Tuesday 12:45pm. We saw a couple of tables with people having their lunch, plenty of more tables available. No wait time and quick service including drinks being brought out and orders taken. Bento boxes have such a huge portion and good variety of food on it with good flavors. I wanted smaller portion so chose to order Sushi Sashimi Lunch for $20.99. Sushi Sashimi Lunch came with 8pcs California Roll, 4pcs nigiri and 6pcs sashimi. Sashimi seem to vary because other person in my table ordered the same but got different sashimi. California Roll was California Roll, nothing special. If I had an option, I would not get California Roll. Sashimi and nigir were good, I would say 80 out of 100. There is not too many options in the area, so we keep coming here. We will keep coming here as long as there are no other options for Asian food. read more

My mom suggested we give this place a try because she came here before and raved about the food. We went on a Sunday and they did have a large crowd due to those coming from church. We did have to wait about 25 minutes before being seated. We had two guests with us so they wanted to do the hibachi table. Once seated, we were paired with another family and we all had one server. The server was nice but he really didn't do a lot of the hibachi antics that everyone finds comical. I thought he was because in our party we had a young child who enjoys that kind of stuff. The food was really good I got the chicken/steak hibachi plate with fried rice. There wasn't much words to describe it: all it was amazing. What I do like is that they don't over seasoned the vegetables/meat. Everything was appropriately seasoned and wasn't stingy with portions. We all had food for the next day. I stopped in to have dinner at this spot while in the area this past Saturday. I ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice and Spring Rolls. The Spring Rolls were so delicious, hot, and likely were made from scratch. The Shrimp Fried Rice was more so fried rice served in clump, was lukewarm, and had a few shrimp on top of it. The rice component was not fresh and was not hot. I understand the accommodations being made for COVID-19, but please do not serve customers leftover food. I found the young lady very kind at the front and it only took about 15 mins to complete my order. The soup was good and the salad served with it was good as well. I also loved the hibachi veggies, but they tended to be somewhat overwhelmed by an oniony taste. Overall, pretty decent but not the best I've had in hibachi by far. read more

Found this spot for lunch after leaving the Tanger. Since the restaurant was closing, I ordered the chicken & shrimp habachi and the crunchy dragon roll to-go. The habachi was great, seasoned well and the vegetables had a nice crunch still. My only complaint is the eel in my sushi still had bones in it, luckily I didn't swollen any. We started with beef negimaki which was good but had a soy sauce instead of the teriyaki we are used too. We both had steak hibachi which came with soup and a ginger salad. The soup was different as it wasn't miso but what they call house clear soup. It had pieces of tempora in it which made it yummy until it got soggy. The ginger salad dressing had wasabi in the dressing which was surprising! The dinner comes with a really yummy side dish of teriyaki noodles so I decided next time I will not bother to pay the extra $2 for fried rice (which I barely ate!) the yum yum sauce had wasabi in it too! Chef likes wasabi! Overall it was good. Our service was excellent! We will definitely be back! Oct 4th very disappointing. Flavorless steak hibachi. Took most of it home so I can doctor it up with at least some salt and pepper. Slimy broccoli and the goyza was stuffed with something white which the waiter said was pork but it wasn't. Next time, I will not order the chicken fried rice. It doesn't come with vegetables it's prepared with chicken over rice, basically. I ate at least 4 bites, with no exaggeration. Went here for lunch because it's near the outlet in locust grove. My husband wanted hibachi and I wanted sushi but I would need to eat hibachi too in order to sit with him so we just went with sushi. We had steamed dumplings for appetizers. They were so small but also so good. Then we had 4 rolls initially: spicy tuna, alaska, Big Mac and angel. All were pretty good but spicy tuna and angel were better so we ordered those 2 for a second round. The second time, it took forever to come. The guy that initially was supposed to do it somehow disappeared and then the waiter had to ask the other guy to make it. I should ding them for it on the review but I'm nice today and the food was pretty solid. May come back since I didn't see the 20% off coupon on yelp. read more

Eel was $2 but still a good deal and still my favorite piece. UNAGI! The restaurant is pretty big and they offer hibachi and regular table seating which is great because I don't often like to sit next to strangers to eat fried rice. The best part of the meal is the plating!!!. This place has the fanciest sushi plating that I have ever seen! We have all had the plastic grass but they used small l.e.d. ice cube lights and lots of carved garnish. I should have took a picture. It is really hard to find good sushi in this area - this place is the best I've had around here and better than a lot of Atlanta sushi, too. Needs more attention. First of all, the choices of sushi rolls are so extensive. I like having a lot of variety and they definitely have that. They also offer special rolls off the menu just for the week. Then, the rolls are all so unique and delicious! I didn't try one thing I didn't like. The presentation by the sushi chefs is so beautiful and you can tell they work hard on what they serve. This was my first time visiting here and I have my favorite places to eat habachi so i was a little skeptical. Most people think Benihana when they think habacbi but I think Benihana's sauce is gross. What is habachi without the Yum Yum sauce... I was very happy to see that their sauces had so much flavor. It definitely wasn't the generic flavors. They give PLENTY of food and even serve noodles. My husband and son didn't like the noodles but I thought it taste great with the sauce. I would have never thought that this small town would have such wonderful Hibachi food. I do wish that the person cooking would have paid more attention to our family as much as he played tricks with the other family. Our son was so excited and taking in all the tricks while the other family had smaller kids who were scared of the noise and fire. I guess he was trying to win them over. The waitress was helpful and kept our drinks full. I was surprised to see that the combination menu didn't have salmon with shrimp. Overall, great experience.
