in a wrapped set of four. Everything was a "Bobby Flay" brand and a bit on the pricey side. $17 for a plastic spatula is ridiculous. Same issue with the baking sheets. You can't buy just one, you need to buy a set of four. I don't need four, I needed one. Good luck trying to ask an associate a question. There aren't any on the floor to help you. Only employees I saw were at the registers up front. I'll continue to buy from Kohl's online but I doubt I'll ever return to a store. I much prefer Target or Walmart for basic homeware needs. read more

It's Black Friday so you expect long lines and crowds, but you also expect Kohls to have all registers open - NOT! The line wrapped around the midpoint of the entire store. When I finally got to the front of the line there is problem with one of my discounts and the "supervisor" comes over and tells cashier not to honor it. I have never been very impressed with Kohl's (merchandise, layout of store, neatness of displays and employees), but today takes the cake. Bought 2 bras yesterday, got them home and hated them so I went back to exchange them for better fitting bras. I found two I really liked and went to make the exchange. So after waiting in a VERY long line, I was told I had to go back to customer service to do a return & then purchase the new ones because oopsie, my bad, one of the bras was $2 more than the original.(Stupid policy, don't you think?) When I arrive in Customer Service a young man was helping another customer and a woman was on the phone. Neither one acknowledged me (be with you in a moment? is that so hard to say?). When the woman got off the phone, she still said nothing and then made another phone call. As it turns out, they wanted to do a return on the original purchase, hand me my cash and then have me do a separate transaction for the new purchase. The original purchase had a $10 off coupon and they would not honor it for the new purchase. Their justification was that it was only good for one purchase and I had already used it. BTW, my original purchase was YESTERDAY so it's not like that coupon had expired. Both employees wanted to argue with me about why it could not be used again. When I asked to speak to a manager, the woman smirked at me and said she WAS the manager. (But of course.) I returned my items and DID NOT purchase the new items, so they have lost a sale. Plenty of other stores sell the same brands, so it's not like I can't buy them somewhere else. If this is the way Kohl's treats their customers (and the example that the management sets), I would venture to guess that they will end up out of business like the Mervyn's store they replaced. I am very disappointed with Kohl's and their false advertising. They claim to be "stocked with everything you need for yourself and your home". However, I visited the Fullerton store on 12/19/2017 for an Instant Pot 6 qt cooker on sale effective 12/17/2017. They had no stock on hand at all! I personally called the La Habra and Whittier stores myself since customer service could not check stock in those stores. They were also "out of stock". So, I went online to order and it was not even displayed online at all!!! Talk about false advertising! Kohl's spends a lot of money advertising their merchandise. However, they frequently are out of stock. It is discouraging to want a product and to be led to believe the product is available, only to find you can't purchase the product in store or even online! read more

I keep coming here because I have a kohls card and I can buy my son clothes here. They do have vans clothes and shoes. But the customer service is horrible. If you ever put anything on hold don't expect to get it back. You will end up waiting in line for a hour for them to look for another 30 min and they come out and tell you it's gone. Kohls always impresses me every time. Prices, quality, and customer service are always awesome. This Yelp I want to talk about the experience I just had. I bought a juicer about 6 months ago but wasn't able to use. I now am able to use it and decided to start juicing everyday for 15 days. I get all sucked into the juicing lifestyle: watching documentaries, pinning juice recipes on Pinterest like nobody's business and filled my fridge with fresh fruits and vegetables (sorry to my husband that there wasn't very much room for your food. Maybe next week). It was a glorious start and I was on a roll! I was living the juicing life! Until, 3 days into it, my juicer BROKE! The motor base unit popped up breaking the plastic and damaged the blade beyond use. I was devastated. I sat there and stared at my juicer for a few minutes wondering how it could betray me so. Then it hit me! Kohl's has an amazing return/exchange program! Even though I most definitely recycled my receipt when I got home because I'm a great Californian I knew it wasn't going to be an issue because they don't require receipts for exchanges. I carefully put everything back in the box, came back to Kohl's and Briana helped me. She was super helpful and chipper. Maybe she juices, too? Anywho, now as I write this review, I have a brand new juicer that hopefully will not break. Thursday before Christmas at 3pm, I understand there's a big line but there are two lines marked on the ground for online pick up or customer service. I go to stand in the online pick up order as it is marked on the floor. This is so it's more convenient for online order pick ups since I'll I'm doing is picking up an order nothing else. The person behind the counter proceeds to yell SIR! We are only doing one line because there's only two of us working. And this is my fault because? Then remove the sign. Then tell me when I first got in line for pick up only. Then get someone else out here, you have a ton of associates working. So now I have to get in line for people doing returns and completing?! Seven people in line for that and I have to get in line behind all of that just to literally have someone pass me a bag from behind the counter? Come on Kohl's Fullerton, get it together. This is a great location and it's very clean and usually I have a great experience here, but let me down this time. read more

I waited over 15 minutes if not 20 minutes for my curbside order and figured enough was enough and had to go inside. This is in no way a reflection of all the employees of the store because when I went to the customer service area there was only one gentleman working the area. Why would kohl's offer this service if they're not going to have enough people at the area to manage the amount of returns and pick ups? He obviously cannot leave his spot at the pick up area and go out to the car if it's just him working the area. I do not know how the store is managed but it's disappointing to expect a service and have to wait that long for it especially when the service is supposed to be convenient. I am thankfully able to go inside myself, but is a person who is at risk expected to wait 20 minutes for their items in their car? The lines at the customer service area are always so long but I usually don't mind because I have the time to wait. Please manage this store better. Please have more people at the customer service desk if they're busy. Please relieve some of the stress those employees must feel every day having to deal with large amounts of people and being the only one at the desk! read more

I went to Kohls Fullerton first, and then spent 30 minutes in a chat conversation with Kohls customer service online. Everyone should be aware that kohl's will not refund the unused gift cards, even if they've been purchased the day before. I have no intention on shopping at Kohl's anymore unless it is a last resort! I asked the customer service if they were willing to lose a long time customer over this policy, to which I was told they had no authority to do anything different. read more

Kohl's is a decent department store that sells a variety of things from home goods, shoes, jewelry, toys, etc. They occasionally send good coupons that don't have ridiculous restrictions like some other department stores at the mall. read more

I don't really expect much when I go to a department store. I want the sales people to leave me alone while I am shopping, and be available when I have questions. Either at Macy's, Nordstrom, Sears, or at Kohls, I don't want to be bothered when I'm shopping. I usually have a pretty good idea of what I want when I go, so I'm dialed in and buy what I want and leave. Kohls usually have racks of clearance items, and are usually are discounted at least 60% from their regular retail price. Once in a while I get a coupon for 20 or 30 percent discount, so every time I buy a clearance item with the additional discount, I come out like I've really saved a lot. read more

Worst customer service ever! Tried to return a pair of shoes that lasted 6 months before entire sole came apart and were unusable. The answer that I got was that this was normal wear!! Normally I like Kohl's selection, particularly their women's clothing, but I'm irritated after today's visit. We are in So Cal in pool/ beach country at the onset of summer , and they don't carry swimwear for women. Men, yes. What!? Disappointed. I would've appreciated even ugly ones. Now I have to remember to call ahead to confirm whether or not they carry what I consider the basics. read more

I enjoy shopping at Kohl's. Some of their merchandise can be expensive, but the Juniors section is usually a good deal, and carries a surprisingly large size range. This Kohl's has a nice clearance jewelry/accessories section, and some very good sales on sterling silver jewelry. I really like all the different styles and brands one can find here, including the Kohl's brand "So", which is actually very good quality and makes both casual and nicer clothing. This is a good place to come for clothing staples and the occasional dressy piece. read more
