I saw this place on Instagram when it first came out. I love matcha and I used to live down in this area. The matcha is high quality and the drinks have a great balance when mixing something else with it. Now that I live in Yorba Linda, I do think it's worth the 40 minute drive to this place. The owners are super nice. My mom and sister also love this place. It looks very clean, organized, and it has a warm feeling. We have been here many times and often drive all the way here from Yorba Linda just for this place. Would recommend it.

This place located in Asian Garden Mall. I'm was skeptical to try because I had try food in this mall before years ago. It was not that good. So I didn't have any expectation, but I want to try it out since this place has good reviews. And thank goodness that I did. Panda Matcha - 4.5/5 I like how the matcha doesn't have that super bitter taste like some places.

We were here enjoying the night market on the weekend. The food court inside the shopping area was still opened. I couldn't help myself when I saw pandan matcha, two flavors I like together. It was a good drink, but not spectacular. Servers were quick and efficient. It was nice to grab a drink and relax indoors.

Lovely cafe inside the garden mall with food coffee and drinks! They share seating with all rest of the food court and the parking to get here is always notoriously terrible haha. Staff were able to answer my questions about the drinks and were nice. Drinks will take a bit but worth the wait! The large fruit drinks will come in a ridiculously tall cup it's hilarious! The Vietnamese coffee is great but the pandan one was soo delicious. Would also recommend the dragon fruit refresher!!

The definition of a hidden gem! They really have the best matcha I've ever had and I was informed that their matcha is imported from Japan! I went after a day in Disneyland since it's not too far and I'm so glad I did :) I got the ube coffee, matcha brûlée, and banana matcha and they were all amazing. My favorite was the ube coffee as the Vietnamese coffee and the ube cold foam was the perfect mix! It's inside the Asian garden mall and parking may be tricky in the weekends but I say it's definitely worth it. It's located on their food court so it's easy to find once you're inside. I'm already planning my next visit to Koo!

I don't frequent to this mall as often as I should considering there's many great places to eat at and a handful of boba joints but I had to check out Koo Coffee Tea as it seems to be a bit more inviting plus they have a great variety selection of everything so you'll end up finding yourself deciding between 2 drinks! Not to mention all their matcha is ceremonial grade imported from Japan so you know you're getting the good stuff! DRINKS Banana Matcha with Boba I only had a sample as this wasn't my drink but that sip alone left an imprint so I definitely have to try out one of their matcha drinks next time! Have to say though, boba isn't the best. It's better than most places for sure though! Marble Coffee Can't complain about this beverage! It was to my liking and kept me going throughout the day. Although I'd have to order 2 next time lol. Overall Yeah. You can count on me coming back. There's a good selection of drinks made with quality ingredients. I like the fact that the matcha they use is the ceremonial grade so you can guarantee you'll be awake. Fun fact: matcha is naturally caffeinated and won't leave you feeling sluggish afterwards! Great customer service, very helpful and informative. It's located in the mall so noise level will fluctuate if you're ok with that and there's plenty of seating! I think I already know my drink spot when I'm at this mall that it's located in. Planning to visit again for one of the weekends of the Night Market. Thanks for the tasty drinks Koo Coffee Tea! Koo Coffee Tea is new to the Asian Garden Mall food court and it deserves all the love! They use ceremonial grade matcha from Japan and they make many ingredients in house such as the Pandan Milk! Everything is delicious but not too sweet. You really can tell how much love and effort they put into their drinks. The owner is so sweet and friendly. There are choices for everyone from tea to refresher to smoothies! It's not everyday you see a place that makes this variety of drinks at great quality and customize it to your desire. We'll be returning again and again!

This new Boba shop is located inside the Asian Garden Mall. I got myself Original Sugarcane drink in 32 oz size. That is the largest size they had for this drink. It was super fresh and refreshing drink. Service was quick and ambiance is nice.

Stopped in to try some drinks the other day. They are located inside the Asian Garden Mall so parking can be tough at times. They are right in the center of the mall and have lots of seating available. I got three different drinks. First up was the wintermelon grass jelly. Wintermelon is a fairly new drink for me and my current favorite. It is so nutty and refreshing. Next, I got a sugarcane drink. This is their tallest drink and I love sugarcane drinks. So sweet and delicious. Last but not least, a matcha brulee tornado. It is well balanced, sweet and very refreshing. If you are looking for a place to stop and get coffee or tea deinks in the Asian Garden Mall then look no further!

My favorite tea is the Matcha Einspanne, a creamy matcha drink that is made just right. I ordered all my drinks half sweet and they were delicious. I picked up a few extra for my friends too because this place is new and a must-try. Koo Coffee Tea is located inside the Asian Garden Mall so parking is better in the back of the mall. I ordered this Matcha Einspanner. Really enjoyed this matcha drink. The flavor was smooth and not too sweet, with a nice balance between the matcha and milk. Saw this place on TikTok and thought i'd try it. Upon entering the owner was super sweet and welcoming giving me a run down on the best sellers and what I might like. I got the banana matcha , strawberry matcha, mango tornado and matcha crème brûlée. The banana matcha is very potent in banana a bit of artificial banana flavor but still delicious if you like that ! The strawberry matcha had a strong strawberry flavor as well and quite good. The crème brûlée matcha was super good not too sweet and refreshing with the blended of it. The mango tornado was super good definitely taste the mango flavors. Overall good place if you're in the area and craving matcha and the customer service was 10/10. read more

Had a great experience at KOO Coffee Tea inside Asian Garden Mall! The staff was so friendly and even checked in to make sure we liked our drinks. If we didn't, they were happy to fix them. Asian Garden Mall was a big part of my childhood, so it was nice finding this new spot here. My mom usually doesn't like drinks that are too sweet or had ice, but they made her drink perfectly. Even she complimented that it was now her favorite place and asked to come back! I definitely recommend the Taro Matcha and Strawberry Matcha. First of all the service is so amazing the lady at the front was so nice and was even asking how the place was and how was the drinks and it was amazing. The matcha was so amazing and tasty it's way better than other matcha that I've had I would 100% recommend to try out if you're in the area. The matcha that I got was coconut and it even has little bits of coconut in top of the foam even on the banana matcha there was 2 banana slices on top of the banana foam. Unique flavors that I have not seen in other stores which is amazing. And is also located in a really nice night market with good atmosphere really nice air conditioner and has a really nice look to it. Looks really modern. read more

Came here with my sister to grab some drinks and try out a new place, and we had such a great experience! I got the Matcha Brulee Tornado, and my sister got the Matcha Einspanner. Right off the bat, the workers (I believe one of them was the owner) were so sweet and welcoming. The owner personally served us our drinks and took the time to chat with us, which made the experience feel so warm and personal. He kept checking in on us and even offered to adjust our drinks however we liked if they weren't to our taste. The drinks didn't need any adjustments at all, they were perfect. They use Japanese ceremonial-grade matcha, and you can absolutely tell from both the amazing rich taste and the vibrant color. On top of that, he gave us some freebies (candy and jasmine green tea packets), which was such a thoughtful gesture. You can really feel how much care and passion goes into this business. Definitely come support this spot and spread the word, they deserve all the love and success! read more

I love that. I ordered the double matcha. The matcha was nice strong. I like my matcha sweet and this was just enough. So for you "less sweet people" it would be perfect. Some others might want more sweetness. My kids devoured the strawberry tornado smoothie. Everything was good and we'll be coming back. It's located inside Asian Garden Mall. I went on a Friday morning and parking wasn't an issue. If you're here you have to stop for drinks. Let your kids roam the mall or your parents enjoy the culture. As someone who goes to alot of cafes, this is one of the best cafes I've been to in the Los Angeles metro area. We ordered the Pandan Milk Tea with Matcha Foam at 25% sweetness. The Pandan drink is creamy and fragrant with a hint of saltiness to it. The matcha foam is even creamier, with a potent matcha flavor without being bitter. They don't give too much ice and the price is very reasonable at $6.75 for a 20 oz cup. The employees were quite attentive and polite. Stopped by Koo Coffee Tea inside Asian Garden Mall and had a great experience. Also ordered the Ube Coffee, which was very tasty. Ube wasn't over powering and it wasn't too sweet, only problem was there was too much ice. Be sure to ask for less ice. The best ones almost melt in your mouth and create that creamy, refreshing texture when paired with condensed milk, toppings, or soft serve. This one? Not that. The ice was extremely icy and hard, and it honestly tasted like they just poured matcha-flavored water/syrup over a mountain of ice. The matcha flavor didn't really soak into the shaved ice the way I expected, so instead of getting that smooth matcha flavor throughout every bite, I was getting... ice. The soft serve was probably the "better" part, but even with the matcha and hojicha soft serve mixed in, it couldn't save the shaved ice for me. And the mochi balls? SO squishy. I normally LOVE mochi, but these were not doing it for me tonight. It was fat & it just felt like a fat wet dough-ball. The biggest problem? We threw away more than 3/4 of it. And if you know me, you know I usually have a very hard time wasting dessert, or any food in general. I honestly haven't had a dessert this disappointing in quite some time. Would I come back? Nope. Would I recommend it? Unfortunately, no. Was the plaza fun? Absolutely! Maybe we just caught them on an off night, but based on this experience, I'll be sticking to my other shaved ice spots. Happy Desserts... but tonight, barely.
