These guys are awesome. The vibe is always a good time because you know they have K-POP playing. They're always really helpful if you need help grilling if you don't know but they food is always good because the quality is always on par. I love the LA galbi, the beef bulgogi, & ofc the pork belly. They don't skimp on it either.

Came here at 8:45pm on a Wednesday night. Restaurant was nearly empty, just one other table occupied. I was afraid they would rush us as most Asian places do and tell us last call was at 9pm or something ridiculous (has happened before at other kbbq places) but was very pleasantly surprised to find the service to be excellent, welcoming, and friendly. We were never rushed and while we were still done before their closing time of 10pm, I never felt pressured or hurried. The man was very friendly and nice, I would guess he is the owner since he really seemed to care about providing a quality experience. Food was good, love that they had bean sprouts and leeks at the ban chan self service bar at the front, along with the normal kimchi and other typical side dishes. The meat quality seemed good, the brisket seemed well marbled and decent quality so it was probably actually usda prime. They put a round piece of parchment over the grill so it's easier to clean up but also makes it harder to brown the meats. Grills have an electronic temperature adjustment, goes up to 600 degrees which seemed to be the right temp to cook as 500 didn't cook fast enough. $32.99 for all you can eat, slightly more expensive than some of the places in Federal Way, but overall solid experience. Free street parking was pretty easy to find when I was there.

This is a go to spot for my friends and I to go to whenever we want our fill of AYCE KBBQ. The place is very clean and has great service to back up the environment. The owner and workers are very friendly and are attentive to our table. The quality of the food is great - granted my friends and I only really get brisket and pork belly. Another great thing about this place is that customers can as much sides as they want. Parking is great as there is ample space. I cannot find fault in this place at all.

So glad there's kbbq in Burien now! The meats are all great but brisket is my fav (simple but perfect fat ratio, better than most places I've tried). Banchan is self-serve and changes slightly each time I've been but typically includes kimchi, fish cakes, cucumber, pickled radish, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and leeks. I haven't had leeks at other kbbq places but it's my favorite. Everything I've tried has been good. My only gripe is garlic & jalapeños cost $1 extra each. Service is super friendly and you never have to wait long in between ordering meat. Parking is pretty easy since it's in Old Burien with pull-in street parking directly in front or regular street parking on a nearby block.

The staff here are very friendly! The food itself was solid. This was my first time getting serve your own side dishes at an AYCE KBBQ spot! The pros is that you can get as much as you want, and cons are the quality and taste of the side dishes themselves are just okay compared to other Korean restaurants. Nonetheless, it stays true to the all-you-can-eat experience. The meat was decent as well as the soups we got. Compared to other spots that I've tried I think that the meat could have a little more flavor when cooked, personally, however I still enjoyed our meal. They come in a plentiful so we got stuffed real quick after two orders! Overall, a solid KBBQ spot around the area to satisfy your Korean BBQ fixes. :)

    Soju!

Really fun place to gather with a large group. There were 10 of us. Did the AYCE. Wonderful staff. Accommodated my loud family. We loved the self serve ban chan.

Here's the leaner brisket we got most of the time, which almost looks like a different cut of meat.

I’m a vegetarian. 2 questions: 1) The menu says that ALL people at the table must participate in BBQ. Does that mean that my dining partners cannot enjoy AYCE while I’m…

Your friends are still able to eat ayce but it just means that you will also get charged for the AYCE on top of whatever you order for yourself separately. Since you'll be charged anyways you should be able to get the banchans. I would still call…

Been going here for several years now - poke has always been solid and the Hawaiian dishes were good not great. But today it was all different - everything was outstanding! Wife got a 2 salmon scoop poke : fish was great as always, but the seasoned potatoes (gamja jorim) she chose as 1 of 3 sides was very good. Dad had the hwae-dupbap (think of it as Korean bibimbap but with poke instead of meat) and the Cho-gochujang sauce was excellent. I had the loco moco and it was better than in the past. Also the banchan with that were fire (seasoned japchae noodles, spicy shredded radish) both better than in the past They sell most of the side dishes as banchan and as a Korean I fully endorse them. I am a huge Korean banchan snob and I will absolutely countersign their cooking I don't know what's going on but like I said - everything tastes better than before. The ajumma who runs the place said business is getting slower as the economy is imploding so let's support this awesome local business so we can keep this place around.

Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

These folks probably need another great review like Elon Musk needs an increase in his allowance,…read morebut fairness demands that I not keep silent regarding my enjoyment of this restaurant: THE ROSES: Ample dedicated parking. The staff is gracious, prompt, professional, and - I hope no one objects when I say this - rather attractive. Generous portions and reasonable prices for what you're getting. The food is nothing sort of legendary - bold flavors and dishes have the perfect balance of sweet, heat, savory, and umami. THE THORNS: None significant enough to mention. NEITHER ROSE NOR THORN: It is important to note that this place is insanely popular with the area's Korean community. The restaurant is quite busy Thursday thru Sunday, and significant waits for a table are likely. Monday thru Wednesday is your best time for going and getting a table without a wait. The price of some dishes, like their signature offering, Kalbijjim, might give you a pause ($80+). It is important to keep in mind this is made to order, and one serving can easily serve four regular appetites. If you're just a couple, you're definitely going to be taking this home with you. This is not a bad thing, as Kalbijjim is one of those dishes that is even better the next day and doesn't suffer from reheating. THE VERDICT: Daeho Kalbijjim is extremely popular, and it's not hard to see why. The execute authentic Korean cuisine pretty much flawlessly with efficient and charming service. What else to you want in a restaurant? Highly recommend. Just try not to go on the busy days.

1 star-Accessibility failure and indifferent staff response…read more I have dined at several Daeho locations before, and this visit was by far the most disappointing experience I've had with the restaurant group. I came for dinner with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. The food was decent, consistent with what I'd expect from Daeho, but the service failure that followed dinner overshadowed the meal entirely. When we were ready to leave, we found a black Mercedes-Benz parked directly in front of the restaurant entrance, in a clearly marked no-parking zone designated for accessibility. The vehicle had no handicap plate or placard. This zone exists specifically so wheelchair users can be safely loaded into a car, and its being blocked meant my mother could not be loaded there as needed. So we went inside and asked staff for help-not once, but to three separate employees. Instead of offering any help, one of them, actually said to us, "Do you think you can move the car?" No urgency, no concern, not even a willingness to ask which table it belonged to. In the end, I had to move our own car to a spot farther from the entrance in order to assist my mother, rather than being able to load her safely and directly from the space nearest the door. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected a level of attentiveness and problem-solving that simply wasn't there. A short announcement asking whose car it was would have taken staff less than a minute and resolved the issue for a customer with a genuine mobility need. Instead, we were left to handle it ourselves. I'd encourage management to review how staff are trained to respond to accessibility-related situations, and I'd caution other diners visiting with family members who have mobility needs to aware this may be an issue here. For a restaurant charging premium prices, this kind of indifference is unacceptable. This isn't a minor inconvenience-it's a failure of basic decency.

This was my first time trying JEN Korean BBQ with my family, and I was excited since I'd heard they have several locations across the U.S. We came for dinner, which is about $35 per person for the all-you-can-eat menu, while weekday lunch is around $25 per person, making it a great value if you're looking for AYCE Korean BBQ.
