    Dol Sot Nak Bibimbap
    Tina N.

If you're ever craving a homemade Korean meal, this is a place to consider. I visited around 2 pm, so it was relatively quiet (not a complaint), and the menu was simple, with tofu soups as the main focus. I ordered the A combo with beef ribs and seafood soup (medium spice level), along with an additional dol nak bibimbap. The beef was tender with a sweet marinade. The soup was enjoyable - I was so eager to try it that I forgot to take a photo! Free side dish refills were also provided, and the staff were amazing! The dol nak bibimbap wasn't particularly flavorful to my taste. I think the intention was to highlight the simple ingredients like perilla leaf, finely diced marinated squid, and sesame oil aroma. The crispy rice at the bottom was a definite plus. I would return again when I'm craving hot seafood tofu soup.

Always love the food here! The food comes out quick and always hot. The staff are very attrntative but it can get busy at times. Highly recommend! The seafood tofu soup is my fave!

Food is all super yummy. They asked if we needed more side dishes a few times. Side dishes, tofu soup, all just delicious!!! Seafood pancake is crisp on outside but moist inside. It's pretty pricey. I saw some menus on Yelp but they were before the price increase... It's nice they give complimentary tea here; many Korean stores just give water. Servers were nice and checked it on us a few times. Asked my son (6 years old) if he wanted anything and was super friendly to him despite my son being obnoxious and loud. They have high chairs, boosters, plastic bowls & utensils for kids. Kids friendly. My kids love eating the tofu soup mixed with rice, Korean mashed potato salad and kalbi. This shop is located inside Great Wall shopping mall; there are many 50 cent coin operated ride on & 25 cent to $2 capsule & claw machines. So before and/ or after your delicious meal, kids get to have entertainment too. Also drink & dessert shops in the mall. You can get your groceries at 99 ranch in the mall too!

I ordered the bibimbap for delivery from Jang Soo via an Asian grocery app. In addition to the bibimbap (rice packed separately), the takeout also included four complimentary appetizers and a soup. Everything was packed carefully. All good was 10/10. The bibimbap contained a good variety of fresh ingredients, including beef, bean sprouts, shredded carrots, egg, seaweed, mushroom, etc. the complimentary sides were amazing too. Delicious food at a very nice price. Highly recommend.

I love going to this place anytime I'm at Great Wall. They have amazing service and the staff is so understanding and kind. The food is good as well of course. When I went there was this guy who said his food did not fast right and the workers remade it until the guy liked it, which props to the staff. They also have a really cute wall full of bowls which I will include in a picture.

This is a 3.5 Stars review. Going to Great Wall Mall is awesome. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and grocery shopping at Ranch 99 all in one plaza. We decided to randomly choose 4 restaurants to get take-outs to cover several days in addition to groceries. Jang Soo Tofu is one of the 4. When we went to pick up the food, the lady handed us a box! I was like, what?! The food: Seafood soft tofu soup, with side of rice - 3.5 Stars This is an a-okay++ type of rating. I suspect the food is actually better than 3.5, just the fact that it's a take-out instead of eat-in. The tofu is more "disturbed"; everything is a bit off. I like that they have spiciness option; mine is 4 out of 5. It's probably not the best option for take-out. Bibimbap (not Dolsot) with side of rice and soup - 3.5 Stars Our favorite is the Dolsot option. This is a reasonable alternative, but it feels a little sad without the hot stone bowl. I was pleased to see the side of soup though. 4 Banchan options - 3.5 Stars I was wondering if they are offering banchan on their take-outs, so this was a pleasant surprise. Flavors are good. Normally, there are more. They are offering only a limited menu right now, and no changes either. Like others say, service can be meh.

Side dishes: potato salad, cucumber kimchee, bean sprouts, kimchee, fried fish

Food 4.5/5 - The food here is super tasty. We ordered the seafood tofu soup and it came with side dishes AND fried dish. My favorite was the cucumber kimchee. The tofu soup was very comforting on a cold day and served with rice. You can choose your spice level as well. We also ordered the green onion seafood pancake that was crunchy on the outside and came with the delicious flavorful dipping sauce. My grandma rates the food a 5! Service 2/5 - I will admit, the service is not the best here meaning they aren't as attentive or check in on you often, but I respect the hustle. For me, this usually means the food is good at Asian restaurants haha. It has to shine and speak for itself. Our server did offer to cut our seafood pancake for us and also came out with the perfect amount and size of to-go boxes for our leftovers and even included the container for the sauce without me asking for it. We got our food and bill in a timely fashion so this didn't sway my review by much at all. I've been here many times and always leave satisfied. We also get our grocery shopping done at 99 Ranch Market while we're here.

We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

But I will definitely return for more of their delicious sushi!!! I would definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

It was crunchy and not too salty or bland. The ratio of scallion, seafood, and batter was perfect. They did not skimp out on the squid. The size of the squid was about one phalange. When I bit into the squid it was chewy, springy, and meaty. It's amazing to me how they managed to make the pancake crunchy despite filling it with so many ingredients. The kimchi and radish were super flavorful and not too spicy! Kimchi was sooo good. Even though the side dishes were limited, I enjoyed the freshness and taste. I also tried the samgyetang (Korean chicken soup) and bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) for the first time. The samgyetang was light and hearty. The broth could have been a bit sweeter. I probably wouldn't order this again though because I like more flavor. Though the bibim naengmyeon was too spicy for me, it was refreshing. The noodles were chewy and the cucumbers added a nice crunch.

When I clarified by listing the correct order, she just rolled her eyes and walked away. Isn't it a server's job to take order, and make sure it's correct? I did not take away from the tips because there are other servers who helped bring our food and refill the banchans, but this encounter made me not want to go back for a while, despite how much I like the food.
