This place turned out to be a pretty tasty restaurant. My family enjoyed two burritos a poke bowl and my younger one had to have spam roll. It all costed under $40!!! We were full Then we ordered miso soup which had a genuine taste not water run down, cheap taste. We finished off with taiyaki. Fish looking waffle filled with the sweets. We had red beans, custard and cheddar cheese. I liked the red beans, not too, sweet, not too, beanny like in asada burrito. Used to be good but has gone downhill. Portions have gotten super skimpy for the price, they're "open" until 10 but it seems like that depends on who's working, and the other day they dropped a rice paddle on the floor and then put it back in the rice. This is a regular spot we go to. Workers are usually very nice. Today we went and there were 2 workers, the man helped my husband and was super nice, the lady who helped me was a complete B. She had attitude for no reason. It's like she was counting every piece of item that went into my bowl. I asked for extra sprouts, since she literally only put 4 pieces, she looks at me and goes back to add ONE more sprout. Literally. Then I ask for crunchy onion, she put half a spoon so I asked for more, and she straight up just stood there and stared me dead in the eyes. I repeated myself, and she goes, I only put one spoon. So again I said, it's ok I'll pay extra, go ahead and put more, which then she reluctantly added a little more, and continued to glare at me. I mean.... they already barely have customers, you'd think they would value the ones who keep going back. They do ask you to fill out your order through a dry - erase menu which does take away the panic from not knowing how to order! They do not have Indoor dinning unfortunately but the place is small and have very limited space regardless. I was dying for Poke, and haven't found one in the Silverlake area, so I found this DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH in YELP. It is delish, I enjoyed the Spicy tuna and the Ahi. The Mild Spicy option coupled with the spicy mayo was perfectly spicy but not too spicy. This is a tiny lil gem on Cahuenga near the Cahuenga Corridor, and I'm over the moon that I found this place by chance. THE ONLY CON CAN BE EASILY REMEDIED. They didn't have a Spicy Salmon option, so please take my suggestion into consideration. read more

Got the burrito. Fresh ingredients but very small portions. It fell apart instantly and became a bowl. They only gave me 2 scoops of meat, which is about a mouthful. I want to be clear, this restaurant lied to me and my partner. We tried using their website a while ago, and even though their website said the charge was not going through, they charged us $400 for sushi we never got. And while they left a comment on Yelp about how they were sorry and they wanted to work with us, when we went in to actually deal with them, the manager said he didn't have control over the website, and we would have to send in a notice to the credit card company. And then, when we sent in a notice to the credit card company, Kokoroll blocked us from getting restitution through the credit card company. I just got home w/ my two bowls and am so disappointed in the portion. I'm not looking for mounds of fish/rice/salad but when the contents don't even reach halfway to the top of the package you know you're in for a very quick snack instead of a proper meal.
