Good spot if you're looking for cheap poke & big portions. Not the best / freshest toppings - pineapple is definitely a no for me. Staff was super nice when we came right at closing (Google maps had the wrong time listed) and still helped us out. Free parking lot right in front with decent spots. Was quite surprised how fantastic this was for such a casual gem tucked away. The flavor was excellent and I liked how they mixed all the toppings together first with a sauce before adding it on top of your base & topping it with dry add-ons. They were friendly and fast. The portions were generous and the salmon was fresh! They had more variety of proteins than most poke places I've been to. The place is small so there's only room for a few seats. Parking is next to impossible and the mini lot is horrendous, so be warned. read more

Food was fresh and delicious! It was very filling and not heavy. I appreciate the portions and presentation. The ladies were very kind and I appreciate the system of checking off everything you want. We took our own drinks and no issues there. Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. Fish is always fresh, my go to poke spot on the west side. Portions can vary depending on who's making your bowl, but when the owner is there he hooks it up and honestly makes the best poke bowl. This place was so surprisingly good, I'm writing this review as I'm eating. Poke'to is located in a plaza across the street from a Ralph's and adjacent a to Trader Joe's. Today is a Saturday and it's kind of a travesty that it's not packed. More for me, I guess? I ordered the 2-protein poke bowl with sushi rice, baked salmon, shrimp, imitation crab meat, cucumbers, green onions, crispy onions (excellent addition), corn, etc. Everything was so yummy and fresh. I'm the absolute opposite of a foodie and I think eating is kind of a chore so if I'm telling you a place is good and worth a visit, you gotta take my word for it. This is such a great little poke shop and they really seem to take pride in the quality. The bowls are packed with all the good stuff and it's such a value for what it costs. The fish is definitely the star and is always fresh as well as all the accoutrements that are ample to make any poke'er sing with anticipation as they load up your bowl. They also do their "Big Burritos" which are truly awesome. A sushi bowl in the power of your hands. I haven't tried all their other offerings but they seem just as fun and well thought out. I usually come and pick up for take out but there's also a few cute tables to enjoy your creations if you can't stand another moment between you and that first bite. read more

DELICIOUS POKE! Good chunks and pieces of salmon. The manager is sweet. Right before diving into my bowl, i clumsily flipped the bowl in my hand and all the salmon came out. I offered to pay for the scoops of salmon, but he said it was okay. He helped me clean up. He was very kind and sweet to me even when I made such a silly mistake. This place is super tasty and fresh! It's a choose your own adventure style of establishment, where you get to build your own dish! No bathroom on site that I noticed. There's a small parking lot out front. Price wise it can be a bit steep, but you get very big generous portions. I will say this time the scoops of fish to rice ratio was a little lacking, but usually they take good care of you. Delivery has been super prompt and fresh in the past! read more

I've been to this location twice. I prefer the one in Hollywood to this location. The difference the workers. Why have forms if you aren't going to double check? I didn't realize I paid for extra protein when I didn't even mark that off. I wanted avocado NOT extra protein. I wished I would've caught onto that. The burrito is literally falling apart because he forgot to put the avocado, I even asked will it mess up the burrito to add it, and the tuna is drowning the shrimp tempura. The food is fresh and it tastes great but honestly wayyyyy too much spicy tuna, soggy shrimp tempura, and the whole thing falling apart has me so irritated I couldn't even enjoy it. read more

We ordered two sushi burritos and both of them came disheveled and was not even cut in half. The flavor was fine but the order came out rushed and ended up falling apart in the car... We were so excited for our meal but it was honestly super underwhelming for how expensive it was. We had an online order and they couldn't even add everything we asked for. My friend ordered tuna and didn't get tuna in hers. We paid extra for avocado and never got any, salmon portion was small (i got double salmon in my burrito) they only wrapped the burrito in one sheet of seaweed so obviously it got wet and soft which is definitely what made the burrito fall apart so fast. Poke'to was alright--nothing to rave about, but not bad either. The salmon was fresh, which I appreciated, and the cucumber was probably my favorite part. They cut it nice and thin, which added a good crunch without being overpowering. However, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. It didn't quite hit the mark for me, though that might just be personal preference. Overall, it was a decent bowl, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to get it again. read more

My daughter and I had a meeting in LA and needed to grab a bite near by. This place showed up on the map as being a 4 minute walk. She wanted Poke and so did I. Well to our surprise this place offers not only PoKe but also Poke Burritos!!! I have been saying this for years!!! We need GIANT sushi rolls to be a thing! The place is small but it's very clean and the service is friendly and you're immediately greeted. You are given a little form where you just check off all of ingredients that you want added to your burrito. Well the options are endless. The fish was fresh & the many toppings and sauces that are available are more than plenty! Loved it & will visit again when I'm in LA. They got everything wrong! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! This was delivered, so there was no way for them to make it right. I tried calling them directly, but no answer and no machine to take a message. I asked for spring mix, I got rice. I don't eat rice, so half my dinner with all the sauce was inedible. we ordered and paid for avocado on 3 bowls, and they didn't include it on 2 of them. They didn't include the crab, they didn't include the onion, the wasabi, the extra sauce I paid for and other things. I don't understand how they coudn't just follow the order, but they couldn't get it right!! SO Disappointed. $100 for a truly upsetting and disappointing meal! And Uber eats was no help in rectifying it. SO now I have to go to my credit card company to dispute this charge. So maddening. read more

I had no issues. The two protein plate is $14.95 and the 3 protein plate $16.95. I guess in terms of value, the price for value was typical. I didn't get charged extra and got a few toppings, 3 proteins and sauce. Pretty hefty serving. Parking is a private lot and I easily got a spot. Takes cards and Apple Pay. Save your money. I spent about $17 for a poke bowl with two scoops of two different proteins, a couple different sauces and several toppings. Instead of two full scoops, I got just about 5 small chunks of tuna and about 5 small chunks of salmon, not a whole lot of toppings either- I had about 3-4 pieces of pineapple. I've been to other poke bowl spots that load your bowl up. The portions are very disappointing. They have you fill out a form for your order and then you wait until they call your name when they're done making your order, so you don't get to see them make your bowl in front of you like other places do. If I had known that they weren't going to fill my bowl up with the two full scoops of protein that I ordered and if I was able to watch them make it in front of me, I would have said something in the moment. Didn't think I'd need to quality check my order though. Two full scoops should be plenty. Not enough of the sauce either. Mostly tasted like seaweed. It also took a long time to get my order because it seemed like they were taking their time carefully controlling the amount that they add to your bowl. You should just have a standard size scoop for each thing and throw them in the bowl. Shouldn't take 20 min to build a rice bowl when things are already prepped and ready to go. read more

They have a lot to look at and purchase while waiting in line from the islands. Nice touch. This place was quite busy and for good reason. They are only open Thursdays and Fridays 10-3. Per the nice male employee who gave me my order, they're open on Sat and Sun if they don't have a lot of catering jobs, otherwise they're closed. Their website says their dining room is closed, but the employee says it's open Thurs and Fri. Nevertheless, I followed the website's info and ordered pick up. Here's what I ordered: 1) Komai's Big Breakfast. Komai was Aloha's original chef. Two eggs with all the meats: Portuguese sausage, Spam, Vienna sausage, corned beef hash plus 2 scoops of rice and a Hawaiian roll. No surprises here, very nice. 2) Kal B Chicken plate lunch. Chicken marinated in the same sauce as the more familiar kalbi beef short ribs, with rice and mac salad. The chicken did not seem to take up the marinade as well as beef, so it was tasty but on the dry side. I'd probably give their chicken teriyaki a go next time. The mac salad was fine, did have potatoes. 3) Spam musubi. Again no surprises, classic 4) ordered a side of char siu, but it was not available. A nice go-to if you're hankering for classic Hawaiian on a Thurs or Fri.

After checking Yelp, I decided to order the Indonesian fried rice, BBQ chicken, and fried chicken. The fried rice was easily the highlight. I got it spicy, and it had a nice kick that made it feel more special. I'm not sure if this is part of the Indonesian style, but there were little bits of noodles mixed into the fried rice, which made it unique and really tasty. It also had a generous amount of meat inside, and the portion was huge. It was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've had recently. The BBQ chicken was solid too. It had that tasty Hawaiian-style plate lunch feel, came with mac salad, and was seasoned well. The fried chicken was a little mixed for me. The crispy outside was good, but the chicken itself had a slight off taste, like it didn't feel as fresh as I hoped. Not terrible, but definitely not my favorite item. Overall, Top Restaurant surprised me in a good way. The place itself is very no-frills, but the fried rice alone makes it worth coming back. I'd definitely return for that.
