I stopped by this Kohl's location today in the morning when I was waiting for the T-Mobile store and In N Out to open in the same plaza. I took the time to look at some clothing. I came in the morning so they weren't a lot of people and tons of parking. This store is very spacious inside, it's one floor and has a Sephora right when you enter. The Amazon return, guest services are on the right side of the store in the middle and it's also where the restroom is as well. The staff are very nice and throughout the store. read more

Though I haven't posted a review for this Kohl's location for a long while, I have continued to shop at this store. We were in Moorpark last Friday evening, running errands, and having dinner. After the meal, I told Dear Hubby I needed to go to Kohl's to return several items to Amazon. It's very convenient to have Kohl's accept/handle returns for Amazon. Since I'd not been in this particular Kohl's for a while, I wasn't familiar with some of the changes. There isn't a separate area for Amazon; they accept the returns in the same office as any Kohl's customer service needs. Was able to take care of that business in a quick and easy way. Thereafter, I went to walk the merchandise floor and see what might be available for last minute holiday clothing or décor. Hmm. Might be the first time that I walked out without buying anything at all. The way the store is not laid out was confusing and not inspiring. Many departments were devoid of "merch", with multiple empty shelves and displays. It was like when the COVID pandemic led to supply-chain shortages. They had lots of small appliances bulked out, but try to find cute kitchen accessories. Nope. They'd moved all the Christmas items to one section in the very front of the store. I didn't have a problem with that idea, but as I'd entered through the north door, I didn't know this was the case, as everything was bulked out by the south door. They also have closed all the registers at the northwest side of the store. Everything is now relocated to the southwest side. The jewelry counters were mostly empty. What? The whole effect was confusing and off-putting. I'm actually looking for some gold hoop earrings to replace a pair, but that wasn't happening. I truly hate to leave negative reviews of businesses where I've shopped or dined successfully in the past, because I'd like them to stay around! Wish I knew what was going on with this Kohl's store. As I didn't find anything to buy this time, I didn't have an interaction with a cashier or a manager to find out. Hope things change for the better soon! read more

Kohls in Moorpark is clean and relatively organized. Clerks are helpful and patient. I found plenty of choices in the blouse section that I was looking for. It seems as they always have a Sale and I took advantage of. Not so much in the shoe section this time. Couldn't find multiple sizes in any shoe I found and had to walk out without a pair. read more

Normally I go into the store all the time and I spend a lot of money I placed an order online they charged my card and then five minutes later they canceled my order . And it was over a $300 order now I have to wait seven days for them to credit my card back so I can go out and buy the item I need to buy If they're the ones that canceled my order, it's their fault whatever happened on their end they should automatically give that money back on your card immediately that's why I only gave them two stars I'll probably pay off the Kohl's card and cancel it read more

I have liked Kohls in the past because it was conveniently located near me, had some good coupons and a descent selection of clothes. The last 3 times I have visited, the cashiers have asked me about opening a credit card. When I decline they keep pushing and pushing. They then say you can save this amount (whatever it may be) then tell you that you can open one and close it the same day etc. I keep saying no, I don't use credit cards. It has seriously ruined my shopping experience. I end up leaving so bothered and one time I was really upset because the cashier was so inappropriate and rude. After these experiences I have chose to not return. I have talked with friends of mine who have had the same experience and will not be returning as well. Shopping should be an enjoyable experience. It's ridiculous that the cashiers have taken that away by being so pushy. read more

This Kohl's store is the most mismanaged retail outlet I have ever been to. I was trying to return a shirt that I'd bought 2 days earlier, I walked in, there were 3 cashiers standing around chatting and apearantly having a good time. I asked them if they would take my return. One of those ignorant impolite youngsters told me to walk all the way down and turn left, a long walk for an old and permanently disabled person that I am. I believe she was upset I interrupted their fun time. I walked the long way with my broken back to the returns which was clearly pointing to a lady who was busy helping people. After standing and waiting my turn, she said that I'm in the wrong area, this stand is only for Amazon returns, and sent me to another place for returns. That's the true definition of MISMANAGEMENT. They make sure you walk the entire store before you can return anything. It seems to me there are more employees standing idle than customers. Sometimes you could have the entire store to yourself. Also, prices are unreasonably and outrageously high, I visit this store only for their clearance sales deals. Their poor service makes me think twice before I spend another penny at Kohl's. read more

She makes unprofessional comments about people returning Amazon on how they need to be charged and appears very unhappy in her job. Management is awful. There is two women or three wow these females are something else. Let's go and see what the cons are. Bad customer service, as soon as you step in the door you feel the culture of the staff. It's harsh and it is micromanage. Waiting in line is a hassle because of how the staff are. So careless so not customer service oriented. I rather not go and see these faces that spoil your shopping experience. This is beyond my understanding of why female staff manager or assistants act the way they do. Bitcoin is here and crypto. Horrible customer service! I came in the store with a 2 year old and an 11 month old. The store is empty at 1pm so the associates are not that busy. My baby was getting fussy and wanted to eat. I asked the associate if I could use the dressing room to feed my baby. She said no, but I could use the bathroom. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is how KHOLS treats people? Sure let me just sit on the dirty toilet and give my baby a meal there. I told her no thanks and I'll walk to my car and do it there. The Lauren Conrad collection here is really the only reason I shop at Kohl's not everything she does is a Gem, but when she pairs up with Disney: results are stunning Jenner Lopez also has a collection (also another fave) it's dressy, but casual enough to wear anywhere. Moved to this area not long ago, and my first visit yesterday, 01/29/21, was very impressive: though there're only several customers due to Covid 19, Cindy welcomed me with a genuine smiling face and warm words, which is very touching, a fresh contrast to the virus-blowed biz depression! Reanna and Randy helped me with Amazon return friendly, Niala and David presented the same kind of smiles and good service... I couldn't help feeling thankful, and went to share with the manager, and her sincere attitude and nice words made me feel it's a perfect shopping... Miss leading signs and horrible costumer service we bought a Shirt that was on sale for 24 dollars and the lady at costumer service gave a rude tone and audited tellingly that we were wrong and sign did not say that so we showed her the picture we took of the sign and she said that is not the real price so finally after fighting about the real price for another 30 minutes!!!!! Sorry the address is wrong, i do nlt know how to change it? It is the Kohls in Simi Valley on Tapo Canyon that did this to me! I innocently went to Kohls, my cataracts aching in the light. I checked out everything that might fit me. I made 4 choices to try on, went to dressing room, sat in poop. There was even a huge pile of it I missed (some's one's darling I presume). I ran out in my long underwear calljng for help. The girl seemed not to care, the "Store Manager" seemed not to care. I had someone's poop on my long thermal underwear and my long white blouse. They implied I must have done it. I volunteerred to take off my undewear and show them. I found the real genuine store manger, who also could care less. iIthrew the disgusting clothes on the floor. He "wondered" where I got the sweater I had on. It was over my blouse long before I came to shop at Kohls, that day. They were not nice. No apology, no effort to take away the disgust and horror of sitting in someone unknown's human excrement. Finally I took two tight like pants and a cheap looking blouse. i am a senior citizen, with bad legs, bad eyes, no sense of smell usually, and nerve damage in my arms. i have a limit to how much I can walk, long passed by then. I wrote on Kohls facebook web site to complain. I received an antiseptic, say nothing, admit nothing, email hoping I did not miss future deals at Kohls. Around Christmas I really hate fighting the crowds and finding parking at the malls over and over again. Kohl's is shopping worthy for a few reasons- tons of stuff on their website, avoid the malls, and Kohl's cash is offered a couple of times a year which really does get you free stuff. What I have purchased from Kohl's in the past- photo frames, fashion jewelry, NCAA fan merchandise, a Keurig coffee maker, a pair of summer wedges, and a handful of clothing items that don't have a long life, but satiate my trendy urges for a season. read more

My mother and I both dislike this store for the same reasons. I would rather go to Goodwill than shop at Kohls, at least the patrons at Goodwill know how to keep their children from running you over in their roller skate shoes and the employees know how to keep the store clean. I can't say the same for Kohls. The store is continually filthy with clothes thrown all over the floor, trash strewn around, spills that no one has bothered to clean up in the makeup section. Jewelry is a nightmare. Shoes are always even worse, especially in the clearance section. The dressing rooms-abominable. The dressing room doors for both women's areas are broken in some places-you have to slam the door to get it to close, and then you have to pull with all your might to get it to open. Some don't close at all. There are always mountains of clothes piled up, and I've found half-eaten food in one of the dressing rooms before. Lines are horrifically long. I've seen lines six or seven people deep here and only one register is open. The cashier is either too overwhelmed to call, doesn't see the need to, or there are no people to assist with the volume of customers. The only reason I give them a two star review is for their sales and excellent return policy. You can do far better at Macy's or at the plethora of stores in the Oaks Mall, which is why they get my business. read more

This location, is the first and only Kohls I've ever been exposed to. I can understand the appeal. However its always really eerie inside. There's hardly anyone ever there. I think I've seen at the most 4 other people shopping, and maybe 2 cashiers at one time. And this place is huge! Walking around after 5 minutes starts to get creepy. But I guess the lack of foot traffic is what keeps the store pretty tidy. I have yet to purchase anything but 80% of earrings. The Kohl's in Moorpark is worth the drive for us Simi Valley people. Im not 100% sure why, but they seem more organized and their selection of clothes is great for a business woman -- the options in Simi are old woman casual in the business section (just my 2 cents). Stopped by yesterday on the way back from the Scandinavian Fest at Cal Lutheran University for a shopping binge. Brought coupons with me from mail ads which were not quite yet in their date zone for 30% off. They were two days from being active. Since I had picked up several hundred dollars of men's clothes, I thought I would do some hagglin'. As it turned out the manager was in a business mood and although she did not take the full 30% off she did give me 20% off which pleased me greatly. Hooray for Kohl's and their enlightened management! I usually find what I am looking for and in my sizes at that location without any hassle. Sales people in this store are generally friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. When lines back up the management will call for additional cashiers quickly. Huge but messy - this Kohl's has most of what you'll need to get a home ready (shoes, curtains, bedding, children's clothes) but it's always a mess and quite disorganized. Staff is nowhere to be found, and this particular location gets extremely messy during sales. read more

I had placed an order online and had to go to Kohl's in Moorpark to pick up my item. I just want to point out that Dave was in customer service and was great. We had to wait a bit becuase he was by himself. Finally, this lady went and started helping, however, she, on the other hand went and was a bit rude to Dave and was unprofessional. As a customer I felt a little uncomfortable witnessing how the co-worker treated Dave, on the other hand, Dave just smiled and kept helping the customer in front of me. The Moorpark kohls location is definitely my favorite! They always seem to keep their store in good condition. I love the fact that they give you kohls cash for every $50 you spend. You also get rewarded for using your kohls reward card! :) They also will send you plenty of coupons throughout the months. $10 off $30 or you can score 15% 20% or 30% off your entire order! :) You can really save so much you just have to be a smart shopper and pay attention to when they have their best deals and coupons to use! Return without a receipt at holiday time. First they want to swipe your drivers license Not just take the number but put it throw their system. I guess they will let you know when they get hacked. Also I was given a price that was the lowest in the last 90 days. Less then half of the regular price. I asked for the date of that price. Can't provide it. Of course I don't think it existed.
