The worker was attentive and helped explain ingredients in the baked goods to ensure allergy safe.

They've got local kombucha on tap - we tried the Wake Up Call - which had green tea, Yerba mate & blueberry - super refreshing! We also ordered a pistachio pinwheel but unfortunately, it did not hold up well for the photo (some precious pastry was wasted UGH). But take my word for it, it tasted delicious! They offered my pup a treat and took a photo for their Instagram feed lol. You may still find it if you scroll back far enough. I've heard business meeting, meetups, dates, podcasts and book club discussions. Love the place! The use of coffee bags as decorations and other rustic decor makes me happy. The icing to update the review is my little guy spilled his water, one of the staff made him a little crab craft to match his shirt just to cheer him up. That's just kindness.

While I was visiting, a mother and her young daughter (probably around seven or eight) came in, and the daughter was so curious about how the coffee was made. It was really nice to see the staff take the time to walk them through everything--explaining the photos on the wall, the different types of beans, how they're grown, and where they source them from. It created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Experiences like that really stand out, and it's clear they care about both their craft and their customers. I'll definitely be going back again.

I landed on the Biscoff Bliss and as a fun tidbit - they offer Small, Medium, and Large, but they also have a "bucket" size - which we found intriguing & of course went for the bucket! It's essentially one of those "to-go" soup containers and they make a hole in the lid to fit a large boba tea sized straw. It also had like 5 shots of espresso in it and even at 3pm, I'm down for! That was literally the best coffee I have tried in a long time. It was delicious and there was so much of it that I got to enjoy it for the rest of the afternoon! As a side note, the 2nd time I went, I ordered the same thing & another barista made it. It was good, but not as good as the first one I had. The prices are great and I love supporting a small business over a chain. So you should definitely pay a visit to The Bean Counter!

It's the kind of spot you want to hang out in. The coffee is where they truly shine, rich, smooth, and tons of flavor options (including sugar-free, which I love). They also have a great variety of milk choices, so it's easy to customize exactly what you want. Unfortunately, the ham and cheese croissant was a big letdown. It was extremely greasy so much so that the paper it came in was completely soaked. When I went to take a bite, there was a strong, almost chemical smell that didn't resemble fresh baked pastry or ham at all. I tried to give it a chance, but the taste matched the smell and I just couldn't finish it. For $7, it was disappointing, and I ended up throwing it away. I had already left by the time I realized how bad it was, so I didn't get the chance to ask for a replacement, but based on that experience, I'd probably skip the pastries in the future. That said, I'll definitely still come back for the coffee, it's genuinely great. Just hoping the food side improves!
