I haven't been to this location before but I stopped by when I was in the area. I needed to use my Kohl's cash by tomorrow too. The store is spacious and is pretty much laid out like the other ones in the area. I like that the layouts are the same since it makes navigating different locations that much easier. I tried to find some items for myself but came up empty handed. I ended up getting my boyfriend a shirt and we got some Pink Stuff paste to use the most of the cash only to find it wasn't eligible for coupons so we basically paid for that in full (bummer). That's the one downfall of Kohl's is not really having an easy way to know what counts and what's going to come up as excluded since things aren't all easily marked. The last item I always notice is the low stock or no stock of certain sizes or how quickly the seasons change in certain areas. For example I wanted sleeveless work shirts and couldn't find any 9 west or Vera options. I'm glad I came here to see what they had today. read more

The weather has finally caught up with us and we are now in chilly nights and brisk mornings! My little one is fully stocked on shorts and tees, but it's now time to freshen up for warmer clothing. This location seems to be much bigger than the one closer to us and had more organization. Upon entering, we were met with all the holiday decor. My little one loved walking around the clothes and exploring. The kid section was lacking in the boys, but we found the basics we were looking for anyway. They have some nice clothes here, and the prices aren't too bad. Unfortunately they don't do Kohl's cash anymore, and now they have self checkout islands much like Walmart. Things have certainly changed for sure. They are doing a better job here keeping things organized and the aisles less cluttered than some of the other store I've been to. Unfortunately they seemed really limited on the sizes of the shirts they offered. Plenty of mediums, and xxl's but hardly any regular Large sizes for shirts, and believe me, I looked. read more

SHOUT OUT to "LINDA" who was my Angel in Customer Service today! I am a loyal Kohls junkie but always order online delivery due to difficult walking. Today I had 4 Amazon returns, 4 Kohls returns/exchanges and 2 online ordered pickups at Kohls WilliamsField Gilbert. Two of the items to return were larger so I used my trusty little foldable wagon to carry in my items due to the carts were too small. To make matters more difficult, I had a heat stroke a couple weeks ago while moving in 114 degrees (*pause while you say DUH!) so my right side isn't what it use to be! :( Don't worry about me yelpers tho....coz I have already gotten most of my mobility back but I do still look a bit like Quasimodo with a droopy right eye :) OF COURSE I am a mess trying to find my receipts to return and trying to remember what was amazon and what was Kohls! Enter sweet LINDA to the rescue! She asked me if the items were on my Kohls charge...which all of them were...and told me to just slide my card! Whew! First item she scanned...OOPS! red rug from Amazon not Kohls! Linda made me feel less embarrassed by her kindness and we chatted a bit while she figured out the rest of my mess for me. ONE DOWN! Next, I need to pick up a couple items. OF COURSE once again I am squinting with my one good left eye, trying to figure out what items they were and the codes needed to pick them up. STEP BACK IN amazing LINDA! She looked in my account, found the 3 items and even gave me the BIN NUMBERS since I was struggling! TWO DOWN! Standing by the bins, straining to read the little numbers to find the ones she wrote down for me I looked pathetic I am sure! As I sighed LOUDLY blowing a raspberry the calvary of LINDA comes over and helps me find the bins! I felt like I was the only person in the store getting such attention but honestly I was really struggling trying to read with one eye, pull my little wagon and limping a bit due to the heat stroke. As she put my items into my wagon and pointed me towards Amazon returns it almost made me cry while thanking her for her Above and Beyond help! THREE DOWN! Linda could have easily stayed behind her desk, feeling she had given me the information I needed to find the items myself but she did not. She realized that I really needed some extra assistance today and was kind enough to provide it. I wanted to give 4 stars for Kohls because their Jockey Undies are over priced but after the way Linda stood out today I had to give them 5!! I used to shop there fairly often. Now the prices are way too high and the sales are not nearly as good as they used to be. Their prices compare to Macy's and Dillard's. I also don't like having Sephora in the middle of the store. Now they have taken the space where the jewelry and purses used to be. Well, I'd had a previous creepy experience coming here at night and opted to come here earlier in the day for an amazon return, only to walk all the way to the corner of the store and see a sign saying "go to Customer Service," so now EVERYTHING happens at the front of the store...or it's supposed to. There were about eight of us standing in line just for amazon returns, with a line forming behind me (everyone else clearly having gone to the back of the store just like me), one cashier trying to do everything, and other employees hovering around not offering to help; the only thing they did ask is "does anyone not have an amazon return?" Part of this explains Kohl's decline - it seems most people just use them for amazon returns, so all the self-checkouts sat unused. Of course I couldn't do my return because the line wasn't moving quickly at all - I'm used to the whole process of arriving at the store, doing the return and leaving taking three minutes, but of course that was at a different Kohl's. Definitely done with this location for good, and will anticipate all the justifiably forthcoming store closures we've been hearing about for some time. I have been here a few times for the famous Amazon return counter: how convenient to have a place that will accept your returns without the hassle of figuring out how to mail it and stand in line at a shipping store: all you do is generate the code online (can print too but not necessary) and they scan it quickly and take it back for credit. The line looked long but it went fast as the process is very easy. The workers are friendly. Looking around the store for a minute they have a nice selection and good vibe, it would be a great place to shop for clothes too read more

I purchased a brown leather purse for my mom last year for mother's day from Kohl's and she loved it so much she bought one for both of my sister's. Since m-day's gift was so well received, it was only logical that I go back to Kohl's for a birthday gift. I purchased a black leather purse for mom for her birthday and a gift card. I got the purse at half off the original price, I love sales and Kohl's has plenty. I do wonder are the prices really sales? are the items marked up and then down to create a "fake sale"? Still giving them 4 stars because of selection and the store is clean and inviting, mini carts are so easy to maneuver through the displays. Stopped in Friday late afternoon. Had a gift card I wanted to use. Through the departments you'll see employees breeze by with a sense of being "watched" but not ever asked if you need assistance?! When you need assistance or have a question: no sales associate to be found?! As my daughter and I made our way to cosmetics we were briefly asked if we were "ok"?! We had been in the store awhile before ever being acknowledged! We were ok, thanks for asking! I discovered sleepwear by Apt #9 on sale for a great price in the clearance section. Found a tank top on sale however, still pricey as it was a reversible style in the Lingerie Dept. Picked up a really nice Matte lipgloss by a brand called -The Balm. Seems they have some fun makeup & colors! With that said, Kohl's relates to Ross in similar ways. Security high, sales low. It may just be me- but again a feel of uncomfortable! Unfortunately, very unkempt departments, lazy workers ( by the looks of the stores environment) & it's lost its customer appeal. HORRIBLE customer service!! They asked anyone paying with card to use a specific line, I did and I havnt been in over a year. I asked if I can check if my Kohl's card works, it does! Great! I start scanning and I was $29 over my Kohl's card limit ... no biggie I have my debit card I can swipe for the remaining balance. They said NO we cannot accommodate that. Machines won't let us and it already charged your kohls card and can't redo it. I was puzzled?!? What?! Can I take something off or redo it? No ... firm no. No solutions besides voiding and redoing it all on my debit card ONLY. Can't use my kohls card and now I have to wait 2 business days for it to fully void?! What ?! Also they refused to show me proof of voided. No other solutions.... I gave up and walked out. I couldn't believe their systems in 2023 could not do a split payment or even let me remove an item?! I went into the store for amazon returns and to purchase a carpet cleaner. Things went so smoothly at the amazon returns desk! Super fast and I had a ton of them from Xmas. As far as the carpet cleaner, Lisa and Kimberly are awesome. They helped me through a pricing problem that occurred when the pricing on the machine and the pricing at checkout didn't match. They totally took care of the situation, having ownership through the whole process. All to say, I am grateful for how easy that was! Keep it up! read more

I have visited this store a dozen times and it is if it remains in the same poor condition. I noticed the same feedback on here and it is apparent management has done nothing to fix the situation throughout the last couple of years. This place is right next to my gym and so I'll stop by and check it out. I've asked myself why I keep coming back and the only conclusion I can come up with is that I'm a woman and I can shop the hell out of any place. I'm going to start with the parking lot. There's like 3 rows of handicapped parking spots and each row has at least 5 designated handicapped spaces. So we're talking 15 parking spaces dedicated to handicapped parking. THEN they have an additional 4 spots reserved for associates. I do not understand the logic behind giving employees the choice spots. They are going to be there for 8 hours, I'm going to be there for 15 minutes... well 30 once you take into account all the walking I have to do in the parking lot. Once I'm finally in I head straight for the shoes. The shoe department is hit or miss. After shoes I round the corner to housewares and browse through the sale items and the I finish in the unmentionables department which is ALWAYS way over priced. If I do buy anything, guaranteed the line will be long and there will be a lot of eye rolling going on. The staff is meh. The store could benefit from being more organized. read more

Honestly this place is always in shambles. Good luck finding anything. The staff apparently won't sort or fold anything once it's on the floor. The shoe section literally looked like a tornado went through it. Empty boxes, single show boxes without one on display, I saw garbage on the shelves, a wall socket cover on top of the display, and girls shoes on the boys section. I told the lady up front and she said well it wasn't that bad cause you found something to buy. I told her we came for a quick pair of shoes and it took 45 minutes to sort through the mess. She said oh well you found them anyway. Great service. If you are the manager and you are reading this. Seriously get your people in line cause you are giving Kohl's a bad name. I don't want to come back again to this store. This was my third visit over time and it's always the same outcome. Is it so hard to make your store presentable? The Kohls on Williams Field Road in Gilbert has slowly become the cesspool of Department stores. This store is almost always in disarray, it is very hard to find somebody to help you, and the management team has no idea what excellent customer service is about. Usually my wife is on top of the expiration dates and spends Khol's cash we have earned prior to its expiration. This time however she missed the date, having to care for one of our four medically complex foster children who has been in and out of the hospital over the past few weeks battling a rare lung disease. On 4/13/2018 the male manager, (you know who you are), refused to honor the expired $20.00 Khol's cash. My wife was in tears trying to get the manager to honor the Khol's cash so she could buy pair of shoes to compliment the dress our four year old will soon be buried in.The manager simply refused. Although I will not mention you by name in a public forum, I will make sure your boss, your bosses boss and Khol's corporate executives, know exactly who you are. I will also make sure that they also have a clear understanding of your piss poor management abilities and of the example that you set for others who work for you. It was horribly hot in the store, I was sweating the whole time. When I went to checkout I told the cashier I have a $10 off $25 or more instore coupon. She tried to scan it but said the computer wouldn't take it and just tried to move on without even trying to fix it, figure out why or care at all! I clicked on it and read the t&c and didn't see any reason why I couldn't use it and she just kept arguing. I was so irritated I forgot I also had a 30% off I didint get to use! She then I applied my kohl's cash. I called and the lady explained the reason in 2 seconds! The coupon only applied to after the Kohl's cash so I had $20 left and needed $25 for the coupon. So if I would have spent $5 more I could have gotten $10 off plus 30%! I wanted to go back in but the registries and customer service line were crazy long! The thing about Kohl's is that you HAVE to shop the sales and use coupons. If you don't, you're not going to get a good price. That being said, I always take advantage of these things and end up getting toys, books, and decor for very reasonable prices. The selection of toys seems to change pretty regularly which leads me to believe that they turn their inventory quickly and that you're always getting the latest and greatest. Great selection of kitchen tools, bathroom decor, and frames, but again, shop the sales on these items! I haven't shopped for adult clothing in a while, so I can't comment on that, but I've noticed that the children's clothing - even on sale - is a bit more expensive than what you can get it for elsewhere. You've gotta wait until it goes on clearance or use a coupon that you can stack on top of the sales prices to get a deal. read more

I don't shop at Kohl's too often and I don't know why. I do not have a Kohl's credit card, but I know if I did, it would save me even more money. However, I have signed up for their rewards club. I went a few days before Mother's Day to this store specifically as I was in the area and the store was somewhat in disarray, a mess. I guess they were clearing out old stuff and making way for new stuff, but since I'm not a regular customer, I was a bit overwhelmed by stuff everywhere. And I'm gathering that customers can also pick through things and be real inconsiderate and messy. I was looking for clothes for my son's graduation, for him, so I was making a guess at his size. A couple other young male customers helped me pick out some clothes for my 13-yr old son graduating the 8th grade. They showed me what was "in" for that age group as they are only a few years older than him. That was so kind of them. I couldn't find a salesperson to help me, which was why these young men helped me. There were sales throughout the store and I was overwhelmed. Once I found or got all the things I thought my son would need, I headed to Customer Service to put things on hold for the next day when I would come with my son to see if that's what he wanted. They were nice and efficient. No issues here. When I went back the next day to pick up all my items, it went flawlessly. No issues again. Next day I came back with my son and I think it was either a Wednesday or Thursday. Can't remember. The prices had changed on what I got. The pants were normally $55 were $35 on the day I got them. The next day they were back to $55. The shirts I got were buy one get one 1/2 off the day before. The next day when I was with my son, they were $45 and the 2nd shirt was $1. My son didn't like the tie I got for him and chose a different belt. From the app, if you spend over $100, you get 20% off. And for every $50 you get spend, you get $10 back in Kohl's cash. That is cool. I can't remember if I earned $20 or $30 in Kohl's cash that time. The person at the register helped me get everything set up to where I could get the most for my money. So kind of her. Now the next day after that, we came back so my daughter and I could get some dresses for my son's graduation and then some. I don't know how many dresses we got, but everything was on sale or clearance, and when all was said and done, we had spent over $100 even after the 20% discount was applied. This gave us another $20-30 in Kohl's cash. Cool. Now we have somewhere in the $40+ in Kohl's cash. My only complaints with this store are: 1. Need more associates on the floor to help people. 2. Need more checkout registers opened. Each time I came, one area had LONG lines and the other area in a different part of the store didn't have anyone. If one area is congested, they should tell that congested area to send people to their area so people aren't waiting a long time. With the stuff in disarray, guess it was just for that day because the next day, everything was back to being organized. All in all, customer service was very professional, friendly, and good. The 2 complaints I have dropped the 5 star down to a 4 star. And those were things I experienced all 3 days we went to Kohl's. I will be going there again today to find something to buy to use my Kohl's cash. read more

Here's my gripe... they send you all these coupons for drastic savings and make you think you are really getting a good deal. That's their business strategy. OK, lets talk men's briefs. I received a 30% off mailer that I planned to buy a four pack of men's briefs with till I saw the regular price marked at $34. That's $23.80... still more than I thought four men's briefs were worth. I then went to Walmart, got the same brand in a five pack for $13.50. I'm not saying there are not some good deals at Kohls but be careful. Spoke to a woman in customer service at this location today that clearly hated her job. I had a ship to store item that arrived on the 24th and was informed by kohl's corporate customer service that I had 14 days from the day it arrived at the store to pick it up. But I received an email from kohl's saying today (the 30th) was the last day to pick it up but to call the store directly to extend that date. I called and asked for an extension and was told I can extend 2 days and that is it. I let her know I was out of town and spoke to customer service who told me I had 14 days. She said she has no idea who I talked to and that is not accurate. I told her I have a copy of the conversation with customer service saying I have 14 days and can she please extend pick up till aug 3rd when I am back in town. She laughed and said she will not budge and that is the policy she will not extend. I asked her if I will receive a survey based on this conversation and she was furious and said yes. No survey received so I thought I should write this review. So my order will get cancelled and refunded and I will have to reorder and talk to corporate with the conversation showing I had 14 days. I would refrain your "customer service" staff. Couldn't believe how miserable this woman was. read more

People at registers and on the floor are very unfriendly. School close shopping in August was worse than shopping at Christmas time. We both found what we liked at payout Scott informed us about the Kohls card, after a while we decided to try apply for the card due to much of the benefits Scott informed us. We got approved and saved 165.00 only paid 100, was just blown away the time Scott took to help me get my card setup my phone with the app load my cad and kohls cash even tho it was past 11pm close time. Made me into a very well informed customer and loyal client to kohls. Thank you for having great employees that truly care about giving outstanding customer service. read more

I ordered through the Kohl's website and my order was supposed to be shipped. It was shipped to the wrong address and I never received my order. Kohl's refused to refund my order and wouldn't ship a new order. I guess I spent $143 so a stranger could have my clothes. I will never shop at Kohl's again because they don't work with people who have been their customers for many years. No wonder they're having financial problems!
