I hobbled into this Kohl's at the end of a particularly long day at work. My high heels which had looked so adorable when I put them on in the morning had been abusing my feet for the better part of ten hours. Abuse? Yes abuse and not a little "hmmm the toes are kind of pinching" sensation, it was more like an Ike Turner beat down that had my feet whimpering and begging for mercy. I was having dinner with friends at Outback and then we were going to do a little shopping in the mall, but I knew that I would never make it in my heels. Off to Kohl's I went in search of a nice pair of flip flops. I found a pair that was nothing special, but they were comfortable and that was the only thing that mattered to me at that point. While I was standing in line I was having an internal debate over whether I should just put the flip flops on right there at the register or wait until I was outside the store. Ironically enough the girl in front of me in line took the decision out of my hands since the moment she finished paying for her snazzy little pair of flip flops she whipped her own heels off and proceeded to change into the newly acquired flip flops. Aha! I see I am not the only one to fall victim to a cute pair of shoes only to have to trade them in for a much more sensible pair a few hours later. Decision made I smiled at the cashier and told her "monkey see, monkey do", the cashier graciously cut the tags off my flip flops and gave me a bag for those wretched heels. Customer service needs to be better. Associates need to be aware of sale prices. There was a shirt that was on sale that I bought, but it did not ring up the sale price. So the girl that was helping me who worked at the jewelry counter walked over to the table where i got the shirt and said the sale price was for the pants only. I thought that was weird. So the next day I go online and they did show up as 50% off. I hate going back to the store to return and exchange stuff. But the 50% off was worth going back. Rachel (i think thats her name) in the exhchanges/returns dept. needs a better attitude/customer service. She doesnt seem happy to be working there. Smiles are free so put one on! read more

Kohls has great deals so often it's hard to not stop by when I'm in need of some new clothes. Everything is usually easy to find but if you stop by on a weekend that has 30% coupons available to the public it can be really crowded and messy. I can't blame them for that though -- their sales are quite good. I've only bought clothes from them so far but I'm sure everything else they have are great deals as well. read more

Had to buy some attire for a recent wedding so wife took me to this Kohl's in Great Mall. Usually, I go here to use their bathrooms since they're the cleanest in the mall , but this time i actually came in to do some shopping and was pretty impressed at their prices and variety they offer. Also, the store is clean and bright which I guess is a good thing for someone who doesn't shop much. And again, love those clean bathrooms, especially when the kiddies got to do their thing. read more

This is not a bad review for Milpitas store....I have alway's had good luck and good service here. It is however a bad review for Kohl's customer service computer capabilities. I online ordered some product to be picked up at the store. The only options I saw were to check a box that said pick up at store or ship to me. I checked pick up at store. Mind you, I live ACROSS THE STREET from Kohl's Milpitas. My computer told me that my order was IN PROCESSING and I can pick it up at the Arden Way store in SACRAMENTO. Why on earth would I want to drive 2 hours to Sacramento Kohl's???? I called customer service iand was told they do not know why nor can they change my pick up to the Milpitas store. They told me my only options were to call the Sacramento store and cancel my order (she can't cancel it) or don't pick it up and after seven days the order will cancel for non-pick-up. Then call customer service again and explain again so I don't lose the $10.00 Kohl's cash I used on the order. Then I can order the product again. Problem with that is, my items may not still be on sale at buy one get one 50% off. Long story short, why can't Kohl's customer service or better still the customer change the pick up location???? and more importantly WHY would the system choose a pick up in Sacramento when I live in Milpitas? The customer rep (Jessica) was not helpful. She was very understanding of my agitation and empathetic of the situation but could not help. No pick up/No order just angry! read more

I have been going to this Kohl's for years and most of the time it's a good experience. I normally get a $10 off or 20% off coupon and buy something from the clearance section. Pros: Good deals Nice quality clothes Nice customer service from the associates. Cons: Messy dressing rooms Rude customer service from manager(?). I went to buy a belt one time and after I paid at the register, I realized that the belt wasn't marked down as advertised on the sign. I went back to the register and told her that the belt should have been marked down, and she didn't believe me. She gave me some attitude and was about to send me away. Luckily my boyfriend was with me and he refused to leave until the manager gave me the price adjustment. Overall, I will still go to this Kohls since it's near my house and I usually find something nice there. read more

I think the employees here are OK. The main problem i have is how there is always stuff on the floor. The dressing rooms are very messy. I was taking my niece to the toy department and we couldn't even walk. I even saw one employee just standing around doing absolutely nothing. I still shop here but i am disappointed. read more

I come to shop at Kohl's sometimes. However, this store has a horrible customer service. There was a mess everywhere entire the store. I waited in line to check out last night. There were 2 cashiers with a long line. The cashier who served me obviously hates her job. She didn't even say the basic words such as "Hi!" and "Thank you!" to the customer. I noticed that most of the cashiers just give customers only the receipt and they intend to throw away the survey part (survey small paper) in the trash can because they don't want to receive bad reviews for their terrible customer service in reality. Returns are a nightmare. The girl with brown curly long hair in the Customer Service returns area was very rude. She threw receipts back to me when I returned some clothes that did not fit on my kids. I did talk about this issue to the manager but it doesn't seem to be worked out because their entire system and policies are customer unfriendly and unprofessionally. The staff in this store definitely needs retraining on customer service. I will not shop at Kohl's anymore and I would not recommend Kohl's store to anyone. read more

I purchased two shirts from Kohl's for Father's Day and had to take one back for a bigger size but they didn't have the size I needed in the store, so I go to the customer service counter and asked if I can have one shipped to my house at no charge. The gal says yes, you can order over the phone or at the kiosk. So as she starts doing the return I ask if I will also be getting the same price, the gal says let me check. Ok, you paid $21.00 and now it's going for $24.99. I said ok so I will order a bigger size at the $21.00, the gal say's sorry there is no way we can do that (which is not true because it's been done for me before) you would have to repurchase at the $24.99. So I said just return it and I will not purchase another one! Makes no since to me how you would rather lose a purchase all together over $3.99! read more

If I could give a negative Stars I would. I went to khols today to buy a few items for myself and my children I came across in the women's Department of Lauren Conrad shirt that I absolutely loved. I asked the nearest Associates if she could find it the shirt and a 2XL in the back possibly she said "they don't make that in your size." I was taken back by the comment she made and ask her again to double-check she then went up to her manager and came back and stated that the manager said they do not make 2XL close in that brand. After hurt and feeling humiliated I walked to the customer service counter and ask to speak with the manager. I told the manager with it happen and all she said was I apologize. I know that this particular brand makes 2XL clothes. This young lady needs to know not to discriminate against people on the way they look on the outside whether I was thin,big, black, green or yellow she needs to show me the same respect as any other customer and that store. The words out of her mouth were they dont make that in your size. Their Associates should learn to listen to what a customer is asking for and not discriminate. read more

We love kohls. but not this store. today we use $5 coupon & store credit to buy stuff. one of the register don't know how to process it. when we told her we've done it before in other store, her response was" you don't understand that because you don't know it " and later on some sort of supervisor came by and told us can't use them both at same time. come on , store credit is not a coupon, how come can't be used with coupon? I said "you don't know how to do your work..."and she got mad and stop selling those items to us. what's kind of manager is that? if register machine don't know how to process the request, can you do it manually? I've been a fan of Kohl's and their coupons for some time. However, this particular store is the pits. Can't find merchandise because it is strewn all over the store. The racks are way too full, the aisles are crowded with merchandise. In fact, they have too much merchandise. The shopping experience is frustrating at best. They can do a far better job of keep their racks straightened out. There are never enough clerks when there is a line. Obviously poorly managed store. Other stores are much better. read more

Not happy about my experience at Kohl's. Went in for a Keurig, saw that a keurig was priced at $39.99 from $200.. (note: the digital sales tag was connected to the display item.). I am obviously not an idiot, but I brought the item up to the cashier to ask why it was on sale for so cheap. She looks at me like I was lying and says "obviously you read it wrong or it's on the wrong item, NO keurig is ever $39.99!" . So I asked her if she could go with me to look at the display, instead, she sends someone else with me. He was really nice, but also tried to tell me that I read it wrong. When we got to the actual display item; he looks at it and tells me that the person that tagged it must have tagged it wrong....Uhhhh, okay! Not only did "this person" tag that keurig wrong, he tagged a bunch of them wrong. I wasn't asking for the Keurig at that price! I was very polite about the whole situation but I did not like the way I was treated. I should have been a bitch and told them that they should have sold it to me at that price. It was THEIR mistake not mine. They didn't have to treat me like that. They are lucky that it was me and not someone else. I am much happier that I bought my keurig at Target, better service, and the kids that work their have more respect than the ADULT woman I encountered at Kohl's! read more
