A hidden gem of a neighborhood bakery! Smallish location, has 2-3 tables so it's really designed for take-out. Hot, dark coffee served fresh here, too. Excellent baked goods all the way around, most people love the kolaches though for me the standouts are the 'old fashioned' donuts and the croissants. The ham and cheese croissant is perfect: crispy, buttery, and with a cute ham roll inside a nice coating of cheese. Definitely worth your time to stop by and sample the goodies here! I really enjoyed my first experience here. The lady who helped me was super friendly and helpful. I wanted to try a kolache because I've never had one before. She said the sausage and cheese was the most popular, and I really enjoyed mine. She even heated it up for me right after I picked it out. I also got two blueberry cake donuts and a chocolate glazed donut with a filling. What's cool about this place is you can pick out the flavor filling you want in your donut. There was a lot of filling in my doughnut too. For one kolache and three donuts it was less than $6. read more

Lovely little place. Very nice lovely woman behind the counter. Quick 2 1/2 day trip back to my home state of Texas (1st in over 20yrs.). Searching for kolache to let my youngest try kolache (like I grew up with).. 1st day I went later in morning 10am sold out of kolache. I did get a sausage klobasnek tho. Omg.... yum yum! The dough was perfect & took me back in time to when my Czech great aunts would make for family reunions. Knew I had to try next morning got there 8am but alas, already out of klosche. I had a sudden craving for Kolaches and decided to stop by in the morning before work. It gets pretty busy in the morning and there is one nice lady who works there rushing to get everyone's order. The first thing I ordered were a dozen of the sausage, cheese, jalapeño kolaches. They are on the room temperature side but she asks if you want them to be heated. The bread/dough they use is sooooooo good. It tastes like the Hawaiian sweet rolls you buy at the store but so much better. The bread alone makes it amazing. And the jalapeño,cheese and sausage in the middle with the sweet bread is so delicious! I did try a strawberry donut the next week and the dough is fluffy and nicely sweetened. However, it has a slightly artificial strawberry taste which I'm not too fond of. I'll definitely come back for the Kolaches and to try some of the other donuts. read more

The donuts were utterly average and generic, nothing special at all, presumably using the same wholesale insta-donut ingredients as every other corner shop. Super friendly service with some of the best kolaches I've ever tried. For starters, the bread used for the kolaches are always made fresh, buttery, soft, slightly sweet and just delicious. The croissants are flaky, buttery, and melt in your mouth yummy. The woman who works at the counter is always so friendly and makes it a point to engage with you about your day and/or your plans for the day and, thus far, always includes a free glazed donut and a genuine smile with your order. Even with all of that, I think the absolute best thing about this little bakery and what will keep me coming back are their boudin kolaches. I'm talking about genuine Louisianan boudin sausages baked inside their oh so yummy (in case you've already forgotten; buttery, soft, slightly sweet) kolache dough. Hands down, best kolache ever.
