    Charcuterie board

Service was FANTASTIC! We reserved the back of the bar for our Aunt's celebration of life. She would have loved this place! Darts, shuffleboard, food, and drinks. The place has such a chill vibe to it and was surprisingly busy for a Sunday evening. One star off because the food is just okay. We didn't like the steak we ordered as it was thin, overcooked, and turned to dust in our mouths. They did the right thing and took it off of the bill so we were happy.

My Girlfriend and I stopped by this joint on our mission to have a date night at every significant downtown in the DFW Metroplex. "Vickery Park Plano" had the honor of being Plano's representative restaurant. Vickery Park Plano... met the burden? I think? Their sloppy joe-ish burger (I forgot the name) was actually phenomenal in a guilty-pleasure sort of way, though I'm not totally certain I could describe the substance that held the brisket together. My girlfriend's entree was a little less impressive, a trait it shared with our server, who was a fleeting presence who seemed more intent using her phone in the kitchen/dining room hallway than refilling my Coca-Cola. All that to say, Vickery Park's damn good mystery brisket burger keeps it in the 4+ star range but is otherwise not too memorable. If you're from Plano this joint should definitely be on the casual pub line-up.

We are new to Texas, just moved in down the street and happened upon this happening little bar with excellent oldie playlist on a Friday evening! We ordered the Charcuterie board, jalapeño soup, wings, and grilled cheese. We'd reorder everything but the wings. The beer and cocktail selection was decent as well! The service was good and we will be back!

Typical lil dive bar, not a wide range of beer but I saw this one drink on my Untappd app so I just had to stop by to see if they had it. The beer exceeded my expectations. The staff was a bit there but not, I don't need a nanny so it didn't bother me too much.

Vickery Park Plano! Is one fun spot for drinks and food! The vibes is awesome! The pizza is so delicious, and drinks were great as well. Awesome places for night out with friends, family and fun date night spot!

Great place for lunch! My boss said this place had the best grilled chicken sandwich and he was so right! Very generous proportions, I was extremely stuffed after. The service was really fast and all the staff were very quick to make sure we had everything we needed and that our drinks were always full.

Service was fantastic! I walked in and the new server Sydney was extremely friendly and got us taken care of right away! I also loved the environment. A cool vibe that makes you feel right at home. The 3 stars is for the food. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. As a vegetarian I was really disappointed in the lack of options. I came to this restaurant looking at previous yelp reviews and saw the Plano Vegetarian sandwich, but it was no longer on the menu. I felt like I really had no options besides the hummus dish, salad and a breakfast Mingus item. The hummus dish was very good and great portion for $9. Carrots would make this dish better. The chicken dish was filling and you can choose any side. The waitress recommended this item for this restaurant and it was good.

I will add the location, service, and environment is 5 Starts! The craft beer and cocktails are always good too. This star rating is solely based on the food quality Charcuterie & Cheese Board $15 -This was a 2 star at best for what was plated in flavor. Everything seemed not well matched or just bland for what I've paid for at other locations known to provide a charcuterie option. The Creamy Jalapeno Soup - Saved the day and was so delicious! It is true to its name and has the kick of spice if you are down for it. Brisket Burger $10 Is described as 100% ground brisket patty flame-grilled with cheddar, caramelized onions, sliced pickles & a schmear of house-made 1000 island horseradish spread served on a sesame bun. - It is big and honestly true to its description, we were expecting the brisket to be evident as any sandwich usually is but as described its "brisket patty" - The side was just regular mash potatoes with slivers of gouda on top...nothing really impressive or different.

Things didn't go as smoothly as I hoped for her first visit, but management apologized and tried to make up for it. I appreciated the effort on their part and opportunity to give my feedback. I'm thinking it was an off day as the shrimp pasta was extremely salty on this visit. Food: My Reuben egg rolls were a delightful and delectable bite. One of my favorite appetizers. The Russian/Thousand Island dressing is so good. (4 STARS for the appetizer only) Pasta the presentation was great. However, today someone in the kitchen was heavy handed on the seasoning and it was super salty. The taste was not good. Seeing that I have had it multiple times I won't criticize it as much and chalk it up as a one off. Drinks: The Frosé is so refreshing. It's a cold slushie perfect for a warm summer day. The sample flight is also cool and a great way to taste all the drinks. The presentation is cute and it's a fun experience. (5 STARS) Ambiance: It's a cozy and comfortable vibe. I always feel relaxed and enjoy myself. (4 STARS) Service: The staff is always pleasant and friendly. I want to thank the manager for my concerns on the pasta. The way she handled it was professional. (4 STARS) So overall I had a good visit. Everything was a hit minus the pasta it was a miss this visit. I will definitely be back as this is one of my favorites.

Music was loud enough to where I could hear my husband across the table but not anyone else around me. We could still hear the comforting sound of the fountain and fans that blew a cooling mist too! We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and it came out in literally 60 seconds. Bread didn't taste like pretzels, but it was tasty and the sauces yummy. Like, I could order the bites and some beers and be perfectly content. But I was here for the fish n chips and I was so happy! I'd have preferred a full filet of fish, but the batter was so crispy and salty (I love salt!). Fries were okay and basic but not bad with malt vinegar (I can literally drink that stuff!). Husband got the elite brisket flatbread. It was huge and honestly we'll probably just split this next time we come. It was delicious and back of the throat spicy, but the toppings were outstanding and brisket was tender!! Service was soooo quick and easy and the waitress has the decency to look away as you tip. I did a flight (note: it's DIY), and hated that I spent $65 on four 2.5 oz of wine! The positive was that the waitresses were friendly throughout. After looking at the menu and waiting another 15 minutes we finally placed our order. We got our appetizer after waiting another 15 minutes. Thankfully that held us over until we got our burgers and fries. We started with tostada chips and queso. It was good and we ate it up pretty quickly. We requested another basket of chips to finish off the queso. To eat with our burgers we ordered hand punched fries and sweet potato fries. The hand cut fries were nice and thick and you could taste the salt. I enjoyed eating them with ketchup. The sweet potato fries were also thick and salty and you could taste the flavor of the potato. No need for ketchup with these fries unless you want it. For my burger I ordered the HL Hunt cooked medium which comes with white cheese, bacon, blackberry compote and mustard. The burger was filling, the cheese was melted but it had little flavor, and the bacon was chewy. The compote was my favorite part of the burger as it added a slightly sweet flavor. I requested a medium cooked burger but it didn't taste that way but it was still good despite that. Overall Rodeo Goat has lots of seating and friendly staff but I would go at an off peak time so that you don't have to wait a long time for everything. The food was still good despite the wait.
