When my mom is hungry for around lo mein, I normally get it from this restaurant. It is located in a small trip near the renovating Publix. The counter people are friendly and they normally cook to order. I always get the vegetable lo mein, which is pretty reasonable at about 10 dollars for a quart. It is generous enough to satisfy for 2 people easily. The noodles are al dente and I remember seeing broccoli and carrots in it. The sauce isn't that flavorful as I believe they mostly use soy, but it still is still decent. I also get the vegetable spring rolls, which can get oily. However, for 1.95 per spring roll is good enough. There isn't much sitting as most people buy for take out. However, there are a couple chairs for you to wait for the food while there is a tv playing music. The prices are reasonable as long as you are not expecting high quality food. Have ordered lunch here in the past and their poke bowls were really good. Large portion that was actually difficult to finish. But tonight I ordered a basic chicken and green peppers and pork fried rice and was really disappointed. The rice was below average and I gave up 1/3 of the way through. That, I could deal with, but the chicken felt like it was just about to turn and after 2 bites, I thought it best for my health to just throw it all away. Tucked away in the West Point plaza it's hidden next to Crafted and Izzaban. Best part about this place is how quickly the food is ready. You can place an order online or over the phone and each time I get there it's ready to go! Tried both the Chinese and hibachi grill options. You really can't go wrong with either. I have not dined in but it's more designed as a take out spot. To my surprise it has cold air each time I go, unlike most other chinese take out places therefore you wouldn't be sweating over your food if you do decide to dine in. Advertised as Chinese and Japanese Grill it's ideal to please more than just one person in the household. I usually order from each. Hibachi dinner specials starting at $13 and are sure fire to be too much food. I usually get the Teriyaki Chicken or steak. Comes with soup and salad. It's pretty good for your fast food Chinese/ Japanese food that also offer sushi. I have not tried their sushi yet, but not sure I will... perhaps if I'm in a crunch for time and am really craving sushi. The décor is minimal, but pleasing and minimal. The restaurant is small with about 4 tables if you want to it in, but not much for ambience. I've only done take out here. They do offer delivery too. The menu is pretty big for such a small place, and the price is reasonable. Lunch specials are under $6 between 11am-3pm, and dinner specials for $8.25 which comes with white rice, fried rice, and soup or egg roll. The average Chinese menu price is right around $9. This area of Metrowest needs a Chinese restaurant, so I was surprised when the one that previously occupied this space went out of business. This one has potential, but so far is not as good. We tried it for lunch, and the service was friendly, and the kitchen was very fast. The lunch boxes are a good deal because most include soup, salad and a bento box with sushi, rice, three large wonton triangles stuffed with cream cheese and deep fried, and your entree. The salad with ginger dressing was the best item. Salmon teriyaki was a bit fishy, as was the California roll. Overall the meal had that heavy oily sense you sometimes get from Chinese food. This is a nice little hidden gem back behind the Publix plaza. They're open late and are super fast! Whenever we are craving some quick and affordable sushi or Asian food we head over and are usually in and out (we order to go) within 15 minutes. You can dine in of course it's just very basic with a few tables and chairs and it's small - making it easier to walk up and order take out. Everyone there are very quick and to the point. Never trying to up sell you or suggest unnecessary things. The food isn't greasy or stomach-upsetting (if ya know what I mean) I always get edamame, cheese Rangoons, fried California roll, cucumber roll and avocado roll. I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese take outs. I just went to pick lunch here today it was my first time going there (I was on my lunch break). The food I got was disgusting. The meat had dark spots on it and it tasted like sewage even the place smelled weird . I had a co-worker try it to see if it was me but he spit it out and told me not to eat the food. Waste of $10. Had to go to Wendy's get some food. I do not recommend this food. If you live in this area or even close by the place I go to which is really good and taste just like NY Chinese food, its off of Silver Star and Clarcona Ocoee in the Publix shopping center. While I thought I had found a convenient place to pick up lunch on my way in between work and class I was sorely mistaken, I ordered online to have it ready for pickup at 12 and was there by 12:05 and it was ready, great right? Nope... the sashimi I got had a strong fishy smell (not the kind you want coming from sushi) I took one bite and threw it away, the rainbow roll again smelled odd and fell apart.. threw that away... the cucumber wrap didn't smell off but at that point I was over it and put it in the fridge.
