Had driven past this place several times and finally stopped for brunch. I used to live in the Czech Republic and was very fond of their kolachky. These aren't exactly those, but pretty darn tasty so I won't turn my nose up at them for not being "authentic." They're really good "things that Texans call Kolaches." I am so happy this place opened up I just wished its hours were longer. They have amazing fresh Kolache's. I recommend traditional sausage or sausage and cheese. Their breakfast options are amazing to but filling as they are filled with egg and your meat of choice. Reasonably prices and great staff. I haven't met anyone who did not like it there. An excellent breakfast for an excellent price. Whether your in a mood for a hearty, savory, or a sweet kolache this place has plenty of good variety for all. Also, you would be hard pressed to beat their breakfast kolache and coffee combo for under $4. It's a chain and we use to grab breakfast here at least once a month when we lived in Houston. Now we are in Oklahoma where the kolaches are more traditional so our Ranchero cravings have been building. We were so excited to see this one in Plano - especially so close to Central Market. We dealt with our craving and even got to have some Katz's coffee. We should have ordered some sausage and cheese to go and frozen them when we got home, but it's definetly a place to try. read more

Wide selection of kolaches, but only one of the employees knew what was in each kolache. Did not care for the bacon, egge, and cheese kolache...it was too dry. Loved the spinach kolache (must eat for spinach artichoke dip fans), peach, and italian chicken. The dough of the bread is very soft, and I can see how it will be a great dinner roll. Prices are reasonable, and it's a great alternative to a donut shop. read more

I eagerly awaited this location to open since I am always in the area. Usually this is a very friendly place and 'Jose' with the big radio voice makes it very lively. I even catered my company Xmas breakfast from here by just walking in and ordering boxes of assorted kolaches totalling over $100. I went in today @ 10am and the 'manager' was EXTREMELY rude. He berated Jose right in front of us and never acknowledged my presence even though I was 1st in the waiting line but others were having their orders taken. He kept speaking to and bragging about being in the marines the lady behind me who was nice enough to tell me it was because she had been in before. Still no excuse and I told him so when he finally took my order. I asked for last 2 of an selection and paid him. He kept asking disinterestly if I wanted more. He refused to turn around and see that there were only the quantity of 2 I had asked for even when I pointed and Jose tried to sell them also. I had to tell Jose and his customer I had already bought them. He never advised if there were more in the kitchen. He kept running to the kitchen but doing nothing between every step of filling my order of 2 kolaches...pick up bag, run to the kitchen; open bag, run to the kitchen; pick up a napkin next to the tray where my items were, run to the kitchen. He finally put my order in the bag, the bag disappeared and he ran between 3 registers to finally give me my change. He then rudely proceded to help the next customer. I had to ask where my order was and he advised it was in the microwave. I advised him he had not asked and I hadn't wanted them warmed up. He took the bag out, shoved it at me and said sarcastically 'have a BLESSED day!'. No one else got that salutation so I felt right in telling him he was a horse's patoot. Army rules!!! I won't be back until he is gone or while he is not there. I never had kolaches until this place and they may not be original but most of them ARE pretty tasty. I don't care for the foul tasting mushy 'diced' ham in the kolaches or croissants but I love, love, love the bacon and cheese variety!!! BACON!!! read more

How did I miss this? Sumptuous, lush meats folded neatly into fluffy warm golden bread. Its so simple, DAMN my lack of initiative and tendencies toward laziness. Jalapeño popper! It's pure cream cheese with jalapeños and bacon pieces and it's amazing. Their fruit ones are good and they have a vast variety. Down side is once they run out they don't make more. read more

Nice service but has only one unit bathrooms... so not a good choice for a group of 15 to go for breakfast.

The kolaches are slightly different from a regular donut shop but they are absolutely delicious! I had no idea there were so many different variations of kolaches. Try the bulgogi one if they have it, it is the best kolache I have ever had. read more

Nice kolaches here including some "traditional" flavored like poppy seed, one of my favorites. The savory ones are stuffed full, not too greasy or overly- sauced, just packed with chicken or go or whatever you pick. Also think their coffee is above average. Boss/Owner/Manager....excellent service by your employees and excellent product. I stop by maybe 2 or 3 mornings each week BUT...you need to add some lighting around the drive up window. It is not safe. As a 6:30 AM customer I can't see if anyone is approaching my car while I have my window down and your employees can see if someone is lurking outside the window. You actually should have a light and security camera but I would settle for a light. I have to turn on my inside car lights to see the money or card I am pulling out to pay. Too Dark!!!! read more

Kolache Factory in Plano is a little slice of Heaven! We've been coming here since they opened a couple of years ago, and every time it's perfect. I have a love-hate relationship with this location​ because the biggest issue I have with this location is consistency. Mainly I place my orders online for convenience​ and I just drive​ through to pick my order up. ​I do not know where the disconnect is or if the ladies don't care. If I place my order online and I am informed that it takes approximately​ 45 minutes to bake AND MY KOLACHES ARE COLD...that means that when I placed my order this morning you didn't make my batch fresh. You grabbed the kolaches on the stand and just served them to me. Insulting my intelligence​ left a bad taste in my mouth. I will find another location to visit. read more

I have been to this place to grab breakfast on occasion but was a bit disappointed today. The food is great, the owner is nice and most of the staff is wonderful. I want to mention the girl at the drive through window this morning who told me my total was $6.59 and when I handed her a 20, she gave me 11 dollars back with no receipt. I hope you're not doing this to every person who comes up the drive through window as some people may find it more offensive than others. read more

At the suggestion of a co-worker, I decided to give this place a try on a weekend morning. There were so many yummy-looking options we decided to grab a dozen to try one of everything! The staff was helpful and patient while I gawked at and struggled on what to choose. Prices were fair and everything tasted fresh. I would give 4 1/2 stars if that were an option with a 1/2 star deduction only for fact that fruit/jelly flavored items were a little too sweet for my taste and wished they had more in-house seating! read more
