We got the dry rub with lemon pepper. The wings were delicious and the fries were good too. We got there at 11am Sunday night. Service was kind of slow and there was a man sleeping on the floor. A policeman came and escorted him out. This probably wouldn't happen during more regular hours.
Have been to KOK numerous times and each time the food is always piping hot and generously seasoned. Great spot to watch a game and the drinks are good too. Staff is polite and helpful. Only advice: make sure to double check your order before leaving and sometimes items are a tad too salty.
Rating: 4/5 We dropped by KOK Wings & Things during St. Patrick's Day weekend, and the vibes were on point. The place was packed, everyone was having a good time, and the energy was perfect -- great music, good crowd, and just an overall fun atmosphere. We were excited to try the food and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the chicken wings (went with two of the cashier's recommended flavors -- both were packed with flavor and spice) and also tried the battered fish, which was solid and had a nice crispy texture. This is definitely one of those spots where the vibe matches the food -- fun, casual, flavorful, and a great place to kick back with friends over wings and drinks. Overall: 4/5. Great energy, solid food, and wings that deliver. Would definitely come back to try more flavors and soak in the good times.
FIRE WINGS!! These are some of, if not the wat wings I've ever tasted! We got an array of flavors and they were all delicious. Pick any flavor and you won't be disappointed. The fries were also FIRE!! The service is a little weird because it is a walk up counter but it didn't affect my experience! We went for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty empty.
The workers here are nice, but as far as getting your food in a timely manner goes, they seem to struggle. My mozzarella sticks came extremely late because the ticket was lost, we were offered shots instead of a refund (which I did take lol.) Then much later, I ordered catfish sliders that quite literally took almost an hour. Again, the ticket was lost. I gave them 3 stars because the food is very tasty and fresh WHEN YOU DO GET IT but no telling how long that'll be. I'd definitely stick to getting to go orders or drinks only while here. The ambiance is fun.
Location: This new food spot is conveniently located in the district garden area and close to downtown. There are two parking lots that you can park in! Ambiance: The restaurant is modern and has several seating options. There's a patio with a cute flower wall for pictures and located inside are two nice size areas for seating. We sat on the side where the bar is located. Staff: Welcomed immediately as we walked in and was sat within 2 minutes. They asked for your phone number and name to put into the system! Our server was really friendly and attentive. Food: All I can say is I definitely will be going back! The food was great! We tried the mozzarella sticks, wings (sun sauce which was a hot and sweet), fried fish, loaded fries with sin sauce and ranch, fish sliders, fried shrimp, and the tasty punch called KOK punch.. Sooo good. Those fish sliders (seasoned well) hands down were my fav!! They didn't have any dessert but I suppose they may add later. My overall experience was great and I will be back! :)

I had sweet heat and lemon pepper wings, a catfish & shrimp basket with a side of sweet heat/honey garlic rub fries and everything was absolutely amazing. To add to my experience, the customer service was great and the atmosphere was very fun. Next time I'm in the area, I'm stopping by for sure!! If you stay in the area, then you must check them out!

They have a few different combos and several variations of sauces. Three style of wings. As a first timer, I asked for recommendations. They have several TVs, great for game day. The venue itself is great. A few shops in the same center with easy access parking.

Beautiful wait staff, great customer service, and huge wings with explosive flavor! The wings here are big, I don't know if I mentioned that. A five piece and fries is enough to leave you satisfied. I'm not sure how these wings are that big but I got a 10 piece and could not finish. My favorite thing about the menu is the customization. KOK offers breaded, traditional , and boneless wings. You can get the order of wings two ways with an order of 10. You can mix and match the order between dry rubs, naked, wet, or one of the blended wet/dry rub combo concoctions. There's a lot of ways you can go. I have tried and loved the Honey Drip, Hot Tang, Krucial, and the Sum Nasty. The KK and Rebel are also pretty good. All of them pack a a flavorful punch. You can also get loaded fries and add any of the sauces or fry rubs on top, along with ranch sauce. They are all about the flavor here. They have an interesting drink menu too. My favorites are the Raspberry Lemon drop freeze, the Klinton on the Beach, and the Liquid Marijuana. They have awesome to go service as well. Just place the ride through the Toast and head to the pickup area located at the front of the establishment as soon as you enter. They have a spacious seating area both indoors/outdoors with flat screens if you want to watch sporting events while you eat. This place is great for a date or big party. This is a place worth checking out to get your wing fix.

However, catching them when it's calmer does mean the food will come out quickly and it will taste delicious!
Stopped by this restaurant located within the 'Electric Depot' complex on Government Road to get a bite to eat. I actually went to this complex to try some BINGSU ice cream at another business located there, but wanted something savory to eat first. I really wanted to eat at the Ramen restaurant, but they didn't open till after 5:00 p.m. and I was here earlier in the day. Can't really say that I truly enjoyed my meal at this chicken wing establishment, but it was the only savory place open at the time of day I was visiting the 'Electric Depot' complex. On the positive side the wings were very large in size and very meaty. However everything was so laden with salt, that I found myself taking paper napkins to wipe off the seasoning on both the fries and wings in order to finish my meal. Perhaps I would have done better ordering one of their wet coatings for the wings, but I find that many of those are not only messy to eat, but often lean on the sugary side OR overly spicy. Neither of those options tempt me. Thought I'd be safe with the lemon pepper dry rub, but it was WAY too salty. They also put seasoning on their fries, similar to Po-Boy Express on Florida Boulevard, which tastes nice in the first couple of bites but then the salt level exponentially increases to the point where it's inedible. On the positive side as I said before the meat was generous on the wings and both fries and wings came to the table piping hot. I just found the seasoning unpleasant in regard to its sodium level. Granted, I'm a senior citizen and I don't tend to eat tons of salt... so the younger crowd may not mind this dangerous level of salt intake... but I have to take a pass. Aside from trying to regulate my salt intake, if the seasoning on anything I eat (anywhere) is so salty that I can't taste the actual flavor of the food itself... then it's just too much salt. If I find myself at the 'Electric Depot' again at a time offay where the Kok chicken wings restaurant is the only savory place open, I will DEFINITELY tell them not to put the seasoning on the fries and ask to taste one or two of the wet coatings before choosing the one that I would go with on my wings. Recommend you do the same if you have any type of sensitivities to seasonings or high salt contents in your food.
We came in late after my daughter's game and the service was quick. You place your order at the counter and pay, they give you a number and your seated. Everything was really good. I was really craving wings so my husband & I decided to go to KOK wings. We anticipated a packed house due to it being a Saturday night but it was a complete ghost town. That didn't bother me though because that meant our food came out faster and not a loud atmosphere. We both got lemon pepper & sweet heat wings with loaded fries. It gave everything I needed them to! Def the wing fix I needed. We also had a cocktail/ cant beat $6 cocktails regular price! Let's talk KOK Wings and let's specifically talk about my unexpected experience on a Wednesday Night. Honeyyy, the college students were out and it was what I would deem a very successful karaoke night. Service wasn't slower than usual while the young people partied it up! My bartender wore the coolest multi-shaped glasses and DESERVES A RAISE! He didn't have a drink menu ready for me but still was able to cater to my want for a Gin Sour. He called it a Gin Honey Bee, I think ... We had such a good time and enjoyed the food so much because as you ordered your chicken, they were dropping it in the grease. Nothing was old or cold! I loved that for me and the guest I was with. The meal wasn't overpriced, it wasn't over seasoned and it wasn't undercooked! What more could I ask you read more

One of the newest restaurants in Baton Rouge it is located in the Electric Depot which isn't far from downtown Baton Rouge. The service was amazing. We were greeted by a smiling staff. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The drinks are good. The loaded fries were delicious. There is a nice outdoor area available and the playlist is a vibe. read more

Random Saturday outing and made my way to kok to try there wings to-go. The to go service was top notch and very friendly waitress. The order took a little bit longer than the eta originally noted, but that was okay as the waitress was nice and it was down pouring rain. Now to the food review, the naked wings have a nice crisp and the flavor profile fits what I ordered. I can't complain. I was concerned if the wings would be decent size or not since they are a bit pricier these days. However to my pleasant surprise the wings were pretty big for sectioned wings. The fries that came with the wings have a good extra spice or kick to it. The shareable platter, I'll say the southwest egg rolls were tasty, the mozzarella sticks are decent nothing noteworthy and the fried pickles were nice and crisp, but a bit too salty for me overall. As for the restaurant front and vibe of kok, it was welcoming and open. I would try again maybe get the breaded wings next go round and a fish slider. read more
I came to the soft opening for foodies! LOL! They have an awesome location at a happening place! Ample parking, a patio, a bar, and ample seating area! I tried the house margarita and it was just right! I got the platter with wings. Lightly breaded shrimp- crispy and not dry and it is NOT rubbery. The fish- the best part! Lightly battered, crispy, and moist. The middle. Now I don't eat fried fish but this is very very good!!! The naked honey-dipped chicken wings - the size was big and enormous! I received recommendations from my server specialist, Kam, and I appreciated her choice of sauces, drinks, and meals. She personally tasted the foods and gave me great recommendations!!! Everyone was friendly, the head CEO, DM introduced themselves to be. The DM helped me when I spilled water all over me (I'm so clumsy)!!! The bathrooms were clean! The patio is looking good! They have a to-go and delivery door too! It was a successful event! Service was good and food time was short! They are working on the 5 o'clock sun that shines inside the restaurant and I told them about the plain dinner roll. I'm glad I was able to attend this event!!! read more

Great place to watch the games! The wings were on point. We got breaded plain, hot lemon pepper, and sweet heat. They were fresh and full of flavor. The fries had a house seasoning and were crunchy. Their frozen margaritas were pretty good also! We will be back! read more

Man where do I start? I spent about $80 bucks on food & it was terrible. The chicken is GINORMOUS & everybody know niggas don't like no big ass chicken. Man look at this picture. I picked thru this 10 piece & left a few untouched because it just felt too big & rubbery. The sauces is what got this 1 star because I wish I could leave none. The "boneless" wings are almost baseball sized. Like dog.... The kids meal could fill-up a large man IMO. The $5 punch is just red kool-aid. I can't say anymore of what I really think on here, but this ain't it. read more

I've visited on more than one occasion. Each time I was seated immediately. I enjoyed sitting on the outside patio one breezy night. I didn't care for the bar area. It was too messy. They had a lot of unopened boxes behind the bar, the area just wasn't inviting. Now on to the food. The Fish Sliders are absolutely AMAZING!! Soft bread, well seasoned and crispy fried fish. I added the ranch dressing to it and it was delicious. The ranch had a slightly sweet taste. The only thing missing was lettuce. The fries were hot, crispy, and fresh. Now to say that this is a wing place, I didn't really care for the wings. I tried a jerk flavor and a sweet heat flavor. Also, I didn't like the size of the wings, there were too big. I tried the KOK punch and it was just okay. On my most recent visit I had the southwest eggrolls. They didn't have a nice appearance. Seemed to be over fried, however when I tried them they tasted pretty good. I would definitely go back for the fish sliders. read more

I spent 28.99 on 10 boneless wings and fries and the wings were HORRIBLE. They taste like HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE! I was recommended by a friend from Lafayette and I was excited about kok being in Baton Rouge, I was highly disappointed. On top of the saltiness the boneless wings were wayyy too big and undercooked without any breading. Fries were good. read more
I was super excited to try this spot because I heard such great things about the Laffy location. We came during lunch early in the week and it wasn't packed. Our server was very friendly and offered lots of suggestions. The jerk was on the menu but not available. We ordered the southwest egg rolls, wings and loaded fries. The egg rolls aren't your normal "southwest" egg rolls, however they are pretty cool and tasted like it was created with fresh ingredients. The wings were a nice size, warm in temperature and okay. The fries were just okay as well. We also ordered the KOK Punch. This is a new spot so I'm assuming they are working out some of the kinks. I'll try back in a few months. read more

The service was sub-par. The person taking my order seemed annoyed that I was there. They also smelled like Mary Jane. The food (chicken boneless wing) was not cooked all the way. Noticed it had a weird texture, when biting into a larger piece I noticed the raw coloration and spit it out. Ambiance was good. TVs everywhere. Nice outdoor area. Will not be coming back, do not recommend going here read more

I visited this new spot on a busy saturday evening with a group of 4. We waited 20 minutes for a table which was not bad however we tried to go to the bar to order a drink while we wait and the hostess informed us because of the small space people are not allowed at the bar unless they're seated there. The waitress was friendly and very informed about the menu and gave us great suggestions. For the amount of food you get, the price is reasonable. The wings are HUGE, so if you're not into big wings I wouldn't recommend this spot. Great flavor options and the the seafood was fried to perfection. The margaritas are really good too. My only real complaint is that the hightop chairs are rock hard, like sitting on the ground but other than that we had a great experience. read more
