Our first time and love the service and premier foods

Ambience. A Service. A Food. A Price. A Found in strip mall with lots of parking. Nicely decorated and clean. Service friendly walking in and getting table at 12:30 on a Sunday. We went for All you can eat and upgraded to premium pkg to get premium meats. Loved pretty much everything except the r shell in shrimp was difficult and messy to eat. LOVE the galbi short ribs/. Gochujang Chicken was tender even when I burnt one side. Recommend changing grills when too much charcoal builds up. Service was up in changing many times. Grill changes happens frequently when sauces burn into the grill. Lots of free banchan refills and. Ice variety. Also they have barley tea. I wish we had ordered more but we got full after 90 mins. The table tried beef tongue first time and they liked knowing its thinly sliced. Quite a drive from downtown Seattle. Took me 45 mins. And thank goodness for GPS. I am a fan !

My bf and I came and got the Premium option of AYCE. It waa good. We also enjoyed the appetizer options. Service was friendly. I don't think there was anything that really made it stand out from other AYCE Korean BBQ places, but I'd come again.

This place is awesome. The food is great, fresh, not too salty, the side dishes are perfect, and the service is good so you can get enough to eat - meaning you can order often and get the hot plate changed out quick! Highly recommend going here during the week since the weekends are crazy busy. And free ice cream at the end. :)

I've been to Do Si a couple of times, but I actually haven't had the chance to try the Korean BBQ yet, so this review might need to be updated later. My last visit, I ordered the beef bibambap and I was very happy with the portion size and the banchan (side dishes). The staff here were so friendly and very attentive! This place has some of the best service for a KBBQ place that I've experienced. I didn't feel like I had to try to get anyone's attention as I was checked on very often. The parking here is easy and I had basically no wait time even though I went on a Saturday night. It definitely gets really busy here but I'm glad to have another solid option for Korean food. Overall, I'd say that this is a place to check out if you're in/near the area, though maybe not one to go out of your way for. Personally, I will definitely be coming back here again.

The last time we ate here we realized that as we get older we can no longer do all you can eat. So it's great we can just order whatever a la carte via the menu. Place is always clean, staff is always cordial with us. Since we are trying to get healthy we can only commencing a while for special occasions. So glad we live around the corner. If we ever crave kbbq we can just walk over.

Located in Kent in a plaza with plenty of parking. Upon entering, they have a device you can use to check in the event there is no one at the front desk. There's plenty of seating and the music is very up beat along with TVs literally everywhere. The service itself was really great. I would argue to say that it's the best service I've ever received from a KBBQ spot all around. We were always checked in on and not once did we ever have to wave anyone down to ask for something. Whenever they'd see we were low on anything, they'd come over and ask if we needed more water, wanted more meat, or just wanted to order anything else like our grill changed. 5/5 to their staff for sure! The food itself was good, we definitely had the meats we liked more. I would personally say to stick with the beef items if you're not a fan of that gamey pork taste as it was strong, even when you dip it into the sauces they give. We enjoyed that they had beef tongue and that's what we ordered most of the time alongside the other beef items. The Banchan was what you'd normally expect, no complaints there. As far as the side appetizers we ordered, we really liked the crispiness of the fries and the corn cheese was good too. Personally, I'd say not to order the chicken wings. The bones were broken on almost all the flats I ate and the flavors were nothing special.

Definitely a go to spot with great customer service even on a busy night! We've been here a few times now and they've been consistent with quality and customer satisfaction We do the AYCE option which has a large selection of meat to pick from and appetizers as well. You get to pick up to 4 types of meat and 2 appetizers each round and with the service they provided they made sure we were ready for our next round every time. The quality of meat is good and the sides are great! At the end of your meal they also provide complimentary ice cream too! Excellent place for KBBQ

If you want to get your kbbq fix this place will deliver. One the things i appreciate is how attentive the staff is to your needs and wants. If you need more meats and seafood to throw on your grill, they appear within minutes. They have good situational awareness; if your grill has heavy char and need changing, they will notice it and have it swapped out with a clean one. They even give the courtesy of including a piece of pork fat for you to to rub on your grill plate. Their short ribs and bulgogi is nicely marinated, and their banchan dishes are fresh. Reasonably priced menu. I will be coming back soon!

So exciting to experience the first kbbq place in Kent! Do Si has two different types of ayce: lunch and dinner. While also have lunch specials through the week and an a la carte menu as well. They have a wide variety/cut of meats, being unseasoned to seasoned and an exceptional amount of appetizers you can choose from too! As a reminder they do limit you to four meats/appetizers and WILL CHARGE you for leftovers. Cute part of the meal is you get ice cream for dessert! Service can vary at times... but overall they are all fairly nice to everyone. Do Si is quite spacious, with a decent amount of seating. And the vibes are great because they have music and videos playing throughout the restaurant. I will say that you won't really smell too much like kbbq on your way out because of how well they ventilate the restaurant haha.

Korean BBQ a little closer to home! we did the premium all you can eat which came with beef belly (so tender and flavorful), kalbi beef ribs (nice cut and well flavored), and super thin pork belly which of course was also delicious! Unlimited sides (no potato salad at the moment ) but none the less good! The cheesy corn was a little dry after it cooled down could use more butter or mayo. The staff are nice and accommodating with two under 5. The unlimited included fried chicken and fries (ask for no spicy mayo on top if u have kids) which was perfect for our picky little eaters. Restaurant was clean, decor was cute, music a little loud but overall we will def be back!

I remember this place used to be a hotpot restaurant, but I'm glad it's now a KBBQ spot. We made a reservation for AYCE with a large group, but we got stuck in traffic and arrived a bit late. We called ahead, and the staff was very accommodating and held our table, which was great since the wait would have been long without a reservation. Overall, the staff was friendly, and the service was nice. Their AYCE menu includes some unique appetizers for a KBBQ place, like chicken wings and fries. The fries and wings were just okay - not something I'd typically get at KBBQ. We tried new items each round, but our favorite was the beef bulgogi. It's a bit disappointing that they don't offer steamed egg on the AYCE menu, though. At other KBBQ places, I'm used to getting a small piece of butter each round for grilling. I'm not sure if Do Si offers butter, as we didn't receive any. Instead, we were given a very tiny piece of pork belly fat, which didn't work well for oiling the grill and caused the food to burn easily. One of the servers noticed and kindly offered to cook the next round for us. I was curious to see his technique, but he just used a squeeze bottle of oil, which worked much better than the tiny piece of pork fat we had. The portion sizes didn't seem adjusted for the size of our party, so the servings were a bit too small for everyone to share. They offered free ice cream at the end. For parties of five or more, there's an automatic 18% gratuity. However, someone in our group ended up double-tipping because he was simply handed the payment machine to select a tip amount. It'd be nice if there was a reminder.

The service here was very good! The server kept on coming around to make sure that we were okay and making sure that we always had our choices of meats and appetizers! The food here is good and seasoned well depending on what meat items you choose. The seasoned items we ordered were the Cajun Shrimp and beef short ribs. I haven't really had corned cheese in a restaurant before, but I can say that I really liked it! I was so full and couldn't eat for the rest of the day! The restaurant itself is nice inside and real cool chill vibe. I would definitely come here again and recommend that you try Do Si Korean BBQ when craving some KBBQ.

I actually came all the way down from Bellingham to try this place with a friend and it was awesome. There's no good AYCE places up here in Bham and I moved from California where there's a ton so was happy to find this gem. The servers were super attentive and changed the grills often, the meats themselves were great, loved the selection they offered and the banchan was also good. The atmosphere was also nice, the inside is very upbeat and roomy for a KBBQ joint. Definitely will be back, hopefully soon.

We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

The lady that was our server poured all the meat on our fryer so half of the meat was stacked on top of each other so it took longer to cooked. We're already on a 90 minute time crunch. If my step dad wasn't pestering the lady for a next round they wouldn't have checked on us and we would've been waiting for 30 minutes. Our grill and grill parchment paper were not changed, and our banchan dishes were not refilled. No one explained whether banchan refills were available since we did not choose the AYCE option. We also noticed that sesame oil, which is typically offered at most Korean restaurants, was not provided and seemed to be kept behind the counter instead of being offered to our table. One thing that stood out to us was that we were the only Asian customers dining at the time. We observed staff spending a significant amount of time checking in on other tables multiple times, while our table did not receive the same level of attention. The difference in attentiveness felt noticeable, and honestly, it felt intentional. At the end of our visit, no one thanked us or said goodbye, which made the experience feel impersonal, especially since we were there celebrating a birthday. We came in excited to celebrate together as a family. While the food was good, the lack of attentiveness and communication impacted our overall experience. We hope the service can improve so that all guests feel equally welcomed and cared for..

Super crispy and crunchy but not a ton of meat a more breading. It felt small for a half a chicken or even a whole chicken. Not sure what size chicken they use for "whole" chicken. Yangnyum was good but the chicken was not coated too well. Top ones barely had any sauce and bottom ones were drenched in sauce. I wish they would toss it in sauce a little more evenly. I do also wish they would include the 1 side radish with each order as for Korean fried chicken place, radishes come with chicken as a standard item. Like ketchup for fries. Back then, customers were treated with care, attention to detail mattered, and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. My visit in 2025 was a great experience. Unfortunately, as of February 2026, that standard is no longer being met. This restaurant is small, so cleanliness should be manageable, yet it did not smell good and did not look clean. The bright lighting that once enhanced the experience now did the opposite, making the dirt on the baseboards, walls, and chairs very noticeable. Standing there waiting for service, I couldn't help but think: if the front looks like this, what does the kitchen look like? I'm writing this review as an update on how Chicko's is doing since the grand opening. If you look at my previous review, you'll see how excited and satisfied I was during my first visit. There are new hours, which isn't an issue. However, the kitchen closes at 9:30 PM. I arrived before 9:30, but there were no employees at the front. I stood there for several minutes with extremely loud music playing and couldn't even call out for help. After waiting, I started taking photos for this review. A few minutes later, at 9:32, an employee came out and told me I could not order because the kitchen had closed at 9:30. This same employee has been here recently and appears to be newer. She is often wearing headphones or looking at her phone. While that's common these days, it doesn't come across as professional or attentive to customers. For context, I'm a regular customer. I eat here and also pick up orders for DoorDash as a side hustle. I come in multiple times a week and have done so consistently since the shop opened. Despite that, I'm treated like a stranger--interactions feel robotic and not genuine. That's disappointing, especially since the business once felt like the owners truly cared. It's also unfortunate that the young man who worked here around October is no longer employed. He treated customers very well, whether they were ordering food or picking up deliveries, and he was consistently kind and professional. If you're only coming for the food, it's still good, and this may still be your spot. But if you're looking to become a regular, expect consistency, and feel confident the restaurant is clean every time, I can't confidently recommend it anymore. At least, it's no longer the spot for me. Because of this, I'll be looking for a new chicken restaurant in Federal Way. I don't support family-owned businesses that lose their focus on cleanliness, service, and care while only chasing profit.
