Came here at 8:45pm on a Wednesday night. Restaurant was nearly empty, just one other table occupied. I was afraid they would rush us as most Asian places do and tell us last call was at 9pm or something ridiculous (has happened before at other kbbq places) but was very pleasantly surprised to find the service to be excellent, welcoming, and friendly. We were never rushed and while we were still done before their closing time of 10pm, I never felt pressured or hurried. The man was very friendly and nice, I would guess he is the owner since he really seemed to care about providing a quality experience. Food was good, love that they had bean sprouts and leeks at the ban chan self service bar at the front, along with the normal kimchi and other typical side dishes. The meat quality seemed good, the brisket seemed well marbled and decent quality so it was probably actually usda prime. They put a round piece of parchment over the grill so it's easier to clean up but also makes it harder to brown the meats. Grills have an electronic temperature adjustment, goes up to 600 degrees which seemed to be the right temp to cook as 500 didn't cook fast enough. $32.99 for all you can eat, slightly more expensive than some of the places in Federal Way, but overall solid experience. Free street parking was pretty easy to find when I was there.

This is a go to spot for my friends and I to go to whenever we want our fill of AYCE KBBQ. The place is very clean and has great service to back up the environment. The owner and workers are very friendly and are attentive to our table. The quality of the food is great - granted my friends and I only really get brisket and pork belly. Another great thing about this place is that customers can as much sides as they want. Parking is great as there is ample space. I cannot find fault in this place at all.

These guys are awesome. The vibe is always a good time because you know they have K-POP playing. They're always really helpful if you need help grilling if you don't know but they food is always good because the quality is always on par. I love the LA galbi, the beef bulgogi, & ofc the pork belly. They don't skimp on it either.

So glad there's kbbq in Burien now! The meats are all great but brisket is my fav (simple but perfect fat ratio, better than most places I've tried). Banchan is self-serve and changes slightly each time I've been but typically includes kimchi, fish cakes, cucumber, pickled radish, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and leeks. I haven't had leeks at other kbbq places but it's my favorite. Everything I've tried has been good. My only gripe is garlic & jalapeños cost $1 extra each. Service is super friendly and you never have to wait long in between ordering meat. Parking is pretty easy since it's in Old Burien with pull-in street parking directly in front or regular street parking on a nearby block.

The staff here are very friendly! The food itself was solid. This was my first time getting serve your own side dishes at an AYCE KBBQ spot! The pros is that you can get as much as you want, and cons are the quality and taste of the side dishes themselves are just okay compared to other Korean restaurants. Nonetheless, it stays true to the all-you-can-eat experience. The meat was decent as well as the soups we got. Compared to other spots that I've tried I think that the meat could have a little more flavor when cooked, personally, however I still enjoyed our meal. They come in a plentiful so we got stuffed real quick after two orders! Overall, a solid KBBQ spot around the area to satisfy your Korean BBQ fixes. :)

Soju!

Really fun place to gather with a large group. There were 10 of us. Did the AYCE. Wonderful staff. Accommodated my loud family. We loved the self serve ban chan.

Here's the leaner brisket we got most of the time, which almost looks like a different cut of meat.

Another Korean BBQ bagged on this trip to the greater Seattle area, and a unique one given that it's the only Korean BBQ in the small town of Burien. The low AYCE lunch price of $21.99 is what caught my eye, and I was determined to know whether it there was decent value to be extracted. As an avid consumer of the korean'd BBQ meats, my primary go-to is the beef brisket with a side of kimchi and paper'd radish. As far as KW goes, the service was good as we went during a weekday lunch and we were regularly checked upon by the single server (probably owner). Meats were regularly flowing and drinks were adequately refilled. Sides (panchan) are self-serve at the buffet bar, which has its pros and cons, but overall I'm agnostic towards self-serve. Here's where things get knocked off a couple stars - consistency and taste. Of course, at $21.99 I didn't expect the best quality meats. However, I would have given this place at least four stars if it weren't for the inconsistent cuts of "brisket." See photos for what looks to be almost two different cuts of meat (one looks more like a round eye steak, and the other more traditional brisket). Overall, the round eye steak was pretty lackluster, rubbery, and not that great - although for $21.99 it passes. The more traditional looking brisket (more marbling and fattier) did indeed taste better and had better texture (not as rubbery), and would be a pretty solid deal for the price. If I could guarantee myself the fattier brisket plate for every serving, I could give this place a solid recommendation to try, at least once. However, the taste on the kimchi, pickled radish, and other panchan sides left much to be desired. The pickled radish taste was off, and kimchi was a bit too salty. The bonus though was the leek kimchi, which tasted better (not as salty, better balance of the flavor) and ended up being a solid contender for 2nd most eaten side. From the photos online I thought this would be a little dumpy, but the place is quite clean and well maintained. The owners are friendly and provide good service. For a weekday lunch I was surprised to see how many patrons came through, not a lot but also not nothing. TL;DR: If you mostly love brisket, this place offers some hit or miss brisket - some plates were decent, others were on the lower end of brisket quality. At $21.99, being one of the cheapest AYCE in town, if you're after the extreme value at the cost of quality and consistency, this is a solid recommendation. But if you desire at least some consistency and quality in your brisket, and also would like some decent tasting panchan, then I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I’m a vegetarian. 2 questions: 1) The menu says that ALL people at the table must participate in BBQ. Does that mean that my dining partners cannot enjoy AYCE while I’m…

Your friends are still able to eat ayce but it just means that you will also get charged for the AYCE on top of whatever you order for yourself separately. Since you'll be charged anyways you should be able to get the banchans. I would still call… Read more

Super friendly, upbeat and welcoming. The place itself had plenty of street parking in front, but also a side parking lot. Inside the restaurant there are a few high top tables, however, it seems like take out or pick up is most popular. We ordered the Chef's Sampler Dinner which was more than enough for the two of us...and a second meal the following day! It comes with one of everything: Two sides of your choice (can never go wrong with Mac n cheese or greens), two corn bread slices, hot link, ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket. It's hard to say which items we loved the most, but it's hands down the most tender chicken and fall-off-the-bone ribs! I can't wait to try their stuffed turkey legs that they raved about. Just know I'll be back! Now that's enough !!!s for one review.

We decided to look at some reviews , and decided to try an item to observe the service, and the food. Upon entering nothing about the business screams "Check Me Out" , the inside was small, and so dine in is very limited, and a little awkward. There were three teens running the shop, upon entering the girl working the front was friendly but EXTREMELY loud, she wasn't extremely professional, but was nice, and friendly.. but overall LOUD. Especially for how small the space was she was loud, and the conversations herself, and the two boys working were having openly while working were definitely not the most appropriate, but I wouldn't expect less from unsupervised adolescences. Now, we both ordered a single Mac & cheese just to try something. The price of the Mac was almost $10 for a small 6oz cup... so you really don't get much for the price. Once we got our food (To Go) we immediately got in the car and opened our Mac & cheese to observe it... We were shocked that reviews didn't fall far from our own observations. The Mac had little to NO cheese , and there was a random seasoning sprinkled on top (had no flavor). I took it upon myself to add some 'Baby Rays Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce' to the Mac when we got home, and it made it 100% better. Overall I will be giving this place 3 stars due to: lack of professionalism, quality, quantity, and price. The staff were definitely friendly, but overall loud, and she did reference that her boss was old (in her 60's) so she'll have to help her update the photos of the food on social media. I had mentioned we came because we wanted to see for ourselves how the reviews faired.

The fish here tastes and smells like the high quality, flavorful, well-made stuff it is. The fish looks beautiful too. They let us try the regular smoked salmon, the garlic, and the candied. All superb. Be warned the candied stuff - heck, all of them are addicting. The cost may seem high, but it is completely justified. You aren't getting bottom of the barrel keta (translated from native tongue to "dog") fish or "pink" salmon (only 1 tier up), you're getting fresh fish. There was no hint of gross "fishy" smell before or after eating. (To make your salmon last longer, may I suggest enjoying your salmon with rice and veggies, or in a sandwich?) They also sell high quality pork, beef, chicken, and other things in the freezer like sausage, duck, cheese. They also have pretty nicely priced wines for sale, from low $10s and up. Whites, reds, and bubblies. Highly recommend you make the side-tour to this joint for salmon. A fish dressed to impress that will win you praises.

Period. No notes. I've been here a couple of times now, and everything I've had has been memorable, which is not something I say lightly about sandwiches- a category that can betray you! The Ragnar's Club is a stellar concoction of herb roasted chicken breast, bacon, cheese, and apple jalapeño slaw. It's a delicious mess. The kind where things are happening all at once and every single thing is a good idea. Absolutely outstanding. On my most recent visit, I had the Fidel Cashflow, which features some of the most tender, perfectly seasoned pork belly I've had on a sandwich. It's like an Uber Cubano--familiar, comforting, but leveled up with serious execution. Two visits, two excellent sandwiches, which now has me fully convinced that everything on the menu is as good as it looks. I trust them. I would let them choose my sandwich destiny. Service is super friendly. You order at the counter, but you're met with genuine smiles and a helpful, welcoming attitude that makes you feel like you made a very good life choice. Parking isn't the easiest, but you'll figure it out. The space itself is tiny, with just a few tables, so while you can eat there, a lot of people seem to grab it to go--presumably to eat it somewhere quiet and reflect on how good it was. Sandwich shops are a dime a dozen. Really good ones are a special find. This is a really good one. Destination-worthy
