Our complimentary fried fish and side dishes were dropped off at our table shortly after placing our food order. Then about 10 minutes later, we received the Bibimbap and Beef Bulgogi. Seemed like the meat dish's portion size dropped once again! It used to be a bigger sized plate, if I remember correctly... Anyway, we enjoyed our food and atmosphere while we dined in. The owners were so sweet and let us come in, gave us a seat that would be nice for my baby to sit and relax, and they even gave her a little toy at the end of our meal. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed our time. I would love to come back again as it's pretty close to home. The restaurant is a little dimly lit which I actually liked a lot as it gives it a little more of an intimate atmosphere.

The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh!
