As for the service at Kohl's we went there with the main reason of purchasing Yankee candles for our house. A Christmas event that is upcoming, we tend to get Yankee candles because they smell very good. Well as you can see from the pictures there is something definitely wrong with most of the Yankee candles at Kohl's. Granted they are discounted 50% off of whatever they fee Retail should be! So we met some very nice associates there. They were very nice but trying to get our particular candle with our coupon and not feeling we should pay full price for a candle that is defective but yet still willing to help Kohl's and take it off their hands at a reasonable amount. So I've been coming to this Kohl's for quite some time. I can't say I have ever considered reviewing one until today. Not to say anything has been a bad experience, it's just always been an ordinary one. I'm not typically a Kohl's shopper, I usually utilize them for my Amazon returns as it's the closest to my house & has the least wait time. Usually when I go in, it's high school boys or people in their 20s just there to work. And there's nothing wrong with that. I'm not complaining about it one bit. Not everyone comes to work like Arouge. And no, that's not a figure of speech. That is her name and she is so awesome. By far the most personality I've ever seen come out of that store. I never recalled seeing her work there until tonight. I walk up to the counter to start my returns and she was about to walk through the double doors to the back, then saw me and asked if I had returns. so she happily scurries over to behind the counter. Another employee came over the intercom announcing the store would be closing in 15 minutes. Most employees would be stoked their shift was almost over, and yet this employee with a good ass attitude says "Already? I don't know why we close at 9. I feel like we should close at 12" ! She happily waited for me to get my ridiculous amount of returns in order which I am so grateful for. I usually am good about having it organized ahead of time, but this time there was a little bit of confusion on my end. Nonetheless, she was very understanding and kind about it. Then I heard someone on the walkie asking her about her break. After hearing some responses I discover this sweet woman was doing my returns on her break! I asked why she's not on the dayshift because it's employees like her that would definitely brighten up someone's day. So Kohl's can you please take the time to acknowledge her awesome attitude in some fashion? I see those employee of the month parking spots in the front. If nothing else, give her one of those as long as she's an employee there. She deserves more than that and I know I can't be the only customer she's gotten a compliment from. I frequent this Kohls often, almost always for Amazon returns...and then get drawn in to browse around! It's very conveniently located in the Redhawk Towne Center on Temecula Parkway and there is tons of parking. They are great for Amazon returns however, they keep moving the Amazon kiosk around! Thankfully, the staff here are also super helpful - most recently, a clerk was helping someone else but saw me walk in and head to the old kiosk with an Amazon return and she actually stopped me to steer me to the new location which I greatly appreciated. Kohls is also a nice choice for discount shopping. They always have sales which are sometimes hard to keep track of but most of the checkout clerks will alert you to sales, coupons, etc. Lines at checkout are sometimes long, but move quickly as managers seem to be on top of adding more open registers. The store is well laid out and fairly organized. Changing rooms are usually kept up and cleared out regularly. There is a Sephora now located inside this Kohls which I have yet to check out but like that the option is there. Overall, this is a great Kohls store that I'll continue to frequent! read more

I normally go to the UPS Store or Amazon Fresh to drop off my Amazon returns. I went to this location since I was nearby. When I mistakenly went to the wrong area (general checkout area), a newly arrived cashier (assumingely starting her shift) apologized and told me to go to the back corner. When clarifying, she rudely repeated "back corner" with no further explanation. I'd would have appreciated more details such as seeing signs designating the Amazon returns area, but her just dismissing me without further explanation and in such an indifferent tone was rude AF. I remember Kohl's went head to head with Mervyns....we know how that ended. Boy I miss Mervyns. This location is close to me for shopping. Always lots of parking and discounts! The mens department is where I generally go. I like the selection of shirts here. Nice assortment of casual and Hawaiian shirts. I like the Van Heusen and Cubavera lines. Pants aren't my friend here....either too tight or too baggy. Lots of selections in Levi's and Dockers. My wife likes shopping here occasionally as well. Good store to find a bargain. read more

Kohl's is a very nice option for discount shopping. Their sales prices make for very affordable shopping. I especially like their selection of children's clothes. They carry Carter's, Jumping Bean, and other very cute stuff. They also carry other name brand merchandise, like Nike, Adidas, and Converse. Everyday wear is decent quality, but not necessarily high quality. You get what you pay for. The Kohl's stores I frequent are Temecula, Menifee, and Murrieta, and they are all in the same basic layout. The stores are large, clean, and organized. What I like most about Kohl's is their dedication to philanthropy. One that is close to my heart is their support of Assistance League of Temecula Valley's (ALTV) Operation School Bell program. ALTV purchases Kohl's gift cards which are used to buy new school clothes for kids in need. Shopping nights are scheduled during the school year, and the kids come to Kohl's to shop using the ALTV gift cards. The Kohl's employees work the cash registers, and they get as much joy as the ALTV teams when you see the big smiling faces on the kids as they walk out with bags of new clothes. Came here to drop off an Amazon package, and It was my turn. So I walk up and say hello to the guy named DAVID checking in my package. He completely ignores me. Doesn't say a single word the whole transaction. SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE. Hands me my receipt and just stares at me. The next lady comes up, and he said hello to her, and asked how she was doing. Definitely won't be coming back to this location. Guess I'm not welcome here. David needs to work on his customer service skills and not make customers feel unwelcome. read more

Well kept, plenty of parking, large store. They have some pretty good deals going on. It's pretty cool to receive Kohl's cash, to use in the next week or so with no real hoops to jump through. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. All of the associates we interacted with were nice, I don't really like being harassed to sign up for the store credit card, honestly if I was interested I would ask for more information. This review is in regards to the new Sephora that just opened up inside! The people working this day at the Sephora department were all super helpful and friendly! Audrey was the main gal that helped me. I was trying to pick out a new perfume, which is super difficult imo since every scent smells different to every person and on every person. She was knowledgeable and spent a significant amount of time with me (I was indecisive and taking forever) helping me pick testers to smell, and the most important thing to me: she gave her honest opinion on what she thought smells good VS what she thought smells sub-par! Because of the irrational fear of catching COVID-19, you can try on shoes, but not clothing. So if you're the mom of a growing boy, your only solution is to buy a ton of stuff online, figure out what fits, and return the rest of the stuff..This makes no sense. No sense at all. I rarely shop here. It's overpriced cheap stuff that looks funny after it gets and dried, so I only come here when I absolutely have to. But I won't come here anymore. Kohls has a good variety of clothes, shoes, travel accessories, home and cooking gear. They have good sales but you can find somethings cheaper at other stores. What Kohls has hands down is there return policy. It is the most generous I have ever seen even better then Costco. I have been inside this store on average once a year. The wife, however, checks this store out several times a year. She does a vast majority of the shopping when it comes to the types of items they sell. I have made a few jewelry item purchases in the past and was pleased with each transaction and the price paid. I have always liked the overall variety of items within this store and have purchased a few other items. It has always been clean and I have never had a problem with any of the folks that work here. When I read these reviews it just blows my mind the reasoning behind the one or five star reviews. Some of these reviews, in both directions, are just plain ludicrous in the reasons they are rated. It makes me scratch my head and say WTF. I had not been inside Kohl's since before the pandemic, but had to swing through to drop off an Amazon purchase. I must say that was one of the easiest drop-offs to anywhere that I have had to make. I was almost tempted to browse around, but I had other tasks to complete so got the heck out. But, I think I may be returning soon to meander around and see if anything catches my fancy. read more

I shopped Kohl's Wed, the 25th. Upon arriving home I could not find a bag of items I purchased. Nor did I have the receipt. I drove to Kohl's tonight(the 27th) to see if they could help see if the bag was left at the counter. The lady in customer service was polite and helpful. She reached out to the manager on duty and the manager began the task of checking the camera. It was a long process. I wandered around killing time, since she had to review the store tape. The manager was able to pull me up and see I indeed had carried out the bag(s) in question. (Now to find it at home.) I appreciate the time they both spent helping me. I found the bag at home, placed inside of an empty box my husband had in put in the laundry room!!!! Again, thank you so much for all the help!!! read more

Sephora review! Came in this morning ready to get some new foundation, concealer, primer, brush- etc no one greeted us, waited probably 10 minutes, walked through the aisles, tried making eye contact, one gal was helping a customer with her makeup but even she didn't say "he'll or "be with you one moment." The cashier, in a scooter, didn't say hello, I tried walking up to her but she got on the phone, then after ignoring customers and talking to a Kohl's employee... two other groups came in and she greeted them and asked them if they needed help and scooted right past me. Rude. Lost a big sale. I'm in customer service and wouldn't make anyone feel this small and invisible! No apology either just a smug smile on her face her face. Had to add Ellie was her name and the other gal that came ignored me was Katie. The staff at the register gave me false information about whether my credit will get pulled by her "updating" my information for my existing credit card with Kohl's. As an existing credit card holder, I was told that she was just updating my address and "reactivating" it as I haven't used it in a while, and when I specifically asked her whether my credit will get pulled again for this, she said NO. However, I did get a hard enquiry from the credit card department! I am now very upset because I felt like I got lied to. Please make sure your staff members do not give out information if they are not sure, especially when it comes to credit, and do not lie to customer's face just to get bonus by signing up a card or "updating information"! Last week my mom and I went into this Kohls location in Temecula to do some shopping. While we were in the dressing room trying on clothes, my mom received a call from my grandma and answered the phone. Right as she picked up the phone, some woman who walked in after us started yelling, "f$&@'#% A" over and over again. She was getting louder and louder each time and sounded very aggressive so I told my mom to go get a manager. While my mom was doing that I asked her what her deal was and she said that she didn't want to hear my mom "yapping on the phone while she's trying to try on clothes." I of course knew then that this woman was out of her mind. My mom also didn't have the call on speaker and was simply telling my grandma what we were up to. When the manager came in, the insane woman of course shut up. The manager hung out with us to make sure she wouldn't start up again. The woman left the dressing room and the manager followed her to make sure she would leave and not cause any more trouble. The insane woman then started making a scene at the front of the store and the manager smelled alcohol on her breathe. She also appeared to be on drugs. The insane woman left the store and the manager was kind enough to come back to the dressing room and tell us she had left. About 10 minutes later the manager came back and told us she had re-entered the store. The insane woman came into the dressing room and told the manager that I was being "a Karen" and then proceeded to yell at me and tell me to "go f$&@ myself." The manager got her out of the dressing room and called the security guard over. The security guard wasn't much help but I wanted to shout out all the women at this Kohls. Lauren, Ellie, Julie, Kim and Leslie all walked my mom and I to the front of the store and basically stood around us since the insane woman was still in the store and we didn't know where she was. They made sure we were safe and walked us out of the store as well and made sure we got into our car with zero issues. The women at this location are amazing!!! Thank you to all of you. You made my mom and I feel safe and looked out for. To the insane woman, you obviously need serious help, and I hope you get it. Being on drugs and drunk at a Kohls on a Wednesday afternoon, harassing a mom and daughter for simply taking a phone call, isn't a good look. read more

The customer service is non existent, and the hoops you have to jump through to redeem Kohl's cash and or pick the right dates for a special promotion is ridiculous. I prefer to shop on line for better product size selection, but the shipping costs make it prohibitive if you aren't shopping for a lot of items. I am disabled so I don't always feel up to the extensive walking, and the "buy in store" option is really inaccurate. I had to return an item and they took off extra money even though when I actually redeemed my KC for once and spent far more than the amount of the cash, they said it didn't matter. I came here to get a gift for my aunt. At the end of the visit, I went to self checkout. I pressed the option to get a gift receipt but when the printer printed the receipt it ran out of paper. I asked the store associate who was there to help if she could refill the paper and while I was in the middle of trying to get help another woman interrupted saying "excuse me". The lady helping me at the time then completely ignored me and turned around to help the other woman. I found this to be completely rude considering I was definitely being helped first and had not yet received the help I was looking for but once the other lady spoke I was completely disregarded. I get a very unwelcoming vibe from this store, like white people get treated nicer than Hispanics and African Americans. I had to get slacks and a white shirt for my husband today. I went to the men's dept. and their shelves are the worst I have ever seen. Trying to find His size in the marked areas was so frustrating. I literally checked at least 15-20 different areas of shirts for right size. Whoever stocks shelves just shoves whatever size in any slot they feel like. The same with pants and jeans. I will never shop here in the men's dept again! Never been so frustrated and when I asked to get help or see manager I waited forever! Finally had to leave. My business is going elsewhere now.
